First a Merry Christmas, everyone! We already took a look at the beach qualities of this figure in a recent review, as promised, I did another set for ALTER’s Super Sonico – Santa Swimsuit version figure the with focus on this figures christmas appearance in a fitting scenario.

I actually didn’t plan this shooting as a scene, but it looks little story in the first few pictures. Starting with her backside is but works better to start this as a little story as introduction.
Well, she also has a is tasteful backside ^^

Shortly before Christmas Eve, Sonico remodeled the room and is now waiting ardent for her chosen one to arrive. A few minutes later, as Sonico was lost in thought the door opens.

It’s Chosen one san, finding Sonico in a cute and also sexy christmas related outfit kneeling on the cozy floor, a bunch of presents and a small christmas tree placed all around the room.

This Super Sonico is scaled 1/7 with a height of 13 cm, she was made by two experienced sculptors, Hide and Makio Munetoshi who combined their excellent skills to create this figures sculpt. After a few delays the figure was finally released in early September 2014.

The figure convinces with a cute, slightly flirty expression, the kind smile suits her very well.
The majority of manufacturers so far have preferred to portray her with worried expressions, which partially suits her perfectly, but more happy Sonico’s show up, which is welcome.

I’ve already said most things in the previous review, to sum it up, I am really convinced by ALTER‘s first Super Sonico. She has everything a Sonico needs, an incredibly adorable face and an attractive feminine and curvy body with good sense of putting bodyfat in the right areas

The ALTER company, which was before known as a little demure, slowly increases their number of attractive, shapely figures. ALTER known as top tier manufacturer and always especially nicely, sculpted figures did a great job with these feminine exposed curves of Sonico and previously Asuka, I’m not talking about the one from Evangelion ^^.

The cute figure comes with exchangeable heads, the hood aside they are similar I would dare to say. It’s a nice feature that allows to have Sonico around in summer and winter, although it’s not like anyone is going to blame you for not changing her appearance according to the season.

Without the hood I like her a lot in the beach setup with bare shoulders and collarbones.
The hood gives Sonico a more romantic look, the oval shaped hood is surrounding her head and headphones, the head has a shorter part attached to it, which covers her shoulders.

The red part is imitating thick fur, looks a bit like slaughted sea lion to me XD Well, the texture is short fibered and a little rough, but that is the desired effect. The white hoodie border in comparison looks very soft and fluffy. Around her collar, a long black ribbon is hanging around Sonico’s body, what a nice present she would be. The attached thing gives Sonico a festive feeling on top her cute and shapely appearance, the bell is really pretty on her again.

On summary ALTER’s Super Sonico – Santa Swimsuit version is lovely and that counts for both of her display options, be it christmas or the beach, she will rock both for sure.

One of the few exceptions where a Sonico figure has no cast off option, I don’t really miss this feature here, the skin revealing areas are nice enough and it gives her sonething innocent.

Hi todays review is about a figure which I hadn’t on my agenda until recently, it is Itou Noemi.
I mentioned her in my last New Preorder post. It was a mere impulse buy, I noticed this figure as I was scrolling through the sale section of HobbyLinkJapan, she looked pretty cute in the preview pictures and I couldn’t resist. The discount at HobbyLinkJapan was also pretty good, something about 5700yen but to save shipping cost and customs I bought her at a local shop.

Itou Noemi was manufactured by Kotobukya and released in November 2008 for a price of 7140 Yen at that time. Her scale is 1/8 and her height is about 19,5 cm.
The origin of this figure is a visual novel game called With You –Mutsumetai from 1998!
It was published by NEC Interchannel, Ltd. for Pc, Sega Saturn and WonderSwan Color
There was also an Ova adaption from the year 2000, but the ratings say it’s pretty bad.
So Kotobukiya made this figure nearly 12 years after the origin was made, that’s interesting.

I haven’t played the game, watched the Ova, or found any CGs, so aside from a few artworks, I can’t give you such background information’s like in my Buddy review. Maybe I’ll be able to edit a few infos after I’ve watched the Ova.

Hair & Face

Noemi has long dark purple colored hair, it has no shading and paintjob on it, but the nicely sculpted strands create good looking shadows on it so I can’t really complain about the missing paintjob, the hair looks quite good without it. At her huge ponytail a big yellow ribbon is attached. The face of her looks very cute, she has beautiful purple colored eyes and some blushmarks on her cheeks. Her wide open mouth is also done very well.

“Kyaaaa!, don’t look at me!”

