Yes, new preorders part 25 and something is probably the right title for this post, there has been not much new to preorder at the end of the year. I expected a few more Kancolle figures from other manufacturers to show up for preorders in December, but they are probably waiting to announce these for the next Wonder Festival which is sheduled for February 2015.

Aside from a few updated or announced figures from MegaHobby Expo Autumn and some more fanservice related figures there hasn’t been happening much in the last few months.

I did order only a few figures one of them on last minute literally, I really plan to preorder less figures in 2015, mainly focusing on the things I really want and making no impulse purchases.

Kasugano Sora

In the last Preorder Post 24 this figure was one of maybe candidates, I decided to get her, unfortunately all shops closed reservations months ago. I got the fix idea to grab one on the day of release and to my surprise it worked, HLJ had a few left. Shortly before release ALTER announced a black color Variant, but I’m on team white. I’m looking forward to have her soon.

Sailor Sapphire Succubus

Another maybe candidate was this hot Succubus based on an artwork of Mogudan. I’m not lying when I say that the biggest appeal point for me is the figures beautiful and lively face. Ok, she also has an attractive, voluptuos body and with being scaled 1/6 she will be a rather big figure. With the short shirt it looks a bit silly, but without it though, she looks really, really sexy. I might try to put a bikini top on her. I can’t wait to get her in summer 2015.

Super Sonico Paisura Bikini ver

You can probably tell by now that I’m into that stuff XD Here is another Super Sonico figure,
it might actually be the last one this time, until something really unique is shown.

I followed the development of her since the very early prototype stage and was quite happy to see her having turned out as promising preorder. What convinced me in the end was this set of promotional pictures, where Sonico blushes a lot, which is no wonder with a bikini that won’t fit at all and reveals her attractive, buxom body. Her pose has something to do with putting on sun lotion, I like how she squeezes her arm between her plump, fairly sized boobs.

The sculptor has a promising history of good looking figures with nicely sculpted bodies, I’m positive that this big scale Sonico figure from Kaitendoh will be really nice as well.

Toujou Nozomi

Not really worth to mention, but I really like such petite Nendoroid sized merchandise, when it looks as nice as this. Nozomi is bundled with Dengeki G`s Comic Magazine Vol.15 Issue.

Toro Toro Otome – Miki Reina – Suntan version

I was really torn between this figure and the previously shown Sonico. I ordered Sonico, but Miki is still a beauty. There is already a non tanned version of this figure, but the darker skin adds a lot to her and makes her look more convincing. Miki has a playful appearance, very nice colors, different display options and her top is castoff able. It was a difficult decision, but I actually hate her shoes to be honest, but I’ll keep her in mind for a possible later purchase ^^

Musashi Kai – Light Armament Version

You can buy this figure in 4 different versions, 2 differ in color, 2 differ in terms of attached weapons. With full armament she looks quite impressive, but the normal version is also very pretty, cheaper and less likely to get damaged when being moved around, that pole is better made of aluminum or steel *lol* Musashi looks good with some muscles and rather big boobs , she also wears an interesting concept of an outfit completed with a ribbon wrapped around her body. If her face would show some more emotion I would have pre-ordered her for sure.

BLAZBLUE ALTER MEMORY – Mu-12

This figure looks really cool with led powered base and prominent buttocks, the sculptor did a good job on the skin parts and the rest obviously. On the downside her face is hard to see, from different angles it’s still hard to see, which will be a reason for me not to pre-order her.

Eiyuu*Senki GOLD – Beethoven

That is the most innocent character design from the Eiyuu*Senki game and I really like that, Beethoven is a cute, short girl with an unique hairstyle and headphones. The slanted eyes give a nice thoughtful touch and she has a podium like base.

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride – Houzouin Inshun

The Samurai Bride designs are really pretty and showcase the advanced craftsmanship and possibilities of todays figure production. With Inshun we see one character of the new cast. She has beautiful eyes and looks really good.

Another Toni Taka related design from Alphamax, this time without genitals on display XD
The static yet stoic figure knows to appeal with pretty colors a pretty face and flowing hair.

