The figure was released in late November 2017 and I received her shortly before christmas. Hanasaki Marika was sculpted by Hashimoto Ryou, my favorite figure sculptor if I had to name one. She is scaled 1/7 and 22 cm in height.

The figure includes a few parts to assemble a bath corner diorama with mirror, plant, a cup and toothbrushes, it’s really cool that the doors can be opened and that the light works. It’s definetely a nicely made addition to the figure with a convincing design. Although it is also possible to display the figure on a smaller base without the bathroom closet.

The two toothbrushes and too wide shirt could indicate that the character spend the night with her boyfriend.

The figure has been captured in an interesting scene, where the cute Marika brushes her teeth half asleep. Haha she is actually dressed like someone who fell out of bed. Her slightly surprised and still dozy expression is quite adorable.

Marika is a very curvy girl with mature proportions. Her ripe pawpaws and juicy peach bottom are quite inviting. Of course you would always turn the figure in a way that she would look at you, but she has beautiful boobs for sure.

What is more prominent though are her wide hips and the beautiful big butt attached to them. Bigger butts aren’t so common in the figure market, this pink haired figure is a great exception though. The way the panties are digging into her skin accentuates the nice volume and shape. I love it together with these marvelously sculpted thighs (/∇＼*)○♡.

The figure has no additionally cast off magic, you get what you see, nevertheless it would be no real Native figure without additionally lewdness, below the hanging panties you can notice the figures accurately sculpted sweet spot,
it’s not too obvious so that it’s actually a nice detail of the Hanasaki Marika figure.

It’s very obvious that Marika is sexy, but looking at these cute, striped ribbons and hairstyle one can never be too sexy for having kawaii pigtails.The style of her fringe is very cute and girly, the longer parts of the hair have a more mature appeal. The pink hair is nicely done and shaded in soft and also more vivid tones of pastel pink.

I also llike the figures nicely articulated pose, from boobs to butt … EHH! from head to toe of course (⁄ ⁄^⁄ᗨ⁄^⁄ ⁄) it’s an interesting and convincing pose. I really like how her arm partially hides the left breast for example. Additionally the movement of the hair and white shirt have a kind of elegance and make the figure more dynamic.

The face is great as well with the 1/3 closed, blue and beautiful eyes, distintive eye makeup and flushed cheeks. Together and with the small opening of her cute mouth an appealing expression has been created.

Her expression appears ashamed and of slightly pouting character, maybe we should not stare too much at her butt.

The illustration by Pyon-Kti has been adapted very pretty and faithfully, except the sweat traces, but that is probably difficult to recreate and no desired detail anyway. For me the nice skintexture and smooth body sculpting is perfect.

I really appreciate the great looking bathroom corner that was added to the main figure. It was desinged with love and attention to detail. The “wooden” framed mirror, the tiles around the sink or the faucet itself. The tiny accesoires as well as the opening doors and light feature bring the figure to life. The diorama is also pretty useful for photography.

On summary Native’s Hanasaki Marika is a lovely figure with gorgeous curvy body and appealing face. I like her proportions a lot, Hashimoto Ryou did a great job again with this buxom but at the same time cute character. The quality is great, only on second thought the figure could be scaled 1/6 but it’s allright to see her as 1/7 figure instead.

Figures of Hoshizora, Rin and Yazawa, Nico were also part of this lineup of three.

In general Hanayo is a shy and demure person, but she is an ambitious Idol fan. Deep down she wanted to be part of µ’s very early, but thought that she wasn’t good enough and had the wrong personality for it. Rin and Maki litterally had to drag her to the roof to make her decide to join the group, but actually Hanayo took the final step. Episode 4 of Love Live! School Idol Project season one was really great. Eventually, Hanayo can overcome her shyness and is able perform on stage with everyone on a same level. I really like Hanayo for everything she is, her looks, the cute behaviour and funny antics. Oh and her obsession with rice is just hilarious

Hanayo looks perfectly like Hanayo in this figure adadaption from the good looking hair to the chin she has a pretty head. She is very charming with her beautiful eyes which are precisely printed and a cute mouth with her gentle smile.
I was really happy that Hanayo came with glasses, I like such figure a lot, Hanayo is my 2nd figure with such a feature.

