Today, we will take a look on the latest figures that popped up at the shops recently. It has been a while since the last “New Preorders” post, I totally forgot it to be honest. It feels like prices for our precious figures climbed even more in the meantime , the Dollfie/BJD hobby I recently got more interested in is not so much more expensive, anymore.

 Ordered Items

Even though I struggled with Preorder decisions, there still were figures I considered convincing. Strangely two are ecchi and exclusive, I hope the manufacturers will show their figures from the past Wonderfestival soon, so that my preorder roadmap looks less ecchi.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata – Eriri Spencer Sawamura

In the end I’ve betrayed Utaha senpei with Eriri ;D I just ordered this figure of Eriri, I love her expression and the detailed paintjob. And when you can take off the jacket, she just gets more beautiful, it’so nice how the shirt accentuates her petite body and she has good thighs.

Original Character – Kankoshi Momoi – simple version

There where 2 versions, one with gynaecological chair for around 17.000 Yen and one with a beanbag for 12.000 Yen, since I was mainly interested in the figure I decided for the simple version. I like these design of the nurse, she is very pretty and I’m enchanted by the playful expression. The figure has pretty bare boobs, I’m ok with displaying figures this way haha.

Asmodeus – Maou Mokushiroku – Koori Shiri Ice Cream no Bushi

The third run of the 7  Deadly Sins is more interesting to me, the bigger 1/7 scale brings out the characterdesign even more, be it the pretty demon girl faces or the attractive bodies, but also the poses appear more dynamic. I already ordered the Leviathan – Maou Mokushiroku figure and now Asmodeus. I like the creative idea of a figure lying around in a tasty sundae.
Asmodeus looks super hot with the boots and her prominent butt and I like these fine hair strands and the face. Please don’t mind this bizarre ice on a stick, I guess it’s removable.

Kantai Collection – Yuudachi Kai Ni – Parfom –

Yuudachi is the prettiest Destroyer girl and this action figure caught my interest. This 14cm deformed styled figure is called Parform, it’s a poseable figure with many interchangeable parts and three faces. The figure looks really pretty and the posing options are probably fun.

Hyakka Ryoran – Matabei Goto Kenki Ver.

I was watching this figure since some time, it’s a interesting somehow cute figure, the pose is fun when Matabei is carrying an oversized brush. It’s her Master Samurai appearance and the brush is actually a spear. The pose is also nice because you can admire her great looking butt and her cute sulking face expression at the same time, maybe thats also the reason for her sulking. Matabei appears older than her Samurai Girl friends, at least she has a sturdier frame. Her butt has a good size from time to time I like a bit more butt in my figure collection.

Captain Earth – Hana Mutou

I already mentioned that I’m a big fan of Captain Earth, I already received a figure of the Villain Moco. Hana is a good girl with a strong tan and beautiful blue eyes. She is without a doubt a pretty girl an her simple dress underlines her innocent nature.

Kantai Collection – Tatsuta

Ques Q turned the two sisters into appealing figures based on the official art, both sisters are somewhat dangerous, Tatsuta is a charming yandere in an elegant outfit. She looks really pretty, the black cutout dress nicely accentuates her chest covered with a white shirt.

Kantai Collection – Tenryuu

Tenryuu is the more aggressive, intimidating, tomboyish sister, her design is more all out, but her outfit is also quite appealing, personally I prefer Tenryuu a little bit, she is just so cool.

Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [LocoDol] Yattemita. – Yui Mikoze

Without knowing the origin I think the concept is pretty funny. The sporty, curvy girl watching you from inside the mascot costume. You’ll also have secondary option to display, after her mascot job is over. The sweaty look is somehow cute and her stretchy sport dress is sexy.

Fire Girl – Homura Hinooka Swimsuit style

The first time I saw this figure, I really liked her colors and the face, she’s a simple yet also stylish swimsuit figure. She’s pretty, but still I think she needs more volume around her thighs.

