Javelin – Beach Picnic! ver. – Alter

In the last year the focus of figure manufacturers finally shifted away from Fate/Go, to the so Actually, popular gatcha game Azure Lane. There already were a number of nice figures from this franchise released and others are still in the making. Especially Alter put its focus and fate towards Azure Lane characters with around 12 figures on their agenda already.

Azure Lane is actually a nice game with an interesting and ambitious storyline, it’s sometimes a bit difficult to follow with the fantasy and scifi tech talk and theories about things that I have not on my mind in general.

The bigger appeal point next to the motivating gameplay, is the character design of the female cast.
They are all kind of gorgeous, most are rather curvy, with wide hips and more than ample breasts.
Of course, there are also other type of girls in the game with less extreme proportions, they are nevertheless not less beautiful.

She was sculpted by Makio Munetoshi. The overall design is mainly based on this L2D skin out of the game, except for the inflatable swimming and picnic blanket the figure looks like on the illustration.

That leads us to the figure of today’s review, the Javelin – Beach Picnic! version. Alter made figures of these characters in either their in game outfit, special event based outfits or bikini outfits.

The figure of Javelin – Beach Picnic! version was released in October 2022. She is scaled 1/7 with the ridiculously large umbrella spear she measures 27 cm in height.

Javelin is one of the starter ships of the game, she is from Royal Navy faction. I generally really like the character of Javelin, she is very energetic and always trying her best, she also really cares about her friends and actually would help everyone in need and never leave someone behind. In the game I have put the ring on her, because she is adorable and sweet. The bigger ship girls have quite sexy assets, but I can’t deny that I like the younger ship girls of the game a lot.

She doesn’t have any ship girl rigging, but still carries a weapon of some sort, her umbrella is a spear in disguise, the double-edged spear has actually very sharp ends, Alter provided safety covers to protect the environment from accidentally getting pierced.

Javelin is an insanely cute girl, she has a curious open mouth and beautiful blue eyes, that look extremely detailed and lively. Her cheeks have some blush marks which add more cuteness to the figure.

Javelin is an insanely cute girl, she has a curious open mouth and beautiful blue eyes, that look extremely detailed and lively. Her cheeks have some blush marks which add more cuteness to the figure.

The pose portrays her as bubbly, youthful girl who is really looking forward to the beach picnic, although she has to carry everything herself. The raised arm with the picnic basket is very cute, another cool feature is the picnic equipment consisting of plates and fancy cups. you can’t do anything with them and it’s not so easy to see, but it’s nice to know that it’s there.

Her hairstyle looks fantastic, the bangs and the voluminous wide and high ponytail have complex styling with sharp lines, but it still has a fluffy appearance, The lavender color is pleasing to the eye, the transparency effect ion it is actually magical. The anime style and appearance has been recreated perfectly. The hibiscus blossom on her head adds some tropical flair, it seems to be a must have with beach themed bikini figures these days.

Javelin is probably a teenage girl, let’s say that she has the appearance of a young adult though.
She has a pretty belly and relatively wide hips. Although she is not as well-endowed as her big sisters,
she has a beautiful bodyline with a sexy little butt, the round buttocks look great under the bikini.
The small chest combined with wide hips and lovely legs is simply wonderful.
Her body is highlighted even more by the overall smooth sculpting.

She is wearing an adorable but also obviously scantily clad dark blue bikini; it only covers the necessary areas. The neck holder top is cute with the added frilly line at the lower end, the white stripes add a sporty touch to it. From the side you can see the armpit and the cute boobs, the left arm shows a net tattoo which looks a little bit unusual.

It’s a really attractive and fancy bikini, the frilly, ribbon like pieces with their light opaqueness and delicate sculpting are very pretty. At the left side of her hips is a big blue ribbon, attached to it is a sparkling gem

The figures round base has an ocean shore pattern printed on it, facing in the direction behind the figure.
It has angled foot support with metal peg, that supports the figure in her complex foot position.

Final Words

Javelin – Beach Picnic! ver. is both a very sexy and sweet looking figure. Actually, everything about her beautiful, be it the adorable face, the bodyline with attractive proportions or the great looking hair.
I also really like the design of Javelin’s bikini, it’s again a great combination of sexy and cute elements.

I have ordered the figure for 18.800 Yen without shipping. One hand it’s a lot, but compared to other recent figures, Javelin was affordable. It’s generally very impressive craftsmanship that you can expect from the figures of today, especially when you decide to buy something made by Alter.

Hi Bakayaro, yes it’s now a nostalgic blog about figures 😀
I’m one of the few that didn’t stop liking this kind of thing.
I have a little backlog at the moment, but I will make those post sooner or later.
Figures became even more appealing in recent years, but also expensive.
It would be nice seeing you return, your pictures were always an inspiration for me to try harder.
Thanks for your comment, I was happy to hear from you again.
