Alter released them in January 2019, it indeed would have been a good Valentines Day post, but I wasn’t happy with the pictures I took last year. This year I created a new set you will hopefully like.

For this review I got myself some help from Otaking, I think having another ones viewpoint of a figure is interesting and Otaking was willing enough to offer is help. As co-author he was quite helpful for me.

First a short hello from him.

Hello internet, I’m Otaking. You might have seen some of my comments on Wieselhead articles in the last months. Fabian invited me to co-write for him, so here I am.

I have this figure myself, but I haven’t taken it out of the box yet. Since the box is made of transparent plastic, I thought I don’t need to open it until I display what’s inside.

Unlike Fabi, I haven’t seen anything from Love Live!. So the first thing I thought upon seeing this product was ”either these girls are lesbians and like each other, or they are going to meet their respective crushes. And the pink-haired one is leading the charge, since the other is shy”. Then I found out how Nico is and I thought ”Tsundere!”.

I’m a big fan of the first Love Live! anime, I didn’t consume the content from other media of this franchise, but I was already happy with what the anime covered, I liked everyone a bit, some more and some less.

One of my instant favorites was Nico, the often grumpy idol expert, that could perform the cutest idol pose. Compared to the other mainly good girls, she was like a little demon, but actually really cared for µ’s and liked their school idol adventure with the others. Her relationship with Maki always has been a little tense.

It appears like Maki and Nico don’t really like eachother, so this figure combination is a little odd to me at least. Maybe in other media or in fanfiction they might find their way to eachother. Anyway that pairing is super popular. To see them as item with yuri goggles and the power of love everything is possible.

In the first place I only bought this figure pair because of Nico, but that doesn’t mean that Maki is unwanted for me. I think this combination of two characters is just so adorable, they are even holding hands oh my gosh.

Both figures were sculpted by the experienced Makio Munetoshi who designed quite a number of beautiful figures. Maki and Nico are scaled 1/7 and measure 21 cm in height.

The cute outfits are based on an UR card from the smartphone game, which I actually never played.

Both wear cute valentines day themed school uniforms, if you look closely enough you’ll notice all the small variations of Maki’s and Nico’s outfit. Nico wears a neckerchief, her blouse reveals her belly, she is wearing thigh highs while Maki has a tie, knee socks and her blazer has different pockets.

The main reason I bought this figure-combo was the oufits. They are not as elaborate as a japanese idol stage-suit, but not as simple as the regular school uniform. They are like a fancy version of the latter. You could almost imagine someone wearing this in reality, and it would still be very flashy – but could still be pulled off.  Here’s a history lesson for you readers – go look for “Mod clothing” and you will find clothing similar to what high-schoolers wear in the typical anime. It might be from where the character designers got the inspiration, other then from the actual japanese uniform.

As Fabi said, the uniforms are different to each other, which is all the better. Nico has a fuku-type shirt/blazer, while Maki has a more traditional european blazer, both with appropriate neck-ties for each. I love the gold loop-trimmings on the edges of the collars sleeves and skirts, they just give the clothes an extra edge of elegance. Since I haven’t opened mine yet, I’m looking at the prototype, and I see that the 2 stripes on the left arms are of different colours, to match each of the girl’s ties. One set is burgundy, the other pink. SO much attention to detail ! Also notice the loafers. They not only have gold soles (to match some of the details on the clothes), but also one heart on the right shoe.

One thing their outfit has in common is the length of their skirts, in this pose they are somewhat risky lol.

One last thing … I don’t know what kind of underwear they have on ! I still have that surprise waiting for me when I open the box !

Anyway the burgundy red skirts have a pleated design and the golden lining is especially nicely done, Nico’s skirt says Happy Valentines and has a heart at the top, the level of craftsmanship is quite impressive.

It’s amusing how Nico looks all shy and flustered, while Maki appears chilled and relaxed. I like how it look like they want to hand over choco to their owner, in this case me.

As you probably noticed both girls have different kinds Valentine’s gifts, Nico has probably self made cookies and sweets in a transparent bag and Maki bought some fancy chocolate.

I really like the candy bag Nico is carrying. It looks really well made and detailed. I wonder if the material is rubber or plastic? It’s great how they inserted all those different sweets inside!

Nico turned out especially her short petite body is adorable, her thighs appear slightly plump and squeezed, combined with the thigh highs Nico’s legs look indeed very attractive.