Himejijou

As the castle figure was still an unpainted prototype I liked her a lot more. I imagined her colors to turn out more striking. While she doesn’t look bad at all,I feel a little vary about her. She would actually be my type of figure and her diorama like base is lovely. I might like Hiimejijou a lot better in person, but with my mixed impressions I can’t make a pre-order.

Karada ni Kiite – Eriko

Who put the nearly nude figure here, me? I guess I liked her feminine curves a lot and the interesting design of her face. Haha like on Miki Reina from further above I hate the shoes again, what is Daiki doing with all the ugly shoes! Hmmm, it seems that the figures are just randomly divided beteen Daiki Kougyou and Dragon Toy (both companies are related).I had the impression that Dragon Toy would be in charge of the raunchy stuff, apparently not ;D

I’m watching Bouryaku no Zvezda at the moment and also enjoy it a lot, Plamya caught my attention previously to that, since the character design is already really cool and I also like her tough girl personality. To me it appears that the prototype was improved a bit, the picture is around 2 weeks old

Leviathan – Maou Mokushiroku

Ater seeing this figures cute face in color, I’m really curious about what kind of character Leviathan actually is. She looks cute and sexy in her beach clothes, gladly Orchid Seed will work on her with Tanaka Masanori they got a really talented sculptor for her. In a magazine scan, she was shown with a silly pose, but it must be a different figure, don’t you think?

Black Heart

As I learned that Black Heart is going to be made as a 1/7 scaled figure, I was stunned, this figure will look great in a bigger scale and with such a dynamic pose. I’m very positive about ordering her next year, she looks so damn good.

Love Live! School Idol Festival – Minami Kotori

ALTER keeps up the trend of making more figures in scale 1/7. Here the Love Live core member Kotori. I don’t know what they did to make this Kotori prototype look so precious, she’s nearly sparkling with craftsmanship, cuteness and visual appeal. They also made Maki.

Push!! Cover Girl

On their blog Orchid Seed mentioned that the prototype for this figure has been completed and that updates should follow soon. I’m really happy that this figures gets more attention now. I wished for her since I saw her at Summer Wonder Festival 2012. compared to the shown First version of her prototype the body looks more detailed now, at body and legs.

Sansei Muramasa – Bunny version

Sansei received quite some attention from Wing in particular, they already made a figure of her in the regular outfit which looks rather good with the serious face. Recently they were showing this through their social channels. I already like the concept art, keep it up Wing.

Kongou – Kantai Collection ~Kan Colle~

For gods sake I still wasn’t able to get in this stupid online game, even with all the “tricks”. Just how difficult can it be ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡ !!? Even without being able to play the game, I love the visual style of Kantei Collection. Combining a cute girl with a classic battleship from WWII makes you nearly forget about the tragedy that befall this and many other ships. Back to the admirals darling, Kongou looks simply gorgeous, considering that she is only scaled 1/8 this figure is super detailed, the few damage effects on her and the clothes give her some sexy appeal .

 Nitro Super Sonic – Sonico – Beach Queens

As Sonico fan, I just couldn’t ignore this new Beach Queen, Wave sculpted her nicely with all of her convincing physical attributes, just look at her thighs, she’s pure dynamite. I also like the little red crab which will be included .

Ikaros – Sora no Otoshimono Final 

Recently I have finished the manga from Sora no Otoshimono, it ended pretty unspectacular, you should expect nothing from a harem setting in the end. The authors just don’t have the guts to let the main character pick one girl. One of Sora no Otoshimono’ good part is the appealing character design and likeability of it’s characters. Kotobukiya decided to make a figure of Ikaros under their 4 Leaves lable. She looks lovely from head to toe, I just love her puppy eyes. From the backside she also convinces with her detailed braids.

Kashiwazaki Sena – Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT

I ordered this figure as soon as she was available, sure she is huge, but I’m sure that I will like this curvy girl, the sculpting is so well done. Also her face is convincing, Gift did a very good job at recreating the face of Sena with all of it’s details, while other companies failed at it so far.

Cecilia Alcott – IS: Infinite Stratos 2 – Bunny ver.

As it was already announced at last Wonfes, FREEing is going to turn all IS girls except Houki into large scale figures. I always checked out FREEing’s big figures at Tentacle Armada and thought that they are pretty. Nevertheless, when looking at Cecilia I’m kinda impressed how faithful she is to her anime appearance with blush and a lively expression, she looks quite gorgeus. Let’s hope that there will be no cutbacks on the details in the final product.