Often in anime media you see glasses as kind of beauty defect and to be exchanged with contact lenses and characters suddenly getting prettier, to me such such things are unnecessary, wearing glasses doesn’t mean that you are an ugly duckling. I always thought of glasses as fashionable item, also before it became an hipster item for people that don’t need it. Aside from being a big help for people with bad eyes it can give a certain look interesting or also attractive look to a person. Hanayo can also be displayed without glasses, but why should I do that? she looks gorgeous this way .

Hanayo’s regular school uniform set looks lovely, it was adapted faithfully and looks elegantly casual, the dark blue blazer with it’s dark shading has a convincing look, also the white collar and sleeves from the shirt below give it a lively appearance. Her skirt is painted in a lighter blue color it has a nice pattern, although it’s not as detailed as the blazer, it also looks good. The number of details and the texture give her outfit a very good and dynamic look, the cute ribbon around her neck and the golden buttons add the finishing touch to her appealing uniform. Hanayo likes to wear panty hose, the brown one suits her very well and the dark shading at the right places accentuates the girls beautiful legs.

The cute Hanayo is a modest figure, nevertheless with some tricks here and there the sculptor managed to accentuates her pretty body with the help of her clothes. The blazers sits quite close to her body, which highlights her narrow waist and wider hips. As already mentioned the pantyhose also makes her legs very pretty, haha I really like her cute thighs. Alltogether the outfit and bodysculpting gives Koizumi, Hanayo an attractive but also still a decent appearance.

The chosen pose of Hanayo is very nice, the lively articulation or her body, limps and hands is cute and appealing.

Final Words

This figure of Hanayo turned out lovely, sweet and lively. Even though when ALTER plays in another league with their fancy Love Live! School Idol Festival figures, FREEing also did a very good job with their Koizomi, Hanayo in her regular school uniform that follows the anime design closely, considering the price it was a real surprise for me that the figure turned out so nicely made. I did not always have the best opinion of the smaller scale figures from FREEing, but sculptor Yokoyama and the manufacturer apparently did an excellent job, since this figure here is surprisingly detailed and elaborately sculpted, a pretty uniform, a sweet pose and most importantly a beautiful head make an appealing figure out of her. As fan of Hanayo I’m extremely satisfied with this figure and happy about my decision to order her.
 

Yeah, todays figure on reviewis Sailor Sapphire Succubus made by Orchid Seed

Sailor Sapphire Succubus  is scaled 1/6 and also in her compact pose, she still measures 18 cm. The figure was released in mid July 2015, after an tormenting, endless delivery time, I finally received my darling. Haha it might have been love on first sight or I was bewitched.
Since Kyonyuu Fantasy (Shamsiel ♡) I have a liking for playful and cute Succubus characters.

The figure was sculpted by Mohio who also had his talented hands on Alleyne from Orchid Seed and other sexy figures. The proportions are typical for the art of illustrator Mogudan, buxom females with sturdy, curvy bodies and huge, nevertheless nicely shaped boobs.

Per definition a Succubus is a demonic creature which is preying on mens lifeforce, but this Succubus figure also has this angelic, cute face that gives her a gentle atmosphere.

The figures pose is bold, literally. Sapphire is squatting on her base. Such apose is not very elegant, always used in a lewd content and rather shameless with a white thong. One hand is placed above her right breast, the left hand slightly touches her bikini zone in a teasing fashion. Her tilted head makes the pose more dynamic and gives her a pretty expression.

The rounded facial features add a large amount of cuteness to the figure and Sapphire has a youthful and friendly look. I especially like the alluring green eyes and the style of her mouth.

The figure has super long hair which is covering most of her back and ends around the height of her knees. The tips separate in many single strands with gently curved ends. The front of Sapphire’s face is decorated by a deep fringe, her face is framed by two long strands.

I’m honest, I like the body of Sailor Sapphire Succubus, she’s amazingly sexy, everything about her body is rather voluptuos. The skintone is slightly yellow and together with the smooth sculpting a quite soft illusion was created. Her bare shoulders are also something erotic.