Both stand on one big heart as base, the golden letters and glossy finish give it a high quality appearance. Of course you could only place one of the girls on the base, but when you would have so much dislike for either Maki or Nico, you should better buy a different figure.

Overall, I simply have one complain and that is about Maki, to me her winking eye is on the wrong side, especially for the light setting it is very difficult when the open eye is in the dark corner, they followed the illustration, but it would be much better when they hadn’t.

Final Words

Without a doubt ALTER’s Love Live! School Idol Festival – Valentine Hen figure pairing of Nishikino Maki and Yazawa Nico is a beautiful figure combination. They look like the anime characters or perhaps even nicer. Their outfits look great and everything is especially detailed. The cream white and dark red colors are a perfect color harmony that nicely match with the Valentines theme. It was a somewhat expensive purchase, but for the ~ 20.800 Yen you receive 2 beautiful figures from the Love Live! franchise in an enchanting holding hands pose.

Overall one of my favorite figures from my collection that have street-smart clothes.

Today I will show you the figure of Kaname Madoka – Mahou Shoujo Madoka ☆ Magica Gaiden made by Stronger and distributed by Aniplex, you could have bought this figure bundled with Tamaki Iroha, but I just wanted Madoka.

Ah Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica, the surprise hit and little disturbing anime about magical girl Madoka and her friends with mental issues from 2011. The latest figure I received was Miki Sayaka from GSC in 2012.

Obviously, her face is damn cute. Without the hatching the eye design from the game is different than from the anime. The difference is not really obvious, anyway the big sparkly eyes make the figure appear quite adorable and lively.

This figure is based on the side story Mahou Shoujo Madoka ☆ Magica Gaiden, a smartphone RPG, an anime adaptation of that will follow in January, 2020.

I admit that the Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 3: Hangyaku no Monogatari left me in despair and confusion. But when I saw this cute adaptation of the Kaname Madoka character I didn’t have to think twice, about ordering.

Kaname Madoka was released in August 2019, she has been sculpted by Miyajima Katsuyoshi. She is scaled 1/8 and measures adorable 20 cm. Somehow I expected to be a little bigger, but that is ok.

I think that figure is beautiful and sweet no matter from where you look, inside the box you will find the figure, a base, a bow and an exchangeable left hand for displaying the figure without bow.

There we have Madoka with her usual hairstyle, the pigtails decorated with big dark pink colored ribbons, the different shade of pink at the tips creates more depth and makes the magical girl look quite fashionable.

Her outfit is as girly as a magical girl outfit can be , without sounding sarcastic it feels like a mix of wedding cake with lots of frills and pink. She wears a red collar around her neck. I really like the corsage with short puffy sleeves, the yellow and pink colors are quite charming as well as the frilly seam lines and the tiny pink buttons.

Bare skin is shown at her arms, the upper chest and at her back. At the backside is a heart shaped cutout. Gosh everything is just so cute. The small figure actually has beautiful knees highlighted by the frilly socks. the shoes are very red and very glossy. The contrast to the matte colors is quite nice.

The most obvious part of her outfit is the voluminous skirt, the pink top layer looks very appealing with the red rim and the tiny pattern at the tips. She wears white gloves, their design again seems to be based on flower petals.

As already mentioned she has a hand for holding her bow and a different hand for the option to display her without it. With the leafs and rose on top, the bow looks quite a lot like a natural stick, except for the gems attached to it, a nice looking detail is the string at the bow. Madoka’s right hands index finger indicates that she could stretch the bow string, but I don’t want to break something.

Final Words

Kaname Madoka – Mahou Shoujo Madoka ☆ Magica Gaiden from Stronger is a wonderful figure where the cuteness doesn’t stop. Her cute face is extremely adorable and the outfit is stunning with all details and overall design. the arched back is a bit extreme, but aside from that the figure is flawless in regards of colors and sculpting quality, looking at this enchanting figure makes me happy.

I actually always had the wish to have a figure of Misanee and this adaptation really caught my interest.

The figure was manufactured by Ques Q and released in July 2019. The Suzuhara Misa – Bunny Girl Style
version is scaled 1/7 and measures 27 cm. The beautiful figure has been sculpted by Busujima Takamaki.

The Suzuhara Misa character is from the all so popular Zettai Junpaku ♡ Mahou Shoujo, the doujinshi from Raita, where they actually only have sex all the time and in between. Well, at least the distinctive character design is quite great.

