The Pola – Seaside Coincidence version which has been manufactured by ALTER, she is the subject of todays review. Pola is one of the protagonists of the Azure Lane mobile game, there she is a heavy cruiser of the Sardegna Empire.

Personally I think those 2D2 skins are totally getting out of hand with the shipgirls being flirty in such an aggressive and horny fashion. Even I get embarrassed by that. They desperately try getting laid by the commander, no I think they would be the ones on top. Maybe they need some soap in their mouth instead the commander.

Yeah, well that is the origin of the Pola – Seaside Coincidence version figure, a cute looking Pola with a yellow bikini and a dirty mind…

The figure was released in November 2023, the man who was in charge of her figure adaptation was Missile without a doubt, a very talented sculptor. The scale is 1/7 with an overall height of 16cm she comes without any additional or optional parts, you have a metal peg base and can just place the figure where it’s desired to be.

It was actually a figure I was looking forward to a lot, although on arrival I wasn’t that excited to learn that Pola is a figure of the small kind. In terms of height she is smaller than the Javelin – Beach Picnic! version with her overall 27 cm, even when you substract the umbrella their sizes still don’t match very well. Obviously Pola is a lot more well endowed, but even when taking into account that the Pola figure has a more compact pose it’s still very small for 1/7 scale.

I don’t want to be the nagging bitch here, since to be honest the small size really is the only downside of the figure.

The figures hair with it’s bold purple color is a real eyecatcher, there also is the cute twintail hairstyle with a little gradient effect that turns the hairs tips into transparency. Pola also has cool looking sunglasses, they can’t be taken off.

The manufacturer gave beautiful make up to the small figure’s head, you really have to look closer to notice all the little details on the face, I also really like the figures beautiful eyes, the decals have a really high dpi resolution and don’t look printed on at all. Her blush is super cute and so is that tiny open mouth of hers with the tiny front teeth.

The bikini version of Pola is quite enchanting, of course Azure Lane’s general character design follows a simple fanservice direction. The proportions are nevertheless beautiful and even when dressed one can figure out how the characters would look without clothes. Pola is thicc in the best sense of the word, a chubby body that isn’t looking unattractive. Pola has some pounds more, even considered to other “heav cruisers” girls. I adore her wide hips with the surprisingly big butt and the chubby thighs of hers. Her breasts have a sense of weight, a lot of weight apparently, Azure Lane character designers really pay attention to the soft looking breasts and the influence of gravity. The stomach is also nicely sculpted and replicates a nice softness.

She is wearing a yellow bikini with glossy texture, one could argue if it’s the right size anyway. Her breasts barely are supported by the bikini top, so we witness sideboobs, underboobs. The bikini bottom is also doing it’s best to stay in position. No one would wear stockings on the beach, but it honestly looks sexy.

Well, there is a starfish on her butt, I wonder if starfish would actually start to nibble on the human skin under those conditions, someone should take it off asap I’d advise.

The complexity of Pola’s pose make it so that her best angles are from behind, from the front the figure is nicely sculpted as well, but it looks a little strange when her head is turned backwards.

In the middle of the internet world being in a woke wave I really question some of the review sentences I generally use and have used , I don’t want to be considered a pervert, what I do here is pure admiration of the female body, shouldn’t make a difference if it’s a otherworldly 2D beauty or not mind you.

Final Words

Pola – Seaside Coincidence version is a very expressive figure with a beautiful face and an extremely attractive body. The yellow bikini is very pretty, the sculpting of the thicc body is amazingly nice, the details are all there but in the end the Pola is honestly a bit small. The figure deserved to be a damn 1/6 scale statue, not a barely 1/7 scaled beach queen.

AmiAmi still has her on sale when you like bikini figures in general this would be a nice addition in any way

I ordered myself that probably overpriced figure of Narmya, although she looks cute and comes with a gigantic dioran base. I always loved Granblue Fantasy, but didn’t order any figure based on the origin, this is probably the best I could go for and so I don’t think I will regret purchasing her.

Seishori Sister Petronille – Regular Edition – Vibrastar

And here we have a fantasy style nun with a beautiful face, coincidentially it’s also made by Vibrastar.

Sister Olivia – Vibrastar

A slutty nun became a rather popular topic in the figure industry recently and I think that one is quite lovely. A two face option and a cast off feature, she also has inverted nipples. I like this expression a lot.

Sakura Kinomoto – Cardcaptor Sakura Anime 25th Anniversary – Furyu

This cute figure of Sakura is quite great looking and looks like the cheerful character from the anime. As late fan of CCS I have really fond memories of the show, even though it was an anime intended for the younger audience.

Kashino – Hot Springs Relaxation – Mimeyoi

This Kashino design is cute. Ok, the boobs look a bit difficult to handle, but I don’t mind, the figure looks great overall. It’s a big figure, but the pose would make it not impossible to display the figure somewhere . I don’t really understand the hype for 1/4 scale figures, the size is somehow problematic and not intended when you want to have more figures.