Maid-san to Boin Damashii – Mikage Kuroki

Sexy meido incoming. This is a really good looking figure especially with glasses she’s such a hottie. Her body is nice, also with a lovely backside with smaller boobs that would still be a wonderful figure, though FREEing made her ultra busty, which is not everybodies cup of tea.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU 2 – Yukino Yukinoshita

Kotobukiya makes the best promo pictures for their figures, Yukino looks great with her pale skin and moon blue eyes. The expressive pose with her sitting on the chair also adds a lot to her appeal. She’s cool, beautiful and wears a nice uniform, black hair is always win.

Maken-Ki! – Aki Nijou

I like the cuddly girls of Maken-Ki! I was super surprised as preorders opened last week, in general Orchid Seed takes longer to paint their prototypes. Aki sensei is the cute doctor, I wanna pinch her cheeks (these in her face, ok) I like her face, hair and  alluring presentation.
In the anime she is refered to as K cup, I’m not sure if the figure really has that proportions.

Grisaia no Kajitsu – Yumiko Sakaki

Yumiko the tsundere heroine from Grisai, coincidentially I played the Game not long ago and had fun with her arc. Her sweet side makes her really adorable. In her bashful pose and cute bunnysuit she also looks great. Holding a giant carrot makes it an even cuter figure.

Although I’m mainly a collector of attractive Bishoujo figures, Nendoroids always have a place in my heart, my last purchase was Takamachi Nanoha – Nendoroid #263 , recently two other for me very appealing Nendoroids were announced.

Nendoroid – Love Live!: Kotori Minami Training Outfit Ver.

I like the training outfits much more, since they don’t look like carnival XD Every girl comes in an unique outfit with a special character specific item. So far I like the Kotori Nendoroid the most, even though I have other Top 3 characters, she’s just too cute.

Nendoroid – Kantai Collection -Kan Colle- Oyodo

The is something I really like about this Oyodo Nendoroid, maybe it’s the hairstyle in combination with the black color, the glasses or the cheeky face. Either way she really comes with a load of useful accesories next to her already huge “backpack”.

So apparently that were all the things I was interested in, maybe you liked a few of them, too. Or did you discover different figures recently that might have triggered your interest?

Amane is one of the heroines of Grisaia no Kajitsu, a popular visual novel, I reviewed in a previous post. The figure was manufactured by Kotobukiya and released in February 2015.

As this figure was announced I considered to get it, but other things came up and prevented a preorder. Several weeks later, after release this nice figure was available with a discount. Since my orders were delayed and I badly wanted to receive a new figure, I chose Amane.

Kotobukiya’s Amane is scaled 1/6 with 25,5 cm and a slightly sturdier appearance, she has a nice look and presence. I remember the times where I thought 1/6 is too big, nowadays it’s different. First of all it’s a great scale to present a figures detail and sculpting qualities.

In the Visual Novel Amane is often refered to as “big girl” her appearance is a little buxom compared to others, she’s the flirty Onee – chan type with many waifu qualities.

Visual Novel character designs are often sparkly and have really pretty bishoujo ladies. The figure is very close the game design from the beautiful blue eyes to the shape of her head. Her joyful expression is lovely, with lively eyes, an open mouth and the right amount of blush.

The figure stands on one leg, on a sand texture base, it’s around 1 cm high. It rarely happens these days, but Amane is screwed on her base. I guess it saves some time to do it that way, since you don’t have to think about pegs, balance or stability.

The body sculpting is very good and clean on this Amane figure, as mentioned earlier she is a buxom girl. So she shows a nice, attractive body. Ample boobs, wide hips, also sturdy limbs and big hands are part of her body. The clean appearance give her skin a soft, cuddly look.

Amane has a rather complex pose, since she is captured during running while looking over her shoulder and holding a water hose. It looks cute, lively and dynamic and give this bikini figure some unique appeal.

I like that Amane is a dynamic figure, her pose is quite cute when she’s running around with the water hose trying to make people wet. That looks interesting even though it appears dangerous with the hose around her leg. nevertheless her smile is enchanting, she looks like having a blast.