Original Character – Kondo Yume

It is mean that Native mixed this adorable cute character design with so much lewdness, ok the illustration was already like that. Yume is really cute, she is petite, pretty and yeah she even has glasses. I like her type quite a bit, there are a number different ways to display her.

These battery powered things in her bag give me the creeps and actually are superfluous for me and I will let them stay in the box. Aside from that, she comes with a mattress and pillows. I’m probably going to order her, even when it takes all of my courage to do so. You can order her from the 25th April 2014 at your proxy of choice or directly from Native.

 
 Taimanin Asagi – Igawa Asagi

Oh I nearly forgot to add Asagi, this is the second figure that I’ve seen of this character. I like the design of her. Her origin is quite  hard stuff, I’m not talking about fights, I took a look in one part, it was not really my thing. Anyway I’m happy that she is made modest in a cool pose

Sonsaku Hakufu – Ikki Tousen

I have a week spot for the latest Ikki Toussen figures from Daiki/Dragon Toy. The latter one made this super pretty Hakufu figure in damaged clothes, I think she would look good next to my Kan’u , both have a similar style and very good body sculpting. This hole in her shirt will be a bit difficult to cover, I assume, that I can worry about that later ;D

Souryuu Asuka Langley – Evangelion Shin Gekijouban: Q – Jersey ver.

Thats probably the most fashionable Asuka figure to date, the hat alone is awesome, ALTER included a different posing option to recreate two different, appealing poses. Overall she looks very good and has a cool expression, I would consider to add her to my collection.

Mikasa Ackerman – Shingeki no Kyojin

Ackermann looks really good as figure, she has cool clothes is super detailed and a without a doubt pretty face. Well, even though I like this story Mikasa comes from a lot, strangely I don’t feel much for anyone of the characters.

Better late than never a Nendoroid of Sakura appears, I just watched the whole Cardcaptor anime like two years ago, it’s the perfect example of a very nicely concluded anime. You could order her from the 25th April 2014 , I probably will.

Love Live is such an entertaining show, there are my animes related to the Idol culture, but Love Live is special. Sparkling animations and character designs, mixed with a number of different, but likeable personalities. GSC chose Honoka as figure to be made, she looks great so far. Actually I like the “big”girl, but the one that steals my heart is the little devil, Nico.

Koshimizu Sachiko – iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls

This is so good, an enchanting yandere type of Idol, I love her cute demonic expression, it’s a rarely used theme, her pose is also unique, I hope the final figure looks as shiny as this.

Well, here we have a sexy boy, oh my I’m watching too many sport anime lately. I never watched Free! for it’s lack of female characters, well I have heard that the female swim coach was pretty. Makoto is not really the bishounen type, but I think he looks pretty cool in this pose and outfit. Preorders haven’t opened so far.

Hello friends ^^, I think it’s time for a new preorder post. I already placed many preorders for the next few months, but it feels like it takes ages until the release actually happened, so the list of preorders gets longer and longer with each new order. It’s hard to stay interested in a certain figure when there appear many other nice figures each new month that you’d also like to have.

There are times when I just want to cancel everything and make a complete new preorder list.

Well, since the New Preorders 12 post I canceled nothing, I just can’t bring myself to pass on one of these lovely figures. The most dramatic changes were that Bath Time Sonico was delayed a 3/4 month and the release of Bath time Hinako was pushed far back to October, due to quality issues, she should have been already released but there already happened a number of delays.

Noel Vermillion – Hobby Link

As this exclusive figure was announced, I was pretty much interested in getting Noel Vermillion, but at that time I already had two preorders of exclusive figures and I also didn’t if her quality would be worth the trouble of using a proxy buyer service. I forgot about her, but after I’ve read  Tier’s review about her, I just had to get her into my fingers. I don’t know much about her origin BlazBlue, but her look is already reason enough for me to get her. She has a nice slender body and her face reminds me of Kazuki from Amaenaide yo!! Katsu!! I loved this little antagonist. This figure was released on April the 26th 2012, but I will get her in a few days, I ordered her @ the german shop Figuya for 169,00 €

Regular Preorders

Anarchy Stocking – ALTER

In the last preorder post Stocking already was on my Maybe Baby List, it rarely happens that I buy figures that are on this list, but her look was quite convincing. She reminded me of the time where I started collecting figures, where figures with a fancy outfit and design caught my interest.

