Yes, time for a doll photography post ^^
Recently, I take more photography sessions than I work on posts, which is a quite unbalanced thing to do. I will work on that in hope to keep my backlog in check. Sometimes I have a lack of motivation or just be too lazy to sit down and crunch ~600 words into the text field, nevertheless I still think that blogging is fun and a rewarding thing to do.
Today’s lovely subject of photography is Chiyoda, I really like all of my 5 dolls, even Mirai, but I won’t lie, Chiyoda is my favorite. I’ve put a lot of effort into her makeup coordinate in photoshop, after I scrapped a few, drafts, I finally had her desired appearance to show the face up artist Clockwork Angel how I wanted my Dollfie Dream to look like.

Despite taking doll pictures on a regular basis, I still lack skill and experience in many areas, for me setting up a good place for the session is always a bit difficult. I think this time I managed to create a decent set. Although it was a rather simple setup which consists of a cream colored blanket place of two chairs, a golden reflector and frosted glass in the background it turned out to be a lovely set where the doll is basked in pretty, soft and golden light.
I took those pictures in late summer which explains the light outfit (//∇//) Joking aside, I think it’s an outfit that suits Chiyoda nicely. For the shooting I decided for some playful poses, not too much on the fanservice side (⌒▽⌒ゞ.
That’s it for today, I really liked how my pictures turned out, Chiyoda looks quite gorgeous in this set. I hope you liked a few of these pictures as well.

I thought about it, I really wanted this peach him from rajikaru http://rajikaru.com/yawa/Dy_yawa2/Dy_yawa2.html but it’s difficult to get one.
I got used to the look of the joints of my dolls, maybe one day I will be able to purchase a seamless body.
Sometimes I thought about it, since I have quite a bit experience, but my photography skills might not be good or educative enough for a photography guide.

Haha, tell me about it, I continue to sit on photos taken years ago! I’m slowly working my way through my backlog at least if nothing else I can dumped the finished photos on flickr.
I was scrolling down looking at these photos I kept thinking they reminded me of something until it hit me. Apart from reminding of those naughty catholic costumes that pop up often I was reminded of Britney Spear’s Baby One More Time music video. Although there is quite a difference in volume… 😛

I just don’t always feel like editing, it was easier to gather the motivation some years ago lol.
Especially doll pics demand more attention than figure pics for example.