Compared to most other figures with these proportions, Sapphire has a normal sized head.

The boobs are on the huge size of things, I have nothing compareable in my collection.
The sculptor paid attention to create nicely shaped pair of breasts, it’s rather natural shape. The figure has a prominent areola with puffy nipples that have a deeper dent in the middle.

The body is a good combination of well trained and chubbines. Forearm, midriff and thighs appear brawny, while she obviously has some flab around her hips. The legs appeared a bit bigger in the preview pictures, she still has very strong thighs but with a reasonable size.

Aside from a hot body, the figure has more obvious Succubus elements, pointy ears, red horns, small wings and a demon tail.

The “Sailor” stands for the uniform she is wearing, I didn’t use it in this review because of personal preferences, I don’t really like it on the figure. The clothes make it look like the lady weights 30 pounds more and a school uniform appears a little weird on a adult person.

Half nude just looks to devilishly good on her, so I wasn’t eager to use her outfit. What I like about her outfit are the super detailed gloves, the little window with the pentagram is so cool.

With the wide shoulders and impressive bosom I tried a bikini top of my 1/3 scaled Mirai SmartDoll on this figure with some tolerance I would say it fits.

Final Words

To sum it up Sapphire is a beautiful figure and adaption of the art from Mogudan. She has excellent body sculpting with soft looking skin and cuddly curves. Her face turned out even better than I anticipated, I didn’t expected her to look that adorable in the final product. Overall the quality is of this figure made by Orchid Seed is also very convincing.

I made no secret about that I didn’t like her clothes from the start, but since it’s a castoff figure thats no real problem. The buxom design of this figure is polarizing, some like or can at least tolerate such proportions some not. Well, when looking at popular anime shows recently, busty characters are no rarity anymore.

I can only say that I’m utmost happy about this purchase of the super sweet Sailor Sapphire Succubus figure. She easily is one of the top competitors for My best figure of 2015.

Here is another figure review for 2015 even though the figure was released a few months earlier in July 2014. It’s the quite lovely Asuka – Inochika version manufactured by ALTER.

I totally underestimated this figure, I always thought her face looked somehow bad and only her body was great, but now as received her Asuka is one cute, chubby and cuddly figure in my collection, sorry Sonico. You know, I always prefered girls with natural haircolor ;D

This figure marked ALTER’s first step into more ecchi territory with Hashimoto Ryou who also worked on ALTER’s Sonico – Santa Swimsuit ver.  in charge of Asuka, he seems to be very skilled at crafting curves and I’m looking forward to his 1/6 scaled Saber EXTRA this year.

Here I already reviewed other figures of Senran Kagura made by Phat Company and Vertex.

The cute Hibari, the spirited Katsuragi and the not so convincing Yagyuu. It’s rather unusual for me to buy so many figures from the same origin, but I really enjoyed the manga of it and partially the anime. Senran Kagura exists in different media, video games, manga and an anime aired not long ago. The manga in my opinion has the most appealing style. The Senran Kagura girls are popular for having buxom and soft bodies, more than Sonico for example.

Asuka has a cute hairstyle with a bushy ponytail, wrapped together by a cute and large but thin ribbon. The hair has a number of single strands. The figure has a sweet face with the tilted head, chubby cheeks and blush and the super detailed eyes she’s quite adorable.
The detailed mouth looks also good and gives the girl a slightly worried expression.

Heidi Klum would probably disagree, but a little bit more body fat is no bad thing in particular, also on figures. Asuka is still miles away from being fat, but her whole body is nicely rounded.

Bikini figures often show a slender girl in skimpy clothes with slim bodies, these are often not considered to be as interesting as figures of dressed up heroines. As manufacturer these days, you can either give them more dynamic poses or increase the amount of details, to make bikini figures less “somehow plain”. Increasing the amount of details worked on Asuka.

I like all these small fat pads on Asuka, she has a lot of womanly charm with her wide hips, fairly sized boobs, niely shaped thighs and the cute soft belly. From the backside you can admire the great looking round butt. Overall the figure has a very feminine body.