Aside from the funny cursing I was no big fan of the Panty, Stocking and Garterbelt anime, but I liked Stocking and her look in transformation mode. ALTER did a great job with recreating her lovely dress also the voluminous pink-blue hair is lovely. I ordered this figure @ Big In Japan for 6,846 Yen and her release is scheduled for September 2012.

Hibari – Phat Company

This cute and playful girl is Hibari, I don’t know much about her origin, the Nintendo 3DS Game Senran Kagura, but I really like the design of this character and this certain figure. Hibari’s face and hairstly are very cute and the jersey jacket in combination with the bloomers is kind of sexy. The figure will have an optional right arm in the final product.

It wasn’t long ago as the Garage Kit of this figure was announced, what you would have received would been unpainted resin pieces of course. I was quite surprised how fast Phat Company secured the rights to turn this GK into a mass produced PVC figure, I was also quite happy about this. It rarely happens that Garagekits are turned into PVC figures. The sculptor of Hibari was also in charge of this lovely GK of Nagi, which I’ve bought a few years ago (its still untouched)

I actually don’t have that much trust in Phat Company, but I hope they make a good figure of her nevertheless, the release is scheduled for October, I ordered Hibari @ AmiAmi for 5170 Yen.

Takamachi Nanoha – Ques q

The prototype of this Nanoha figure was announced on the last Wonfes, the sheduled release date was announced quite early, but it took Ques q a little while until preorders for her were taken, I could have ordered the also very adorable 1/4 scaled bikini Nanoha figure from Gift, but I slightly prefer the smaller 1/7 scale and the more innocent looking bikini and facial expression.

Next to Sonico Im a big fan of the young Nanoha, but surprisingly this will be just my second figure of her. I ordered her @ AmiAmi for 5340 Yen and this Nanoha will be released in October.

Super Sonico Nendoroid – GSC

I remember saying that I would stop buying Nendoroids, since they break easily in my hands, but come on it’s Sonico. It’s actually strange that this Nendoroid wasn’t made earlier, regarding her popularity in the last year. With her Tiger Parka she is presented in the least revealing outfit to date, but I still like it with the hood she looks very adorable and there are some more items.

Anyway, this Nendoroid is an exclusive one and was ought to be sold in Japan only, at first you could only order her via a proxy, but a few days later GSC also offered her at their international online shop, but at that time I had already ordered her somewhere else, because I couldn’t wait.
I ordered her for 4680 Yen @ Tokyohunter, the release is also shedulded for October 2012.

Touwa Erio  – scale: 1/8 – manufacturer: CM – release date: August

This is actually my favorite Erio figure to date I don’t know about the reputation or quality of CM, but I really like the design, face and pose of this Erio. She will also have a cast off option.

Ignis – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Orchid Seed – release date: October

Orchid Seed always needs some time from grey prototype until the figure can be preordered, this Ignis is a good example for that. I actually haven’t followed the development of Ignis, but I kind of like how she turned out, she has a wonderful white dress and the red air adds a nice contrast.

Cover Girl – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Dengeki/Ryu-NS – release date: October

I have a few problems with her, she’s a limited and exclusive figure, a garage kit, no panties, cost more than 14000Yen and she’s very cute XD Ok, I will probably pass on her because of the price.

Mikazuki Yozora – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Alpha Max – release date: November

Personally I think it’s an enchanting adaption of Yozora’s character in a cute swimsuit, I kind of like her overall appearance with the adorable face and pose. Maybe I get her after the release.

Shizuno Izumi – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Max Factory – release date: October

Izumi has a very cute appearance and an attractive body. Unfortunately the short shirt is a strange looking part of her outfit, too bad it isn’t castoffable like the skirt. But she’s still cute.

They have a height of 80 mm which makes them bigger as petite Nendoroids, but smaller than real Nendoroids. Their sculpting and painting quality can be considered as very good, the parts are painted very well and the faces also have lovely rosy cheeks *blush*. There are some minor flaws I will mention later in this review. Everyone of these small piglets have a few little features.

