New Preorders part 10

2012 had just begun and I thought that it is time for a new post about my latest preorders.
From the previous New Preorder part 9 post I’ve already received Nekomura Iroha from Griffon, Shikinami Asuka Langley from Max Factory and in the meantime another order was placed by me. I couldn’t resist the discount at AmiAmi and received the Princess Bitch figure.
Reviews of Nekomura and the ecchi Princess will be published soon.

Ok enough of the old stuff, now up to the following 4 new figures which were ordered recently. Continue reading
Asuka Langley -Test Plug Suit ver by Max Factory

Hi everyone, today I can show you a review about Shikinami Asuka Langley from Max Factory, this figure is scaled 1/6 and has a height of 275m. This Asuka is called Test Plug Suit version because Asuka wore in in the Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. Asuka was released in the middle of December, I’ve ordered her via SAL shipping to save some money, I was actually a bit scared about EMS shipping for a 1/6 scaled figure and so I just received her a few days ago. Idolm@ster – anime review

Idolm@ster is a 25 episode long anime which aired from July to December 2011 it was produced by A1 Pictures and Aniplex. Idolm@ster is an anime adaption of the popular XBox console game with the same title, I never played any of these games, but I was interested in watching the show.
At first I wasn’t sure if a 25 episode long anime show could do justice to the background and personality of each of the 12 (13) idols. But I must say that it worked surprisingly well.

Hi 2012 Goodbye year 2011

No, I won’t commit suicide *zomg* what a weird thing to say in an introduction XD
I just wanted too make a little summary about the things which moved me in this year.
Suzu from Nagasarete Airantou made by Kotobukiya

When already running out of space you shouldn’t order old figures I would say XD
While I was searching for a cover illustration of the Nagasarete Airentou anime, a picture of a cute figure appeared and I was enchanted by her charming appearance and I wanted to see more of her. In the end I bought her on ebay, after I’ve asked the seller to make her cheaper, my price was quite bold, but luckily he accepted it, I wonder if he would have sold her for even less ![]()

Anime Review Zegapain

There are many ways to encounter an anime you’ve never heard of and the way I stumbled over Zegapain was the following, some month ago the figure manufacturer ALTER announced a figure called Ryoko Kaminagi -Resurrection- which will be released in January 2012.
At first I thought it was a rather plain figure showing a guy crossdressing *lol*, but I really wanted to know what Zegapain ought to be? I guessed that it was an anime and typed the title in the seach box of MAL, the description sounded quite interesting and the ratings were good.
I was searching for a new anime anyway and so this show ended in my Plan to watch list.
Zegapain is from the year 2006 and was made by Studio Sunrise, who are well known for their mecha related anime, like Gundam. Zegapain has a different feel to it than their usual kind of show, since it’s more focused on the characters and their emotions than the mecha fights. Continue reading

After part a, here is part b of my anime watchlist from the very good Fallseason of 2011, I don’t watch all these shows at a weekly pace, but when I have time and don’t fall asleep I watch them.
Sorry for the lack of figure reviews in these last few months, but please bear with it a few weeks more, by the end of this month new figures should be released and arrive here soon.
In this post I will talk about Persona 4, Last Exile – Ginyoku no Fam, C³ – Cube x Cursed x Curious, Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers and Shakugan no Shana III Final.

K-ON!! Yui – PM Figure “Windmill” by SEGA

Hi a new figure has finally arrived, after a lot of anime related posts I can present you a new figure review. Today it will be about Hirasawa Yui, she’s a premiun prize figure manufactured by SEGA.
Her origin is the popular anime adaption K-on!!, the slightly airheaded Yui was the unofficial main character in the first season. In this figure adaption she is shown in her official HTT (Happy Tea Time) band t-shirt which she sported at the last performance on the school festival with Mio, Ritsu, Mugi and Azusa in episode 20. Ah that scene afterwards was such a big tearjerker, parting with your schoolmates and previous schoollife can be so sad hard. “stop crying damn wimp” XD