Don’t get your hopes too high the only thing that is castoff able is her red scarf. 

Her soft and curvy body has more detailed curves on par with ecchi figures. All her proportions appear balanced, there is no tiny head issue and her big boobs don’t look too large when they are compared to the rest of her body.

Asuka is wearing a shirt with a bikini and thigh highs, if I remember correctly the girls in Senran Kagura wear bikinis under their clothes. The halfway downed shirt reveals her beautiful shoulder blades. It is something like a MOE point, Tamaki from Max Factory also used it.

Asuka wears quite tight clothes that dig into her skin, to accentuate the illusion of her soft body and make her look sexy. The under boob effect is attractive, as well as the squeezed shape when Asuka lifts one of her bikini strings. The body sculpting is incredibly good, the small fold here, at the side of her breast is just a lovely detail (￣▽+￣*)

A bikini is by default a simple piece of clothes, yet ALTER managed to make it look more complex, as if it was made of several parts with realistic seams, also the different colored striped are sculpted as lines. As student of ninja arts, she’s also wearing armguards, they are also nicely sculpted like everything on her. Oh, she also has nice hands and fingers.

The pose… well, what is she doing here looking shy and flustered? Actually she is a good girl, the pose should  portray her while dressing up and closing her neck holder bikini. It’s a bit erotic how her finger of the left hand presses into the “soft” tissue.

Final Words

This figure of Asuka from Senran Kagura turned out really, really, I would say especially good.

It is a well made figure of a curvy and slightly chubby young girl, featuring the distinctive character design of Senran Kagura. It’s incredible how soft she looks even though it’s just a pvc figure, the illusion is perfect. Body and pose the figure create an intimate atmosphere. ALTER managed to produce a quite sexy, I would even say a sensual figure without relying on a castoff option or showing her bare boobs. Asuka also has a pretty face, the big eyes make her really adorable.

I had a lot of fun with taking pictures of her, I hope the pictures show that and also how photogenic Asuka is. It would have been and still would be nice to see them making another Senran Kagura figure, Ikaruga for example

Based on Shingeki no Bahamut, a popular smartphone and tablet Game, Max Factory manufactured Cerberus, the cute dog from hell. I love cute demon girl characters, danger mixed with some cuteness is something I really appreciate in anime media and figures.

I tried to play the Game, but after many crashes I was fed up after a few days of playing, maybe the Game was buggy or my late Xperia U couldn’t met the requirements. Nevertheless the Game has a nice concept, it is one of those card collecting things. A distinctive feature of Shingeki no Bahamut are elaborate character artworks with rich details you would not expect from a simple flash game. Especially the demon class character designs are super appealing.

Do you have a favorite character design in Shingeki no Bahamut?
There are many great designs, but I really like Lilith+, it would be great to see a figure of her.

Figure manufacturers like Kotobukiya and Amakuni already noticed the games potential and made figures of Olivia and Dark General. Olivia is the most popular figure and will be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about figures from this Shingeki no Bahamut.

Olivia and Dark General weren’t really my type, they looked a bit too serious for my taste, so I waited for Max Factories more playful figure of Cerberus.

Cerberus was sculpted by Katagiri Youhei his first scale figure to date, she is scaled 1/7 and has a height of 23,5 cm. The figure was released in late July, back then I got her for 11,130 Yen.

She comes as nearly completely assembled figure, just put her on the base and equip the dogs with their halo parts. The halo’s are made out of clear plastic, since I was scared of breaking them, I’ve put them back in the box after I’ve taken a few shots with them.

Cerberus has hand puppet like dogs as hands, she has no optional human hands, well, there is an official artwork where she has hands, but Max Factory decided against such an option.

Review

After escaping from her box, Cerberus gives her servant owner a warm welcome with her charming looks and a cheerful dance like pose she emits a certain atmosphere. Together with the very smooth skin and the shiny armor the figure has a detailed top quality appearance.