A few weeks ago I saw her at figurephoto 2 where the author put up really beautiful pictures of the figure, I knew that I really had to get this, I’ve learned that the Suzuhara Misa – Bunny Girl Style – Event Limited Elegant Black version would only be sold on the past Wonderfestival, but I didn’t give up and found a few offers for her on Buyee.

But they were that expensive that I decided to decide whether to get or not on the next day.
Although the next day she suddenly appeared on Ami Ami, where I bought her in the end.

Misa has nice and long hair painted in a purple blue tone, the strand crossing the face is a nice addition to her facial expression. Compared with the rest of her body this figure has a rather small head, still I’m quite impressed by how beautiful and detailed her face is. Especially when taking a closer look you will see all the lovely details of her extremely beautiful eyes, the pretty make up and the nicely sculpted mouth. Her facial expression conveys a sense of vulnerability and embarrassment, it’s quite adorable, she doesn’t look too happy although also not pityful.

Maybe serving drinks in a bunnysuit just isn’t her favorite activity, but she looks gorgeous when doing it.

As the name already implied the elegant black version is quite elegant looking on Misa.
The black bunnysuit in combination with the dark pantyhose and high heels and the smaller details of the costume, like the choker around her neck, the frilly ribbon around her upper arm and the wristbands with golden painted buttons.

Apparently this figure adaptation shows Misa in a typical bunny based on one of the doujinshi covers, she is shown to be quite a bit embarrassed about wearing such an outfit and serving drinks. You just have to like Misa with her mesmerizing and lovely unrealistic proportions, she has big boobs, is tall, has amazingly long legs and wide hips.

Ques Q no ecchi desu ka? The figures looks quite a bit ecchi with her really large breasts and nicely painted nipples and Ques Q did a really good job with the body sculpting in general and also the nudity, without knowing in advance I would have never guessed that this is a figure made by Ques Q. I bought my last figure in…

Well, yes it’s really been while. Not only was I shocked that the figure from 2019 turned out to be strikingly beautiful, but no, she is also castoffable. The figure has exchangeable bunny suit boob covers, 6 parts can be freely arranged. There are three default presets, the figures boobs covered, nipples revealed or the boob covers hanging down.

Final Words

I’m quite impressed with the Suzuhara Misa – Bunny Girl Style – Event Limited Elegant Black version figure. Everything about her is just really well made, especially her beautiful face with the coy expression is a real highlight in my opinion. Her black bunny suit looks appealing, also the expressive pose is a interesting part. Overall that figure is a really nice concept. The figure also has nice ecchi bits and a good partial castoff option, the manufacturer could have just sold her as dressed figure, but a lot of thought have been given to add the castoff option as well.

Sculpting and paint are really good as well. In short this figure is a masterpiece.

I’m quite happy to see a character from illustrator Houtengeki adapted into a figure, the illustrator specializes in portraying young women with curvy bodies that often have a fantasy theme incorporated. Bastet is an egyptian goddess and the design is following this theme in a sexy fashion. The figure was sculpted by Mikami Hirohito.

Bastet was manufactured by Pulchra. Yes, to me it was a big surprise that Pulchra announced this beautiful figure, I took the gamble of preordering the figure, but not without worries about the final outcome of the figure. The figure was released in July 2019, unfortunately I accidentally chose unregistered Airmail for shipping and so I had to wait for some weeks for her to arrive. The figure is scaled 1/6 and measures in her compact pose she still is 19,5 cm in height.

Bastet was the goddess of fertility and pregnancy and described as having the body of a woman and the head of a cat, see what anime culture made of it.

The figure has pitch black hair with cat ears. The shoulder long hair and the a little wild hairstyle looks attractive. Its level of detail is wonderful and the matte finish is nice, aside from a few highlights in the ears it’s solid black. The face combines a youthful and attractive look with a few aspects of a predator, the pink eyes give her a slightly intimidating aura. The figure has nice facial features and a cheerful and amused expression, the showing teeth are carefully applied and I like her cute nose. Overall the expression is nicely balanced and portrays Bastet as confident young woman.

The promotional pictures showed Bastet with milky brown skin. The final figure now has a heavy tan with a mix of brown and terracotta, an unusual sight with the majority of figures on the market having white pinky skin, but after looking at the figure on my desk for several days I think it’s a beautiful exotic skintone, that is pleasing to the eye.

The figure is quite curvy with beautiful proportions and alluring backside, but also looks well trained with her overall appearance, the young folks would call her thicc. I think that the figures bodysculpting is just great, I also really have a soft spot for wide womanly hips that the figure proudly shows it’s also a quite emphasized by the pose.
She has a slender upper body with some nicely shaped boobs, the thin waist creates a great contrast to the hips and the nice big butt. There are also very nice and juicy thighs that make the figure even more attractive.