The Guitar version comes in a casual dress with a mini skirt, brown boots and a t-shirt, extra parts are a guitar and a towel. She seems a bit exhausted from her concert but she’s still happy. In direct comparison with the other two versions, she appears a little boring in that outfit.

The Demonbane version is one of my favorites, Sonico cosplays as Al Azif from Demonbane.
This Sonico looks very cute in her frilly white outfit with the red ribbons. Her happy face has a nice upper front teeth line, its also nice how her belly is exposed. Her feature are the rotateable arms.

The Valentine version is my second favorite Sonico from this set, she is inspired by this 1/7 scaled Soniko figure that Orchid Seed produced in 2009 showing the naked apron outfit in a sexy way. Im no big fan of the naked apron attire, but a sexualised chibi Soniko is quite amusing.

You can see some sideboobs and the white thong between her buttocks. This small darling is very photogenic I have to say. Her pose and the shy face expression are a very good combination. As feature she has a cute cake and is showing some curves, one cute detail are her house slippers.

With my copy of the set I had not much luck, as I was unpacking them I already snapped the neck of the Guitar version *damn* I actually wanted to swap the heads of the figures, but after the bad experience I planned not to do more damage to these figures. Another flaw is that the Demonbane version doesn’t stand straight on her base unfortunately she is leaned slightly backwards. In terms of durability the Apron version is the most steady one.

My fellow blogger Sevie apparently received a better copy and had more trust into durability of these 3 figures, in her review she swapped heads and tried more interesting things than I did.

Overall these three figures of Sonico have a nice quality in terms of sculpting and painting, far better than the petite Nendoroids. From my biased impressions they are no figures for heavy duty, not something for playing around, just place them on a good spot and let them be would my advise. Nevertheless the quality is good, but for future figures of the Choco*Ochi line Orchid Seed should improve the connection between figure and base, I don’t trust these flimsy pegs.

My next Sonico related post should be a review about the Bath Time version figure from Native.

Today I’lI present you  another Nendoroid review, I thought that Amano Tooko was the last Nendoroid I’ve bought for once, but this Hayate Nendoroid caught my interest a bit and some weeks ago I heard that only 10 more copys of him were available at AmiAmi and so I took up to chance to get him after I’ve passed on him on his release date.

The origin of this Nendoroid is the popular comedy manga and anime Hayate no Gotoku.
In my opinion Hayate no Gotoku is one of the best story driven comedy shows I’ve seen so far.
This show already had two seasons, the first one had 52 episodes and the second one had 25 episodes, a movie is also planned for the Hayate no Gotoku franchise.

The Design of this Nendoroid is inspired by the hilarious episode 12, where Hayate was possesed by the spirit of a crossdresser, who forced him to wear this girly bunny maid outfit.
To cause no embarrasing situations he tried to cover his true identity with the fake name Hermione, but that didn’t really work. There are some other great scenes in this episode for example when Hina is singing the Opening Theme “Zankoku na Tenshi no Teeze“ of Neon Genesis Evangelion or a damn angry Nagi Ojou-sama.

The animation style of Hayate no Gotoku is perfect for making Nendoroids out of the characters, next to Hayate, Hinagiku and Nagi were also turned into Nendoroids.
I planned to do a review only with Hayate and his parts in the pictures, but I invited Tooko to make things more interesting and ended up with some body parts mix up and ecchi ideas.

But let’s start with the things inside of his box, Hayate comes with three faces, three legs, six hands (I don’t know if the left hand of the butler body can be taken off, so maybe he just have 5 usable hands), two bended arms, a magical wand and a bunnytail.

Here we have Hayate in his butler outfit “shift body”, he can only raise his right arm, so the things you can do with him in this outfit are quite limited. Nevertheless his butler uniform looks elegant and is well done. A much more interesting way to display Hayate is the bunny maid outfit. A white and red colored dress with a simple paintjob and a fe nice details, like the bell around his neck or the ribbon at his backside. The shoulders and arms can seperated, so you can interchange the stretched arms with the bended arms. You also have a third bended leg for him. The bunnytail is only usable with the base of Hayate, it can’t be attached to him directly which is a bit dumb in my opinion.

