Hi there, the new Anime Season has already begun.
I’d like to share my thoughts about the shows I’ve started in this season.

Asobi ni Iku yo!

An Alien with oversized boobs, cat ears and a tail appeared in the neighborhood of the male Lead Character Kio.
The alien is called Eris, she has a happy attitude and seems to be a bit airheaded.
Kio takes her home, everybody in Kio’s surrounding seems to work for several Secret agency’s and as soon as they found about the identity of Eris they are after her.
The start of this episode was pretty much rushed, they threw all characters and plot in your face at once and the second episode turned out very crazy, too.
Eris got kidnapped by some secret agency’s and Kio came to her rescue with a big load of action.
But Eris needed no help at all, she escaped on her own and destroyed a whole tank platoon with a flashy hammer.
The show is a bit like to Love Ru with better graphics.

Highschool of the Dead

One Day Zombie accidents occur around the world.
Im no Zombie nor Horror fan but this show turned out less violent  and disguisting than I expected, so I’m able to watch it.
The show creates a deep and creepy athmosphere after most pupils are eaten and turned into Zombies.
I really liked the scene with Takashi and Rei alone on the rooftop.
In the second episode the first scenes with  Saeko and Shizuka were a bit strange.
Highschool of the Dead is a very promising show the animation quality looks really good.

Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin

In the year 1999 Maya the daughter of  the former headmaster of the academy arrived  to his funeral, because the headmasters dead body was posessed by a demon the funeral turned into a freak show.
Due to the testament of her dad, she became the new headmaster of the academy.
Additional to that a timetraveler named Fumiaki appears to save the world of tomorrow.
Maya the female lead character is very cool and has a strong personality.
She wears a beautiful outfit which is related to the fashion of the 60’s or 70’s.
The show had a very promising start, the animation quality looks very good ,the balance of humor and serious plot is very well done.

Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~

The start turned out a bit more serious than in the first season.
In the first story part we have Benitsubasa who wants to take revenge for getting her ass kicked by Musubi’s alter ego Sekirei #88, furthermore Kazehana who feels more attracted to Minato got more screentime, I like drunken ladys in anime.
As Minato wants meet with his sister in the city he was taken hostage by Benitsubasa.
This scene from episode 2 with phone call was hilarious.
I love Sekirei since the first episode and was really looking forward to this second season.
The likeable Characters and the kind of humor really meet my taste.

Shiki

In a lonely area with a low population some misterious deaths occur.
Megumi is bored from her village and wishes to leave it as soon as possible.
One day she was found in the near forest unconscius, as she awakes her condition is very tarnished and after some days she dies.
In contrary to the dark athmosphere the show looks pretty colorful,the character design is a mix of Code Geass and Gundam00. XD
Shiki creates a nice and mysterious athmosphere.
Without Megumi in the last episode it wasn’t that interesting.
Maybe the show is better suited for marathoning.

Shukufuku no Campanella

Minette is a Automaton who awakes at the night of a meteor shower.
the male lead character Leicester takes her to the clan where he lives with his mostly female companions.
Its  a cute little show with a very cute character design.
The peaceful and happy athmosphere is very relaxing.
So far there wasn’t much story in this show but I’m really enjoying it.

Strike Witches 2

A new mission for the 501st Joint Fighter Wing this time the Neuroi are more powerful than last time.
Putting the flood of pantsu shots aside this is good show with nice interactions between the characters.
I love these propeller sounds of these propelled boots and the big machine guns*rattatat*.
The first action scene after the reunion of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing was awesome.
But I was wondering about the number of pantsu shots they’ve put into that action sequence.