The figure reminds me of some oversexed 90’s hip hop music videos, also with this squatting pose and the round bottom. Her articulation is dynamic, Bastet is posed in a deep squat so that her butt is close the the floor, how naughty, on the other hand it’s cute how her face is looking backwards over her shoulder.

The outfit combines elements of the ancient egypt and bikini fashion. The single big earning in the left ear looks bodacious. Bastet wears a glamorous collar that consists of gold, blue and black colors. At the wrists she has golden bracelets, each of them shows a detailed engraved pattern. The fingers of the figure are very pretty with their nice pastel pink colors, in her right hand she is holding a short staff with a symbolized eye of Ra as head.

Around her left thigh she also has black ribbon with buckle, that accentuates the soft appearance.

The bikini top and bottom consists of black strings with golden colored buckles that hold the light grey cloth parts together. Apparently the goddess is wearing a thong, a good choice considering that she should not hide that nice bottom unnecessarily. The golden leg decoration is not attached to the golden high heels.

Final Words

The figures looks simply amazing, a great adaptation of the Houtengeki illustration, be it her lively face or the attractive round body. I never had thought Pulchra could perform that level of high quality sculpting, all the small and bigger parts show a lot of precision and attention to detail, the paintjob is flawless also in the smaller areas.

Nanami Aoi has been released in June 2019, she is scaled 1/6 and measures 290mm. She has been adapted from an artwork of illustrator momi and sculpted by Hocke. She was manufactured by Rocket Boy and distributed by Native.

I’m a fan of Rocket Boy since their first figure, Chitose in 2016. The illustrated characters they chose for figure adaptations are often very cute and aren’t presented in a too lewd context.

The body sculpting is simply perfect in every regard, the skin a light glossy finish, it’s really not too glossy it tries recreating the look of sunscreen, sweat and water.

It’s been a while that I received an ero figure and to be honest I missed to take pictures of pretty and nude figures.

I like this figure a lot, the idea with her climbing up the pool ladder as base is great. In her standing pose she has an impressive size. The figure is so beautiful the body is quite stunning and the articulation of her pose is quite nice.

She has long dark blue hair, there is a detailed front hair with very fine strands, the longer hairat the back is separated into several strands of varying thickness, the longer strands tips are touching her butt. As hair decoration there is a check patterned yellow ribbon and a silver clip.

The figures face, boobs and butt can all be viewed at the same time, the figures gaze is directed behind her with her expressive amber colored eyes, she creates a feeling of shyness and seduction while still being somehow mysterious.

The face has been sculpted and painted with attention to detail, the eyes are very pretty and there is some blush applied on her cheeks and also a bright reflection point. From a few angles her rather nervous looking mouth turns into a friendly smile which is quite interesting.

Optionally she can either be displayed with half downed swimsuit or nude with high heels. I my opinion it would be a crime to cover such a nicely shaped butt, so I didn’t bother to take pictures of her half dressed alternative body.

Her boobs have an above average size, but not on the too big side, it’s a completely different story with her backside, the figure has really wide hips and a really big butt and I really, really like that asspect of Nanami Aoi.

There are those metallic colored rings at the arms and legs that cover the separation gaps that are necessary for the body swapping process. I really like the naturally nude appearance of the figure. It is only a little unfortunate about those few parts that are distracting the clean look of the figure.

The Nanami Aoi figure has a beautiful female body, everything looks nice and smooth, the gentitals are visible but not in a lewd way, it’s simply there and that is good

I also don’t know why the girl is wearing high heels at the pool.

Final Words

Nanami Aoi has the best butt ever seen on a figure, the sculptor did a really great job with this and also everything else about this figure. Her face is lovely, she also has a creative base, a really nice pose and just looks fantastic overall.

This figure has been released earlier in 2018, I didn’t know who she was, but I really liked the concept with a cute girl carrying a huge flag, it’s totally adorable, isn’t it ^^. She was sold as limited figure on Animaru.

Fortunately I spotted her again in the November bargain bin of Hobby Search for a good price

Karasuma Chitose was manufactured by Stronger and released in July 2018. She has been sculped by the skilled Itandi. The figure has been listed as 1/8 and measures 200m in height without flag.

The figure is based on the style of Ohara Tometa and therefore looks especially sweet, but her real origin is the manga and recently aired anime Girlish Number. I watched it after I had received the figure.