Kotobukiya decided to produce her as bikini figure, she was wearing this one during a happy class excursion with her friends. It’s a slightly pinkish – white model with a cute frilly collar and a ribbon at the front, her bottom part also follows this style. For bikini standards the top is still quite revealing with sideboob, underboob and such things, she looks a little excited, too ;D.

The hose consist of two pieces, the piece in her hand is already fixed, you only attach the longer part and the water fountain, it looks rather convincing with it’s detailed texture.

You just take the figure out of the box and assemble the water hose and voila!

Also the hair is something very good about this figure and Kotobukiya put some effort in making the distinctive hairstyle pretty and detailed in the final figure, these strands at the back are great. The hair has a pinkish, purple color and the tips are translucent pink.

Final Words

Amane is a very nice, attractive figure, I like the character and Kotobukiya did a great job in turning her into a figure with all the important traits and level of detail over the whole figure. Kotobukiya made her rather sexy in accentuating her cleavage from several angles with the help of this skimpy bikini top. That aside I like her slightly buxom appearance and the body sculpting is very well done, also the 1/6 scale suits this figure nicely.

I adressed the issues of a different skintexture in my last two Kotobukiya figure reviews, coincidentially Amane has the regular fully opaque texture and I’m delighted about that. Although I don’t really understand these variations from the same manufacturer.

Well, that should it be for this figure review, as said Amane is a lovely figure and I’m glad that I did order her in the end.

Today is a first, since I will talk about Grisaia no Kajitsu a VN from 2010, made by Frontwing,  who got an anime adaption recently, but this was a bit rushed and strange, like most 12/13 episode long VN adaptions, it only showed a glimpse of this awesome game.

A VN is a visual novel, pictures and text are combined into a game. Choosing different answers and sometimes minigames decide about the route the player takes. One route is often dedicated to a certain girl which was introduced during the intro phase.

I npticed the VN, as it was mentioned by fellow blogger and twitter buddy Kai.

Until then I mainly played older VN’s from before 2010, Grisaia is newer and literally made me jawdrop as I saw the elaborate opening. The artwork is pretty much top notch, also in dialog mode everything is a feast for the eye. All artworks are illustrated by Shū Hirose.

best girl (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡

In Grisaia no Kajitsu we take the role of Kazami Yuuji, a boy with a twisted past and a military background, compared to other VN heroes, he has more depth, through certain philosophical monolouges we learn quite a lot about him, he’s quite eccentric and shows a twisted humor. His smartass act in the beginning is slightly annoying at times, but I got used to it fast.

Due to special circumstances Yuuji Kazami transfers to Mihama Academy, to finallly start a normal school life. It turns out that this school is only partially normal it’s a special school for teenagers with special circumstances. Next to Kazami there are only five female students enrolled. The game has a ridiculous long intro, though I love this part about the game, we slowly get to know each girl before making crucial decisions wrapped up in humoristic communications and highschool life comedy, the chemistry between all characters is very well done and entertaining and we follow Kazami through a quite nice school environment.

these chibi scenes are hilarious

Actually there are five main plot lines that the player will have the chance to experience, one for each heroine. Everyone of these lovely girls appear very normal at first look except Michiru XD, nevertheless every girl has psychologic issues that we discover in each route.

The writer of this story took great care to make these issues comprehensible for the audience, though the backstories often feel a bit extreme, heartwrenching and disturbing, don’t worry no one gets raped or physically tormented, their scars are all on a psychologic base.

Every route is diversified and shows us something new, though some routes are more outstanding than others. The most tantalizing routes are Makina’s and Amane’s. Yumiko’s, Sachi’s and Michiru’s routes are more something for the heart. Kazami often takes the role of the narrator, but sometimes the narrative perspective is switched to one of the girls.

In the route of Makina we learn a lot about military, self defence and the scary pontential of japanese comglomerates and how to have a foul mouth. Makina is the loli type, cute, mishievous and full of energy, I love the way she laughs.