In ancient Greek mythology Cerberus is supposed to be a big dog like creature with three heads. Fortunately this Cerberus is no ugly dog, she still has the qualities of a woman. With her hand puppets she has three heads and meets the minimal requirements for a dog from hell. Her dogs look like Spitz breed, they are a comical aspect of her, they have different personalities, the left one is a rather wild puppy while the other one looks shy and meek.

Cerberus has a twintail hairstyle colrored in redish brown and with darker shading. The twintails show a great movement. The detailed and partially singled out strands look really great. At the purple tips there is a nice transparency effect. At the top of her head she has the ears of a fox spirit, the insides have a fur like texture and are painted in a light brown color.

An unique feature of her face are the triangle shaped eyes, in general  a sign of aggression.
The Iris has a pretty non human design, they give the figure a lively and mesmerizing flair.

A cool thing is, that Cerberus mood and expression seems to change depending on the viewing angle, from the left she looks charmingly evil with a great smirk, but when turned more to the right her facial expression becomes cuter or shows a nearly kind smile.

The clothes make a real eye catcher out of Cerberus, her bustier corsage combination is really pretty. Colored in metallic purple with elaborate golden ornaments in a surprisingly detailed fashion, also the paint has been applied very clean without sloppy over painting issues.

The metallic bikini panties are sweet. Also her outfit which is supposed to be armor is actually more related to fancy lingerie, only the armor at her arms leaves a heavy impression. At her legs she is wearing some interesting stockings over her shiny, purple high heels boots.

Cerberus actually has no tail, instead there is a veil surfacing at the back of her corsage, which maybe is something close to a tail, however it has a nice, brown to orange gradient effect and gives her a more dynamic appearance in combination with her hair.

The figure has an appealing design and very attractive body sculpting, with her proportions Cerberus is really my type of girl, even when actually I’m not so specified about these things, especially not when buying figures, but when looking at her I’m really happy ^^.  She’s petite and very feminine in her appearance. Cerberus has a slim waist and sexy hips. As person she is not too tall, her legs have a very appealing length with lovely meaty thighs and a cute butt.

Well, her body sculpting is really great, be it the very well defined collarbones or her pushed up boobs. Also the smooth, slightly muscular belly should be taken into account. From the backside you can also admire her lovely shoulder blades and the previously mentioned butt.

Final Words

Yeah, time to put together my thoughts abut Max Factory’s Cerberus. I think that I am really satisfied with how the final figure turned out. I was really looking forward to the day of her release, I couldn’t get her fast enough. The figure has a charming face with great eyes and appealing expression. Her outfit is beautiful, really detailed and compliments her attractive body very well. The sculptor did a fantastic job in bringing sex appeal and playfulness together in this figure of Cerberus. The beautiful demon girl theme has been done in a convincing way.

There are a lot of positive things to say about Cerberus sama, but one thing that bothers me a bit are the Halo connectors. I’d feel more comfortable when they have been made of metal, I really wouldn’t feel confident to put her on the shelf with the halo’s attached, sooner or later these clear plastic connectors are bound to snap, especially with my luck with such things.

Max Factory proved again that they are a top tier manufacturer, their figures have an outstanding level of craftsmanship and Cerberus is another great example of this.

Hello Nyan – san, today I will show you a figure of an under aged girl in a leotard suit *cough*.

What!? Who said lolicon, I’ll sue you right away! ^o^

Back to topic here is Maria Takayama from the very nice anime Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai.

The decision of ordering her wasn’t based on my liking for the character. Maria is a ten year old nun and actually one of the lesser important side characters. She is portrayed as a very gullible kid with a liking for snacks. She got in contact with the other characters when she was tricked by Yozora to be the supervising teacher of the Neighbours Club which is the meeting ground for it’s members. Maria is most attached to Kobato’s brother Kodaka in a sibling like way.

I’ve heard about a second season, so maybe Maria will get some development or even a slightly bigger role. Anyway my liking for the character aside I was enchanted by the cute look of this figure and the style of the artist Buriki, who draw the illustration this figure is based on and also the illustrations for the Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Light Novel. He is a very talented illustrator and I love the way he draws the faces of his characters in a very appealing fashion.