This bunny eared alice band is a very funny accessory, the ears on it can be placed in different directions

Hayate comes with two bases, one for each outfit. For the butler outfit body he comes with a simple but nice base, there you only have to put the thing between his legs and Hayate gets a solid base, for displaying him in a space saving way. The bunny maid body’s base is also easy to use you just have to put his skirt in the holder, this base isn’t as stable as the other one, so this is what happens sometimes when you  put him without giving attention (picture below).

The faces are cleanly sculpted and painted, I really like the thin black line at the mouth of the normal and the frown face Well, the open mouthed EH!? face can look a bit retared sometimes, even though it is also very well made.

In my opinion this Nendoroid itself isn’t as interesting as an Amano Tooko, a Super moveable Saber or HMO Miku, not that I think that he’s a bad Nendoroid, in fact he is quite nice, but the real fun starts when you combine the bunny maid outfit with other Nendoroid parts. As you can probably see I had a lot of fun with using the hair of Tooko during the shooting.

Maybe too much ^o^ Haha it’s Nendoroid mating season, but Hayate doesn’t agree.

Final words

This Nendoroid resembles Hayate from the anime very much, the hair and the face expression are very well made. Also his butler outfit looks nice and detailed the only dropdown is that only one arm is moveable with this body. I guess most of you prefer the bunny maid outfit, I feel the same way its very cute and funny and most of all it has the fully moveabilty you would expect from a Nendoroid. I would recommend this Hayate Nendoroids to fans of Hayate no Gotoku!! Or people who want the bunny maid outfit for their other Nendoroids.

Today I have the Saber super moveable Nendoroid on review (another nendo *lol*)
I have good news for my readers who dislike Nendoroids, that was the last
Nendoroid Review for once next time I will return to PVC figures =D .

This Nendoroid  has the same look as the 1/7 scaled Saber Triumphant Excalibur,
from Good Smile Company which was released in October 2010.

Her origin is the popular Fate/Stay night franchise which consist of some Games,
an anime and lately even a Movie called Unlimited Blade Works was made.
Saber is a strong and brave servant whio was summoned by Emiya Shirō

I always was more a Rin fan than a Saber fan and so far I owned no single Saber Figure.
So this Saber Nendoroid was a pure Impulse buy,I saw it at AmiAmi Shop
and thought “Ah how cool” after checking the price, Saber landed in my shopping cart.

So what is included in the box:

• Saber and base

• two spare faces

• four spare hands

• three swords

• two scabbards

And here comes the freak face of Saber

I think the swords and scabbards have special names but I don’t have them in mind.

Good Smile Company made many Saber Nendoroids, the special feature of this one is that it is “Super Moveable” which means that Saber has nearly the same articulation like a Figma.
You can give her nearly every pose which comes to mind, she has joints at her neck, shoulders, elbows, legs and feet, you can also spread the skirt to the sides. For posing noobs like me these kind of posing freedom is a bit over the top, but I think more Nendoroid experienced or more creative people will have their fun with such a variety of possible poses,the only limiting factor is her head and the length of her arms.

Saber is the first kind of moveable Nendoroid, so I didn’t know how her moveability would turn out, there were some comments on MFC about loose parts and joints, but I only discovered that her right arm comes off easily when you pose it.

Another nice aspect of this Nendoroid is the base, it’s connects at the back of Saber. It supports Saber very well and helps you to create cool and dynamic poses. I think the connection at the back is the best way to display a Nendoroid. Honestly I’d like to drill a hole in the backs of my two older Nendoroids and equip them with such kind of bases.

The quality of GSC’s Nendoroids was always very good, after I bought Saber and Amano Tooko which was released at around the same time, I can say that their quality has even increased, the parts fit together perfectly. The paintjob is nearly flawless the same goes for the sculpting.

Talking about quality have you heard about the commotion about BRS Anime Version? As GSC was getting flamed when it came out that they forgot to put the star decal on her jacket and gave her beige colored shoe soles, personally I don’t really care about the beige boots nor the missing star I didn’t even know she had a star there until Wednesday. That they’ve forgotten to put on the star is a bit embarrassing, but even if I am no fan of  Good Smile Company I felt a bit sorry for them. I will cover my impressions about the BRS Anime Version figure in the next review.