The morning sun floods Noemi’s room while she is changing into her working dress.
She already took the clothes out of the closet and placed them neatly on her bed before putting them on. From the Hallway silent steps can be heard followed by a cheerful piping song. Suddenly the door opens and as soon as Noemi realizes who enters her room carelessly, she thrusts out a sharp scream “Kyaaaa!, don’t look at me!” from the shock while quickly pulling her uniform close to her body to cover her embarrassment.

Pose & Expression

It looks so cute how Noemi grabs her uniform and pulls her arms towards her face.
The sculptor captured her expression and body language from such scenes we know from many animes shows very well and gave the whole figure a very dynamic appearance. Also the flow of her clothes looks very nice, like the little bit transparent shimmy has nice wrinkles and shading effects. The maid uniform which is probably made of heavier cloth and shows are different kind of drapery than the pink shimmy, the twisted sleeves do look very interesting and are giving the final touch to the flow of her clothes and the pose.

Body & Outfit

The first thing I’ve noticed, was that the figure appears very petite, in the description it is said that Noemi is scaled 1/8, I thought, wait that can’t be 1/8, but in comparison with another 1/8 scaled figure of mine her size appeared reasonable. Neomi is just more petite, she has a small butt, the thin long legs and her small feet; the implied toes are a cute detail. Her upper body is mainly covered by the shimmy, but because of its sculpting you can see some skin here and there. The round base is nothing special, it shows a timber flooring like texture and looks good.

Her outfit consists of a pink shimmy, stockings and panties, the long white stockings are pretty nice. The panties have a small ribbon at the front, at the backside there are funny looking quillings. There are no cast off options and the maid uniform can’t be separated from her.

Overall the sculpting looks quite good only from her backside I’ve noticed that her arms are connected in a strange looking way the lower part is bigger than the upper part and it looks quite ugly, another smaller flaw I’ve noticed is a small gap between her leg and her butt on the right side, this second flaw isn’t that noticeable.

Final Words

I’m happy that I bought this Noemi Itou figure, as said the body language of her pose and the face has a very strong expression , the dynamic flow of her poses also done very well. This figure is a little bit on the sexy side, but it’s not very daring and so Noemi is mainly a very cute figure also my mum said that she’s totally cute ^^

Hello, today I will review a cute little Dwarf, no grumpy bearded one, like in Lord of the Rings it is a cute, female one with a fancy looking dress. Dwarf was manufactured by Orchid Seed she got delayed in December and so her release date was pushed back to January 2011.

She is a Non scale figure, since she’s 210 mm in height, she looks like a 1/8 scaled figure, at the moment she stays next to Momohime and Maaryan and they look very good together.

The origin of Dwarf is the Lineage II MMOPRG, her name sounds not very lovely. I guess its just the name of her battle class. This time I can’t provide much background informations about her origin, I’ve never played this Game and never felt the urge to do so.

Any Lineage II players here?

In the Game you have a lot of freedom to design your character, so I don’t know why they made Dwarf look like this, the main characteristics of the Dwarf battle class are the twintail hairstyle, the cute face an the quite short legs in comparison to other battle classes. In the Game her sweet dress is called formal wear and you can get it after clearing a quest of the game.

Unfortunately that were all the infos I could gather about her in the Game, so from now on I will focus on giving you my impressions about her sculpting, the painting and on Dwarf’s outfit.

Hair & Face

As always I will start from the top to the bottom, so at first comes her hair, Dwarf has beautiful dark pink colored hair with a cute twintail hairstyle. There are two colored metallic cone like hair attires at them, another detail of her hairstyle are the two long strands at the sides of her bangs wich are framing her face. The flow her hair as well as the strands are very well detailed and cleanly sculpted, hidden behind her bangs you can see her thin dark pink eyebrows. the cat head item at her necklace isa very cute detail isn’t it? I never noticed it in the preview shots.

Now to the eyes, they are matte coloured but the paintjob lets them appear deep and shiny.

Her big round eyes are looking great and give Dwarf a very lively and lovely expression. She has a  cute snub nose and light blush marks at her cheeks. I actually don’t like figures with wide open mouths very much, even though Im owning quite a few, but the half open mouth of Dwarf is sculpted very nicely, I really like the depth and how you can see the tounge inside the mouth.

Overall her face looks very soft and extremely cute, in terms of happiness and cuteness her face beats the little Nanoha which I reviewed last time, Maryan and even Reinforce II.