Maria Takayama was manufactured by Max Factory and released in the end of August 2012. The figure is scaled 1/7 scaled and has a kneeling height of 130 mm. actually she seems more like a 1/6 figure, but such loli characters always have bigger heads, so maybe it’s just my imagination.

Maria is actually supposed to be displayed with a figure of Kobato, her rival in getting the attention of Kodaka. I didn’t order this one for certain reasons I will mention later in the review.

They have a height of 80 mm which makes them bigger as petite Nendoroids, but smaller than real Nendoroids. Their sculpting and painting quality can be considered as very good, the parts are painted very well and the faces also have lovely rosy cheeks *blush*. There are some minor flaws I will mention later in this review. Everyone of these small piglets have a few little features.

The Guitar version comes in a casual dress with a mini skirt, brown boots and a t-shirt, extra parts are a guitar and a towel. She seems a bit exhausted from her concert but she’s still happy. In direct comparison with the other two versions, she appears a little boring in that outfit.

The Demonbane version is one of my favorites, Sonico cosplays as Al Azif from Demonbane.
This Sonico looks very cute in her frilly white outfit with the red ribbons. Her happy face has a nice upper front teeth line, its also nice how her belly is exposed. Her feature are the rotateable arms.

The Valentine version is my second favorite Sonico from this set, she is inspired by this 1/7 scaled Soniko figure that Orchid Seed produced in 2009 showing the naked apron outfit in a sexy way. Im no big fan of the naked apron attire, but a sexualised chibi Soniko is quite amusing.

You can see some sideboobs and the white thong between her buttocks. This small darling is very photogenic I have to say. Her pose and the shy face expression are a very good combination. As feature she has a cute cake and is showing some curves, one cute detail are her house slippers.

With my copy of the set I had not much luck, as I was unpacking them I already snapped the neck of the Guitar version *damn* I actually wanted to swap the heads of the figures, but after the bad experience I planned not to do more damage to these figures. Another flaw is that the Demonbane version doesn’t stand straight on her base unfortunately she is leaned slightly backwards. In terms of durability the Apron version is the most steady one.

My fellow blogger Sevie apparently received a better copy and had more trust into durability of these 3 figures, in her review she swapped heads and tried more interesting things than I did.

Overall these three figures of Sonico have a nice quality in terms of sculpting and painting, far better than the petite Nendoroids. From my biased impressions they are no figures for heavy duty, not something for playing around, just place them on a good spot and let them be would my advise. Nevertheless the quality is good, but for future figures of the Choco*Ochi line Orchid Seed should improve the connection between figure and base, I don’t trust these flimsy pegs.

Hi mina-san today I will show you a review about a figure which I was searching for a long time. As I started with collecting figures my sources for figure related news were very limited and so it was no surprise that some nice figures slipped under my radar. After some time I was able to find  more sites with figure related news and data, like nekomagic and myfigurinecollection.

Often old figures turn out as hard to get especially when you are very interested in them, well you sometimes find these coveted figures for crazy prices at ebay, or if you are lucky you can get them for reasonable and even cheap prices. The sale feature at myfigurinecollection.com is also a good place to aquire rare and older figures. Luckily so I was able to get nearly every old figure I wanted, like  Alter’s Reinforce II, Alter’s Al Azif and last month I was finally able to get the lovely Melissa Seraphy from Good Smile Company which I always wanted to have in my collection.

That was the intro part lets start with the main part now, Melissa Seraphy was manufactured by GSC and released in August 2006, yes this figure is that old, her sculptor Muraki Akihide only had his fingers on this single figure, what is a bit strange when you look how well this figure Im talking about is done. The price at that time was about 5500 Yen, I had to pay 14476 Yen to persuade the seller to hand out her Melissa Seraphy figure XD. Well I don’t regret anything about the deal, I had enough time to deliberate about whether I really want this figure or not.

The origin of Melissa is Wagamama Capriccio, a visual novel game released by Unisonshift in 2005. There she is one of the three main heroines, Melissa is a princess from the underworld. I don’t have further knowledge about the game, but the CG looks nice ^^ From the official site I could just gather some informations about her body measurements, she is 1,48m in height weights 40 kg and her three sizes are 72–47–74, haha sorry for such useless informations ^o^.