The route of Amane shows us what happens when humans find themself in extreme situations Amane is a naughty girl, but also a very sincere person, taking care of others is a habit of her. This route also considering the end was my favorite.

In the route of Yumiko we learn how bad a family can be, even when they are rich. Yumiko is a stoic person that always tries to keep her distance from others. It’s a cute arc actually.

The Sachi route shows what happens when you don’t listen to your parents, this was the most shocking arc for me, I was like “Nooo, what just happened!” It also has a touching route. Sachi always dresses as maid and enjoys to make errands and maid like things with a smile.

The route of Michiru is a bit mixed up many things were happening. Michiru always acts somewhat silly and dumb, anyway she is among my favorite characters of the game, her outfit is always really chic and she’s a really sweet, cuddly girl.

The VN obviously has ero scenes, but you will have to play a lot more until you see them. It actually aren’t that many scenes, but they often have a two round pattern.
Sometimes it felt a bit unnecessary, maybe the author wanted to brag about his stamina XD

Every girl also has an optional bad ending, when you make a wrong choice, I played two of them, but they were quite scary and disturbing, The Good End stories are already sad enough.

Pro

– Illustration style, character design, simply beautiful
– OST is just great
– great comedy
– elaborate long routes
– a capable alter ego
– characters, all heroines are enchanting

Cons

– No route about princibal Tachibana, for me it was love on first sight, but you can only date the schoolgirls.

– After playing all routes the sex scenes get a bit annoying with the same sound effects.
It was always the same patten with Kazami’s sadistic teasing and the girls getting flustered.

I enjoyed this big budget VN a lot, might be easily my most favorite one until now. Visual appeal and an elaborate plot go hand in hand. I consider the long routes as something very positive, even though it took me 1 and a half year to finish all the routes, (I have to admit that I took a few longer breaks ^^) The deep atmosphere in this whole Visual Novel is a great experience.

Another good thing of Grisaia no Kajitsu is that with the phylosphic and psychologic elements you can learn something about yourself.

September was quite a crazy month, so many delayed items one after another, I had to edit my Preorder Roadmap around 6 times. Now October is a whole mess, but I believe in more delays.

 I-168 – Chuuha ver.

Haha, I was impatiently waiting for preordering my Kancolle waifu, she’s among my top favorite characters in the game. Max Factory did a great job with her damaged state and the cute details like inflatable tube and the simple sandals. I – 168 is so sweet with her embarassed expression an her body looks great. It’s nice to see her in a shiny swimsuit and how it adds some contrast.

Taimanin Asagi – Igawa Asagi

I really considered about ordering this attractive Ninja woman back and forth, as she was delayed to October I hit the button. Except Asagi, October was ought to be free of preorders, but it never goes as planned in the figure collectors world. You would actually think that a character from really naughty Hentai game, would get a really naughty figure, but her convincing curves aside she is presented as cool looking action heroine. My additional reasons for ordering are her really lovely face, the purple suit and her very promising promo pictures.

Comic Market – Event Staff Onna no Ko

Wing constantly increased their reputation as figure manufacturer and they became rather lively in announcing new figures. Back then there was this lovely official Comic Market mascot illustration, two Wonderfestivals ago it was announced that Wing would turn it into a figure, as soon as I got the news, I was really happy about that. I have to say that this adaption turned out very well, they captured both, the sex appeal and cuteness of the mascot and she looks gorgeous.  Nice hair, a sweet face with glasses, the pose and an odd, but pretty choice of outfit turn her into something really nice. She is also a big scale figure and is partially castoff able.

Asuna – Titania version

I actually thought I could pass on this figure since I wasn’t that convinced by the promotional pictures and Asuna never was a character I cared about at first. In the story Asuna grow on me when she and Kirito took in Yui, the little cyber girl. As first user pictures of the figure appeared after release, I was quite surprised about the very adaption of the character. I’m really not into bondage or other tricks with ropes, but I’m a sucker when it comes to expressive faces and this Asuna  has it for sure. Her sorrowful  facial expression is beautiful and she even has Elf ears. Under her pure white dress, Max Factory gave this figure quite risky underwear, which is really in need for adjustment and reveals details I never expected from a figure of this company.