In this story Karasuma Chitose is a fresh anime voice actress with a questionable personality, which has been a little shock considering the cute appearance of the character.

She gets a leading role in a mediocre anime that gets a second season later. The show was funny, but also strange, it had a lot of sarcasm about the anime industry.

She has a very pretty head, the face of the figure is very detailed and gives Chitose a lively look.
She is such a cute figure, her open mouth is nicely sculpted and her the super detailed eye decals are fantastic.

Like in the anime the characters hair has a brown to purple gradient, the strands and hairstyle are very pretty and is decorated with a prussian blue Alice band quick and a sunflower.

In the show Chitose was always wearing the same clothes, but this figure adaptation shows a very nice outfit.
I really like the happy and summerly direction of her outfits coordinate, a bit of an maritime design.

She is equipped with a blue striped tank top and a white shoulderfree shirt over it.
At her lower half she is wearing a beautiful, frilly 5 layered skirt in an appealing prussian blue color.

The lacy ribbon with the sunflower attached to it, is a very nice detail. At her feet she has red socks and white sneakers. The base is a simple white disc, but that doesn’t hinder the figures appeal. The figure reveals a bit of skin thanks to her breezy outfit without being too daring, although at the backside her skirt is a bit short :D.

Chitose holds a flag pole with both hands, the flag attached to it is nearly as big as the figure, unfortunately I can’t tell you what is written on it.

Final Words

I’m very happy about this figure purchase. The figures quality is quite excellent and Karasuma Chitose looks so adorable, all the details of her face bring the figure to life. The character design has been adapted very well, the figure looks like the anime counterpart, although you can’t notice Chitose rotten personality at all haha. I also like her cheerful and light outfit, everything looks great I’m a big fan of the colors and stronger use of shading.

 Momose Asuma was manufactured by A+, a company known for making curvy figures with big assests.
The figure was sculpted by Ryuusuke, she is scaled 1/6 and measures 29cm in height. She stands on a clear, nearly 1cm thick acrylic base, I’ve never seen a sturdy base like that, but it supports the figure very well and looks nice.

The release date was in late December 2018, I ordered the figure shortly before the release, the updated pictures on AmiAmi were quite appealing and I couldn’t resist to order this charming figure. 

Obviously, Momose Asuka has huge boobies, I probably never bought a figure that busty before, but I liked the overall concept of it.  Her body is overall a bit more of the curvy side and gives the womanly figure a soft appearance.

This figure has an exchangeable torso with arm, a necklace and a key. In the official pictures it was shown that the figure could hold the key in her mouth, but I couldn’t recreate that, there was no explanation in the manual sheet.  

The figure wears a nice flirty expression on her round face, what I especially like is the interesting shape of her lips and the soft look of her facial features. Her eyes could have been really nice, but the eye decals unfortunately lack a bit of contrast for some reason, it’s only obvious on the pc screen though, but otherwise I like her sweet face a lot.

The dark purple hair is great, especially at the fringe, the deeply carved strands look quite lively. At the back she has a very long ponytail sculpted in a dynamic way. The hair is decorated with a simple red ribbon, at the side is a big ribbon with a red to yellow gradient effect, surely it could have been applied with more precision, but it’s a cute addition to the pretty hair. I like to see decorative objects on womens hair and in anime it’s a must have for a pretty girl anyway.

Around the neck she wears a red choker with a golden pendant attached to it, additionally you can put a necklace with a big golden heart around her neck. The figures outfit is a shiny, tight pink bikini with flip flops sandals.

The dressed display option is actually more lewd than the topless one, her bikini top, which is several sizes too small has problems to hold all of Momose Asuka’s amount of breasts, sideboobs everywhere, altthough the way her bikini top digs into her soft skin is hot. The bikini bottom though is the right size and highlights the figures nice round butt.

The second display option not only shows bare boobs, it also changes the whole pose of the figures upper body.
There she has an arched back and shows her, nicely sculpted sexy armpits. Putting the size aside, the figures boobs have a beautiful shape and with the slightly elevated areola and nipples are also very appealing. I like the proportions of Momose san, she is a very pretty lady. She has a slight belly, wide hips with a perfect round butt and plump thighs.

One could complain that the boobs are way too big, but it’s simply recreates the style of illustrator Goban (ごばん) .