This figure of Melissa comes with a castoffable pumpkin skirt, and a slightly grey transparent base, unfortunately the base only supports her when Melissa wears the pumpkin skirt, since I prefer this figure being castoff, I made a base myself out of different parts, it turned out a bit slope, but it supports her very well. Even when I prefer Melissa being castoff the pumpkin skirt is a great accessory, the cutted halloween face looks very funny and the ribbon adds a feminine touch to it, it is sculpted in a very clean way and has great shading effects as well.

Hair & Face

As you can see Melissa is a blonde, my second blonde figure btw ^^, the bangs and the backside of her hair show a nice level of detail with all these strands, the curls and the shading. Only on top it looks like a helmet, regarding her age her hair is done vey well . On top of her head she has a golden colored crown, how it behooves for a princess. As you’ve might noticed the small ahoge looks a bit strange, as I looked through my pictures I noticed the damage. Maybe I damaged the ahoge or if it was like that before I unpacked her, but I will be able to fix it with some glue.

The face of Melissa is just dropdead georgous, the dark thin eyebrows, these expressive and beautiful green eyes, the natural looking blushmarks on her cheeks and the cute open mouth
with the fang are the details that make her face so adorable. Melissa is so cute ^-^

Body & Outfit

Melissa Seraphy has a rather small and petite body, she’s around the same size as my Itou Noemi and Maaryan figure. At her upper part there isn’t much to talk about aside from her being a DFC type. The figure has a nice belly and the waiste and hip area are making me dizzy, especially in combination with the nice nice small and low cutted panties.

Also the wings are a nice bodyparts of this Melissa Seraphy figure.

In terms of outfit her shiny black top with the skull logo on it looks really cool and I love the design of these shiny black gloves. The single fingers are a nice detail. There is a castoff option, but this figure is supposed to be displayed with her skirt on, because the base can’t support Melissa without the skirt. As long as you don’t want to build a selfmade base for her like I did, you have to live with that restriction. Personally I don’t want to have her best parts hidden :p, maybe some people prefer her with the skirt, but honestly I think she looks great both ways.

Painting

The paintjob of this figure looks fantastic, the shiny parts of her outfit are great. There are stronger shading effects on her skin and on her wings, somehow it gives the figure a Garagekit like look. From some people I’ve heard that they have a copy of Melissa with a shiny belly, but my version doesn’t have this problem, its all nice and matte. The pumpkin skirt also has a great paintjob, it is slightly shiny with dark shading effects on it. There is no noticeable fading on her colors, which is very good for a 5 year old figure I hope it stays like this some more years. Have you ever thought about the lifespan of a figure, I hope the plastic doesn’t get brittle or that the color comes off,someday would be quite horrible

Final Words

Im totally happy about this figure purchase and that I finally had the chance to get this Melissa Seraphy figure. Regarding her age, this Melissa Seraphy figure turned out to be a masterpiece.  She’s exactly my kind of figure, cute, sexy and petite (Ok I also like other kinds of figure) this figure is very well made on top of that. The sculpting of her and the pumpkin skirt looks great and has a nice level of detail even the paintjob is very well done. What I like the most is her beautiful and expressive face, also the outfit with her shiny gloves and the black top really meets my taste. Personally I like the stronger shading effects, on figures nowadays such effects are done in a much more fainter way.  I don’t like the base and took no pictures of it.

I guess the age of this figure can be estimated when you look at the base, it looks cheap in comparison with the figure and the pumpkin. But overall this figure is just awesome even in comparison with new figures. I guess the damaged Ahoge was my fault, but I will fix that as soon as possible.

Hello, today I will review a cute little Dwarf, no grumpy bearded one, like in Lord of the Rings it is a cute, female one with a fancy looking dress. Dwarf was manufactured by Orchid Seed she got delayed in December and so her release date was pushed back to January 2011.

She is a Non scale figure, since she’s 210 mm in height, she looks like a 1/8 scaled figure, at the moment she stays next to Momohime and Maaryan and they look very good together.