Outfit & Body

The outfit of Dwarf appears like a mix of a wedding dress and a ballerina outfit it has frilly straps and oval bulky skirt part. The top which covers her delicate chest and her belly has a light pink colortone while the rest of her dress; with exception of her underskirt everything has a cream white color and a nacre shining effect to it which resembles silk cloth a bit, it has nice details, like seam lines indentations and so on. The underskirt is white but semi transparent and has some small heartshaped ornaments printed on it. To add more playfulness to her dress, a lot of pink ribbons have been used, my favorite ribbon is the big one at her neck.

Imagine you have to fight Dwarf in the game and then your badass character got humiliated by a player who uses such a cute looking Dwarf as character. The reaction would be priceless ;D.

The body of Dwarf looks attractive; well she doesn’t show much skin, but the places where she shows skin look really nice, at the front you have her pretty collarbones and at the back you can see her pretty shoulder blades. If you think that her light pink colored harem pants look a bit silly, Orchid Seed provided a cast-off option; under her harem pants you can see white, scanty cutted and frilly panties. When casted off you can also see her nice legs and her buttocks are a little bit exposed. As long as you don’t flip her over you can’t see her panties, but the exposed legs add a different look to Dwarf so I think this cast-off feature is useful.

When looking at the shoes of Dwarf it appears that she has quite small feet, they are cute and like all the ribbons at her dress the design of the socks also adds some playfulness to the figure.

Dwarf appears very girly and cute, but she’s not defenceless because Orchid Seed equipped her with a mighty looking bow, it is silver, silver-gold and gold colored the detailed sculpted slots are looking very good, the bow isn’t colored too shiny, otherwise it would mismatch with Dwarfs outfit. The bow can be divided in two parts, so you can put it in Dwarfs hand. In Dwarfs box you can also find a metal rod arrow with an heart shaped head. It is supposed to be put between Dwarfs index finger and the middle finger, you have to pay attention not to lose it.

Dwarfs base looks like the garnishment of a wedding cake, but you can’t eat it of course.

It is mainly made of transparent plastic, with heart shaped ornaments and some gem shaped transparent parts on it, as I had her on my desk it was fun to be able to rotate the figure with on finger. Dwarf is attached to the base with one leg; she is well balanced and has comparative short and sturdy legs so the possibility of her to lean in the future is pretty low.

Final Words

Dwarf is my first figure from Orchid Seed and I’m really satisfied with their final product.
I didn’t know they were this good. Im a fan of cute looking figures, so of course I love this figure, she is incredible cute. Her face is cute because of the well painted green eyes and the half open mouth. Her outfit looks really nice and gives Dwarf a fairy-like, enchanting vibrancy.

You may have noticed that most of the time I’m quite positive and maybe a bit too nice with the figures in my reviews, but it’s no exaggeration when I say that Dwarf is the best figure I’ve bought since ALTER’s Momohime in July 2010. The figure looks a bit girly and sweet but it’s not like you will get tooth decay from her sweetness, she fits very well into my collection.

If you are interested in her, don’t miss your chance, she’s a really cute and beautiful figure.

Emi Kizaki is an older figure of mine so I’ll only write a few lines, I mainly want to show some pictures of her. Emi Kizaki is a 1/8 scaled figurine made by Kotobukiya, her release date occured in march 2009.  She comes in a very small box with a tropical theme printed on it.

Emi Kizaki is from the Manga and Anime Kurogane no Linebarrels, a mecha show with lots of ecchi and comedy. She looks a bit younger than the character of her origin, but you can identify her clearly as Emi Kizaki. This figure has an oval sand colored base, which has a soft texture.
Emi Kizaki has a very nicely sculpted pose the way she holds her arm to cover her loose bikini top strap and with her face expression, she creates an athmosphere of shy cuteness.

Her hair shows some detailed streaks which matches her look from the anime. The body itself is very well sculpted with nice long legs. She has a pale and bright skintone. Emi’s upper body looks nice too, even though she is not as well  endowed as in the anime =D

The gray bikini has some nice details, like the hanging straps for example. She uses her left arm to support her pose and with the right arm she holds her loosen bikin top. In her cleavage sits a small stuffed rat, I don’t know why Kotobukiya included the rat since it wasn’t in the anime show, maybe it was in the manga I don’t really know.

On her right side the face appears a bit square cut when you look from some angles.Where she looks the best are from the front and the left.

The figure is a very nice item for photgraphy, she looks good in outdoor and indoor shootings.
She is pretty resistant against direct sunlight, in my room I put her in very well lit areas and so far I couldn’t find any place where her color changed or her arms and legs deformend because of the heat even though You shouldn’t display your figures in direct sunlight!

Emi Kizaki is a very nice bikini figure with a pretty and petite body, the grey bikini
looks nice and the rat between her boobs makes the overall look some kind of unique.