Final words

Momose Asuka is a charming figures in a summerly bikini outfit. I’m a fan of her round and attractive face with an interestingly designed mouth. The figure has a nice big size, her dynamite body is very appealing and I like this certain level of chubbiness. In my opinion her breasts could be a little smaller, although they are nicely shaped. For friends of huge boobies this would probably be a good choice. In the dressed display option it’s sexy how the skimpy bikini top digs into skin. It’s great that the figure comes with an alternative torso that not only adds nudity, it also changes the figures pose a lot. I prefer the half nude look.

Of course the figure from A+ doesn’t have the same quality as an Alter figure, but it’s more than acceptable, the sculpting looks great and the figure has some really nice details. There are also a few not so good things about her, but for me the biggest weakness of the figure is the not very sharp eye decal. As little warning her hair can cause paint transfer, a general problem with dark purple paint on figures. In my opinion it’s a very good figure of a very curvy lady.

This figure of Katsuragi Misato was manufactured by Union Creative, she has been released by the end of November 2018. The figure was adapted after an illustration from the Neon Genesis Evangelion calendar 2015. The sculptor isn’t mentioned and also not the scale, but the figure measures 18 cm in height, I would guess that she is scaled 1/7.

…while it’s more common to pick Asuka or Rei as favorite, it has always been Misato for me.

As captain and commander of the EVA pilots at NERV she is doing a very good job and appears very capable.
In her freetime Misato drops the serious and determined act and actually is a cheerful and upbeat person with a likeable personality. Of course everyone in Neon Genesis Evangelion has his own share of problems and so does Misato, but it doesn’t get in the way of her daily life.

She is the Onee san type who tried her best with taking care of the mentally conspicuous EVA pilots, Shinji and Asuka as commander and as well as legal guardian. After a while she develops feelings for Shinji, yes those kinds of feelings.

While I can’t say that I liked anything about End of Evangelion itself “this was an adult kiss… we do the rest later, when you come back” was a great scene. Isn’t it really too much to ask for a happy end later!?

The Neon Genesis Evangelion anime show means a lot to me. It was the first “real” anime I’ve ever watched, I discovered it when I was a little depressed, things at school weren’t going well and everything appeared a bit bleak overall. While especially this show isn’t portraying a positive world, I really enjoyed watching NGE and it honestly made me feel better. It influenced me a lot and paved the way for my late but still lasting excitement for anime.

In the year 2007 the NGE franchise was brought back to live again with a series of movies that retell the story and lead it into a new direction, starting with Evangelion: 1.01, which I really enjoyed. The following movies were Evangelion: 2.0 and Evangelion: 3.0, the latest one was a bit strange and needs getting used to. The last part Evangelion: 4.0 is scheduled for 2020.

The figure mainly follows the illustration face appears to be more based on the original NGE character design from Yoshiyuki Sadamoto with the pointy nose. Misato wears a cute innocent expression with small almond shaped eyes and a small mouth. A few angles doesn’t flatter her face very much, but overall this Misato has a good looking face.

The hair looks indeed beautiful, it’s nicely sculpted and a has a nice shade of black and blue. Especially the curly back of her long hair looks great. Around her neck Misato wear her necklace with the big silver cross that she

Without a doubt this figure has a fanservice oriented design, partially she wears her working uniform, jacket and pencil skirt, albeit combined with an attractive black bikini. The coolest part is her red leather jacket, the wrinkles and shading create a great used look. The opened and pulled down skirt also looks nicely detailed with it’s silver button.

I have no clue why Misato is presented in such a way, but I can’t deny that her pose looks really cool. I like how one of her pumps is hanging down from her carefully sculpted fingers, in the other hand she holds a detailed gun. Her feets are very detailed with the separately sculpted toes and their articulation.

The figures tilted hips and arched back accentuate her petite, but beautiful body with modest although quite nicely shaped boobs and a quite attractive butt. You really notice that Katsuragi Misato is based on a 90’s anime, her body is attractive and portrays the proportions of a slender japanese woman in a realistic way. If Neon Genesis Evangelion would have been invented a decade later we would probably have a more curvy Misato today.

Final Words

Overall I like this figure a lot, beginning with her nicely articulated and interesting pose and the nice looking outfit in addition to the attractive body. The face didn’t exactly turn out like the prototype implied, but it’s still more than presentable. According to Misato’s backstory there should be a scar somewhere around her chest, on the figure it’s not present though. The sculpting and paint on my copy is nearly flawless, there is only one small white line at the right corner on the back of her bikini’s bottom. In my opinion this adaption of Katsuragi Misato looks good and also with a few imperfections she is a nearly great figure.