Back to Saber’s outfit, it is very nice and detailed, as I said before she has the same. Outfit as the one of the 1/7 scaled Saber Triumphant Excalibur Version. The blue combined with the silver colored parts looks really good, especially the detailed silver colores armor plates are very cool and and I like the slightly shiny metallic paint. The different layers of her skirt which consist of the outer armor, the blue dress and the white underskirt looks really nice together.

I tried to switch the head with another Nendo, but the neck of Sumomo was a bit too thick, to fit in Sabers body so I had to switch the neck peg.

Final Words:

This Saber Nendoroid is a very nice and cool Nendoroid, she offers you a lot of freedom for creating cool and dynamic poses. I am really astonished about the moveability of such a small figure. The paintjob of her outfit looks great with the combination of blue and silver colors. The three different faces are also nice and have diversified expressions, my favorites are the kind and the serious one, Sabers eyes look very nice. Also the sculpting of this Saber Nendoroid is accurate and very well done.

Hi, today we have Good Smile Companies Nendoroid No. 118, Amano Tooko in the house.
Her origin is the Light Novel ““ where she is the president of the literature club.

She is a very kindhearted and lively person, she likes literature to the extent that she happens to eat what she reads. I only learned about her origin after I watched the Bungaku Shoujo: Kyou no Oyatsu – Hatsukoi sidestory. I  haven’t read the light novel, but I really enjoyed the OVA’s of this franchise, called Bungaku Shoujo Memoire which I watched after Kyou no Oyatsu – Hatsukoi.

In the OVA it is said that she can’t feel the taste of food, but she can feel the taste of literature, she hides that secret, only people who are close to her know of that secret. She and her clubmate Konoha are in the literature club, where Konoha has to write “tasty” stories for her .

I also recently watched the movie Bungaku Shoujo but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the OVA’s
because they added a stupid yandere girl to the main characters cast, what a bitch ;D.

I bought two big Nendoroids so far, in the past I accidently broke their bases after only a few minutes of posing, well I was able fix them but not in a satisfying way, that made me that angry that I nearly gave up on buying more Nendoroids… Well, in the end I’ve bought anotherone, I really liked the look of this Amano Tooko Nendoroid with the sitting pose option, as well as the monster option, which gives her a different and crazy look so I couldn’t resist her *damn GSC*.

Now I will start to tell you my opinion and thoughts about this Nendoroid.

in general Nendoroids (not the standard bases ^^) from gsc have a very good quality. Tooko is no exception, she has clean and accurate painted parts. The blue colortones of her are looking really good together with her white shirt, also the shading of the hair is very well done. The faces and their expressions are painted clean and accurate as well. Overall the parts are fitting very good together, I noticed that the tips of her braids fell off some times, but the other parts like the arms, the hands, the legs and the heads were fitting accurately and were easy to handle.

Tooko has three different options for the main posing.

My favorite option is the one where Tookou can sit on her chair. It looks very cute in combination with her paper chewing face. But I miss a second hip part, it is a bit uncomfortable to make the sitting pose, you have take off the standing legs as well as the joint balls out of the hip part and put the sitting legs into the free holes.

In the second option Tookou can stand.

Unfortunately her braids aren’t enough to support her stand alone so you have to use the base.
As mentioned before I had bad memories with these bases, so I haven’t use it in my review.

Here is the last and third option, where Tooko is a monster in a Surströmming tin.

Surströmming is a Swedish fish delicacy, which is preserved by acidification, I heard it should smell intense and foul. Bon appetit XD This option looks crazy and hilarious,there are Stickers of a bat and a bull skull, which you can use as decorations for monster Tooko. You can use these stickers a few times they are still sticky even after some usage.

Here is all the stuff  which was included in the box.

As you can see it is a lot there are a few hands, a few books, stickers, 2 spare heads, a spare skirt, a chair and so on.

Time for the Final Words
Im not very good at posing but I tried my best to show the good sides of this Tooko Nendoroid. Tooko Amano is a nice and cute figure with a very good quality. Taking pictures of her was a lot of fun especially in her monster option XD If you are wondering about the school room in the background it is the Culture Festival Set A from Phat Company. When you are a Nendoroid fan you shouldn’t miss to get this cutie.
