Today, I’ve prepared a new doll related post, showing you my cuties Rin and Nono in a fluffy setting. I took these pictures on a rainy day, LED panel and flash helped to create the soft light, I was surprised it turned out that nice.
Everyone knows her, Kagamine Rin, in my opinion Volks made her especially nice, the youthful face portrays her gentle and sweet personality. I left her uncustomized since I think her face is almost perfect, expect for the wig
This little angel is Nono my latest doll, I got her super sweet head from Yahoo Auctions. Any resemblance to Idolmaster Nono is intentionally, I tried to make a curly wig, but that was too difficult in the end. With the raised eyebrows and Clannad style eyes she is just so adorable, it’s so enchanting to put and see her in cute clothes.

It’s good to see the slightly less loved dolls :P, I really like Rin and have been slightly crushing on her since I saw her at the Volks store display. You should take her with that shirt your next France vacation and drop by the Eiffel Tower. 😀

Nono is new and I take good care of Rin actually. I just have a crushing huge doll picture backlog, editing the files always takes longer than with figures.

I don’t know anything about dolls, or really like them. I much more prefer static figures. I don’t even like articulated action figures or Nendoroids too much either. But I do like the sessions you made, the ones I viewed that is. So I can’t say anything about the technical details I’m afraid.
About Rin – the hipster-style blouse is nice looking on her. Took me a while to figure out what’s on the sleeve – was it ceni? No, it’s nice… heh. Also, Paris pagoda? They should have put a picture of a gothic cathedral (like Saint-Denis or Notre Dame before it burned), would have been a better religious reference haha.
About Nono – is that the key to her heart? Or to Eren’s basement? And I love the little old fashioned telephone, it’s really nice that you have all these objects to use as decorations/props.

I see. It’s strange how I became a dollfie fan , when I was starting with collecting figures I didn’t like them at all.
They were super expensive and their owners appeared a bit weird to me.
A turning point was when I discovered twitter, where people really tried to make the dolls look beautiful and apealing in pictures,
I wanted to experience it myself, it sure isn’t easy to pose them, taking care of the hair or to create pretty light situations.
Its a road of despair hahaha. But I never gave up and so my interest in dolls is very high.
