I know you usually buy yours from japanese shops, but I suggest this: look for some german shops that get their stock from Heo, you could find some reduced-price ones and in a quicker time. On Heo you can look for Hot Deals and DAP, and see if you find the products on the german shop site you would buy from. It might be more expensive, but atleast you won’t worry about border-import taxes.

Yes, sadly Nanachi received a delay again, I didn’t see it coming.
Delays are certainly annoying, since they mess up my figure budget plans completely.
In best case I have to pay for the figure on the day the shop receives it.
Currently I have a problem with the shop Nippon Yasan, they already received my payments, but take a lot of time to prepare my 2 figures for delivery.
It’s the most irritating problem I ever faced with buying figures, I hope it is resolved soon since it is so nerve wrecking.
Ah I see, that is good, it sure has a silly title but I really liked SNAFU a lot, it’s a beautiful anime, at times it’s kind of depressing but it’s very well done.

Do you remember that horror Rem figure I showed you? The one with the psychosis look, the mace and the white kimono with a bas-relief pattern? It arived a few weeks ago and it’s magnificent. She actually has 3 different patterns on her 3 different layers of clothing. And they are all shiny, made from that type of hard, breakable plastic (I think). Furyu has made other statues with that material, here is one of them. If you can, you should try to buy one with this type of kimono, it’s really special. Just a warning, it’s really heavy

Coincidentially, I have the anime sitting next to me, it’s just a question of time when I have the pleasure to watch it.
When you like shows like that, I would really recommend Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru, to you.
It is really ambitious with exploring the thoughts of high school students and it’s great how the sarcastic main character slowly findsfriends. What made me curious about Oresuki at first was the figure haha. But you are absolutely right, the Furyu figure is a lot more interesting and has a more striking appearance. I really like her face and the pantyhose is probably made of mesh which is probably quite nice.

Damn it, I always forget something important.
About the Story, it’s not only surprising and unpredictable, but very engaging. The episodes just fly by and you can’t wait to see the next.
And about the morals and message of the story, it’s about life in general (the self responsibility I mentioned), but specifically it’s about the relationship between the two sexes/genders. Not just in the romantic sense but also in general, in society (atleast that’s how I see it). And the humor feels more…american then strictly japanese (but that might just be my impression).

This is one of the reasons I watch current anime (not just the old good ones). It’s like the writers of these shows, books and videogames are always paying attention to what is happening in the world, and in our societies (especially the japanese one). It’s like they follow all the latest controversies and societal dialogue, to see what is new and what people care about. While I was watching this show, I was thinking about the current debate around topics such as incels, mgtow, herbivore men, thots, golddiggers and the friendzone. What I am trying to say is that the show feels very…in the current times. I guess you could say it’s the meta-narrative at work.

2) CHARACTERS The characters are great and endearing. I’d say that, most of all this story teaches empathy. If ever you are tempted to judge a character, the show hits you in the back of the head, but also it doesn’t excuse any of the actions they take.

3) ANIMATION so-so, but the characters sometimes have interesting and complex movements that you don’t see often in other animes. The animators put in extra effort just to make some scenes more fun to watch. But the graphical style / art style are great.

4) Direction. It’s very good, toward fantastic. You have to pay attention to what you see, there are many symbolic and psychological clues about the people and he direction of the story

I think that’s enough…perhaps I should get an account on MAL or some other review site…not that my input is really needed, there are much better writers then me at reviewing stuff, and there’s too much info and competition on the internet already.

OK OK OK now about the figures!!! Sumireko’s figure here really does represent her well. But I didn’t catch it on preorder because she looks too similar in terms of pose and eroticism to a lot of other figures I have. But I might get the statue that Furyu will produce, even if it’s the “light novel version” in stead of the anime one…it looks better overall- In terms of pose and of clothes. I can’t tell what her stockings will be made of though. What I really like about her design is that her school shirt opens/closes to the side, in stead of the middle…like biker jackets. And also that she actually has a longer skirt the the typical mini-skirt.