Miki Narahashi – Frog

A figure I have been watching the figure since the early prototype stage. I like the lewd volleyball theme, the girl looks great. Although with 39 cm and 30,000 Yen it turned out bigger and more expensive than anticipated, I’m still very interested.

Rikka Takarada – Wall Figure – Good Smile Company

I really like the idea of a figure on a swing, it’s an usual metaphor in the coming of age theme in anime. This figure of Rikka can hang around somewhere. Included is an installation set. Rikka looks adorable and the pose makes it even better, but the low price is still somewhat surprising.

Marin Kitagawa – My Dress-Up Darling – Max Factory

The figure looks great, but I’m not entirely convinced by this Marin figure, of course she shouldn’t be bad, since Chieri is one of my favorite sculptors, I should not be dissatisfied with the figure anyway.

Hatsune Miku – GT Project Racing Miku: 2023 Ver. – Good Smile Company

I like this Toridamono styled Miku, she appears really cute and funny with her fang and hyper expression. Of course we also have those lovely thighs and a great looking outfit.

Fuyuko Mayuzumi – Off.the.Re.cord Ver. – Alter

I honestly thought that was a figure of Yoshiko Tsushima, apparently it is not, but however I am always grateful when a GK kit is adapted into a PVC figure and this one was even chosen by Alter, it should be awesome in the end

I really like the concept of this figure, but I have never heard of the manufacturer, what happens a lot recently, as old figure collector I’m more used to buying from manufacturers I grew up in this hobby. It’s a very styles and expressive design I should probably give it a try.

Suzu Kanade – Exorcist Ninja Costume Ver. – Union Creative

Suzu is quite adorable in her ninja outfit and her proportions are quite nice. The figure puts the focus on the wide hips and round butt. I only watched a few episodes of her origin, but it seems to be funny and entertaining.

Tsuduri Amagasa – Shy Girls in Love – Goldenhead+

I don’t know who this character is and I probably bought more than enough bikini figures recently, although this figure shows a different flavor with her strong expression and the intention of getting the sun lotion applied by somebody.

Fox Fairy, Mo Li – Animester

Another unknown manufacturer, but I like what they did here, a beautiful fox lady with a very expressive face and dramatic make up.

There are a number of nice figures that are going to be released around autumn 2019. For me t’s quite hard to decide which one I would like the most. Buying more figures than 15 is definitely out of question though.

Lucoa – Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid -Casual Wear ver.

I really like the Lucoa character and this figure of her is a nice adaptation of the curvy dragon. It is quite nice how the 1/7 scaled figure stands there with a cute pose and the main outfit from the “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” anime.
She is announced to be released in August and her official non discounted price is 17.800 Yen *omg*

Emilia – Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World

Well, I rarely seen a show more broken than Re:ZERO XD not because it was bad, but because it’s a story with highly disturbing events. I don’t want get reminded of it. Nevertheless this Emilia looks wonderful and her buddy Puck is the cutest. This Emilia is going to get released in September. Her figure is scaled 1/8 and the official price is 13.800 Yen.

Akagi – DreamTech – Azur Lane [Rakuen no Higanbana]

I’ve never seen a bikini figure with a more perfect psycho expression on the face than this Akagi and she looks great that way. The figure seems to be really nicely sculpted,also pose and outfit look terrific. She is going to get released in September and the official price asked for her is also 13.800 Yen

Super Sonico China Dress ver. – Emon Restaurant Series

Can’t have enough Sonico figures, can I? With this alternative hairstyle and tight china dress the figure looks quite… tasty. She is looking cute and has the obligatory big boobs and wide hips of Sonico. She is scaled 1/7 and will probably be released in October and officially costs 12.800 Yen.

Atago – Manatsu no Koushinkyoku ver. – Azur Lane

I think this Atago looks better than her recently listed sister Atago even though she is way more expensive. The figure has a beautiful head with a great flirty expression and nicely shaped body. The white bikini and beach accessories gives her some elegance. She will be released in October or by the manufacturers habit some time LATER. Officially this Atago costs 17.800 Yen and is scaled 1/7.

Akiko Takatsuki – Midareta Tanaoroshi

Actually this post feels a bit unnecessary, since the figure I probably like the most from the list is Takatsuki Akiko from Daiki Kougyou. It’s an adaptation from illustrator Ojo and I really like the unique facial features of the figure she is is beautiful and a little lewd, I like that She is castoff able, too. my only bothering thing is the towel on her head. She is also going to get released in October With an 1/5 scale the figure is rather big, her price is about 18.000 yen.

You see, I have a few problems to decide to preorder the last figure for 2019.
Whom from the figures listed would be your choice as last figure order of 2019?

The prices became too crazy recently I also think about only ordering 8 figures for 2020, the stress on the budget has been too high for the past 3 months and space is another factor, so I realized that I can’t continue like in the last few years, so the plan is to only order 8 a year, I hope I can endure that ^^