To have less pressure with incoming packages, I placed my order at a local dealer, where I realized that 10o,00€ are actually worth a lot of Yen. I paid a little much, but at least I won’t regret not getting her.

A number of people said that they disliked it when Asuna was kept hostage in ALO and also disliked the figure because it reminded them of that certain part, where Asuna was turned into the damsel in distress. Well, the figure is nevertheless beautiful in my eyes, they could have given her clothes a slightly lighter appearance, but we can figure that out when she arrives.

Original Character – Zettai Tora – normal version

This figure is a fresh GK adaption from Mouse Unit, now they have a PVC version of her ready for preordering. The girl looks a little bit bored, but she has beautiful hair, glasses and a great looking hat. Don’t ask me for what reason she has a tiger tail. This figure features Raita’s distinctive character design with a prominent sculpted ribcage and prominent nipples. She’s a big figure of a nicely sculpted beach woman with castoff feature, the price appears a little fierce, but buying from overseas is still somewhat cost efficient in the EUR regions.

Grisaia no Kajitsu – Suou Amane

Grisaia no Kajitsu is a visual novel, it’s anime adaption will start to air very soon, while Im not sure how they want to adapt this complex material, Kotobukiya shows us one of the heroines of the game in a happy manner. Her background is rather difficult to explain in few sentences, on first impression Amane is a very kind and likes to take care of others like a mother. She’s not shy about showing her buxom body and seems to be quite carefree about morals in general.
This figure looks promising. the hair and face are close to the game design, I love her eyes. The pose is cute and playful, it’s rather cool that she’s 1/6, will give her a bigger impact as figure.

Kasugano Sora

This figure was announced just ten months ago, I have the feeling that it has been longer.
I noticed her appeal some weeks ago, she looks really pretty in her cream white chinese dress and the fine strands of her hair. The soft bright colors of her are quite enchanting. Sora is obviously a younger character, together with blush and huge ribbons she’s also very cute.

Tamaki Kousaka Miwaku no Twister Game version

This figure is based on a GK which has been around for some time, only in parts though, Orca Toys came around the corner and added this Tamaki Kosaka (another one) to their catalog. The girl looks pretty alluring with her body and facial expressions. I like this creative pose, as well as the idea behind it, playing Twister seems to be more fun with Tamaki. The GK had a prettier bikini color, but Ora Toys actually produced some nice figure, this one turn out nice either.

Alisia Heart

I actually don’t know who this character is, but the short girl with the flowing red hair looks very nice all around. It’s the typical pretty Japanese Game design outfit, some armor, boots and for female characters there is a cute skirt added. The dynamic pose together with the pretty character design makes a nice package.

Kiryuuin Satsuki – Senketsu version

Haha ok, this is honestly not the girl of my dreams (maybe nightmare), but from an artistic perspective this planned GK adaption is simply awesome. I hope GSC will produce the figure without big design changes, to make her more suitable for mainstream, the unique style makes her special and appealing. I also think that Senketsu, the uniform suits her perfectly.

Sailor Sapphire Succubus

Hmm, this post turns out to have certain trend, but now I drop da bomb. …Well, there is nothing to sweet talk about, the figure is a daringly posed Succubus. I actually kind of like the design of Orchid Seeds currently in development prototype, while her exaggerated proportions are not what I demand, there is really something charming in her face that I can hardly resist.

Moco

Captain Earth finished, time for figures! I already assumed that my beloved anime would get no scale figure at all, so as the news surfaced my heart literally skipped a beat. Embrace Japan will make Moco, the charming and enigmatic villain of the show. She is quite the hot lady, always wearing her eccentric, bold outfit. The alien really enjoys her human avatar and I really like her playfully sexy personality. I would be even happier when someone would make a figure of Akari.