The origin of Dwarf is the Lineage II MMOPRG, her name sounds not very lovely. I guess its just the name of her battle class. This time I can’t provide much background informations about her origin, I’ve never played this Game and never felt the urge to do so.

Any Lineage II players here?

In the Game you have a lot of freedom to design your character, so I don’t know why they made Dwarf look like this, the main characteristics of the Dwarf battle class are the twintail hairstyle, the cute face an the quite short legs in comparison to other battle classes. In the Game her sweet dress is called formal wear and you can get it after clearing a quest of the game.

Unfortunately that were all the infos I could gather about her in the Game, so from now on I will focus on giving you my impressions about her sculpting, the painting and on Dwarf’s outfit.

Hair & Face

As always I will start from the top to the bottom, so at first comes her hair, Dwarf has beautiful dark pink colored hair with a cute twintail hairstyle. There are two colored metallic cone like hair attires at them, another detail of her hairstyle are the two long strands at the sides of her bangs wich are framing her face. The flow her hair as well as the strands are very well detailed and cleanly sculpted, hidden behind her bangs you can see her thin dark pink eyebrows. the cat head item at her necklace isa very cute detail isn’t it? I never noticed it in the preview shots.

Now to the eyes, they are matte coloured but the paintjob lets them appear deep and shiny.

Her big round eyes are looking great and give Dwarf a very lively and lovely expression. She has a  cute snub nose and light blush marks at her cheeks. I actually don’t like figures with wide open mouths very much, even though Im owning quite a few, but the half open mouth of Dwarf is sculpted very nicely, I really like the depth and how you can see the tounge inside the mouth.

Overall her face looks very soft and extremely cute, in terms of happiness and cuteness her face beats the little Nanoha which I reviewed last time, Maryan and even Reinforce II.

Outfit & Body

The outfit of Dwarf appears like a mix of a wedding dress and a ballerina outfit it has frilly straps and oval bulky skirt part. The top which covers her delicate chest and her belly has a light pink colortone while the rest of her dress; with exception of her underskirt everything has a cream white color and a nacre shining effect to it which resembles silk cloth a bit, it has nice details, like seam lines indentations and so on. The underskirt is white but semi transparent and has some small heartshaped ornaments printed on it. To add more playfulness to her dress, a lot of pink ribbons have been used, my favorite ribbon is the big one at her neck.

Imagine you have to fight Dwarf in the game and then your badass character got humiliated by a player who uses such a cute looking Dwarf as character. The reaction would be priceless ;D.

The body of Dwarf looks attractive; well she doesn’t show much skin, but the places where she shows skin look really nice, at the front you have her pretty collarbones and at the back you can see her pretty shoulder blades. If you think that her light pink colored harem pants look a bit silly, Orchid Seed provided a cast-off option; under her harem pants you can see white, scanty cutted and frilly panties. When casted off you can also see her nice legs and her buttocks are a little bit exposed. As long as you don’t flip her over you can’t see her panties, but the exposed legs add a different look to Dwarf so I think this cast-off feature is useful.

When looking at the shoes of Dwarf it appears that she has quite small feet, they are cute and like all the ribbons at her dress the design of the socks also adds some playfulness to the figure.

Dwarf appears very girly and cute, but she’s not defenceless because Orchid Seed equipped her with a mighty looking bow, it is silver, silver-gold and gold colored the detailed sculpted slots are looking very good, the bow isn’t colored too shiny, otherwise it would mismatch with Dwarfs outfit. The bow can be divided in two parts, so you can put it in Dwarfs hand. In Dwarfs box you can also find a metal rod arrow with an heart shaped head. It is supposed to be put between Dwarfs index finger and the middle finger, you have to pay attention not to lose it.

Dwarfs base looks like the garnishment of a wedding cake, but you can’t eat it of course.

It is mainly made of transparent plastic, with heart shaped ornaments and some gem shaped transparent parts on it, as I had her on my desk it was fun to be able to rotate the figure with on finger. Dwarf is attached to the base with one leg; she is well balanced and has comparative short and sturdy legs so the possibility of her to lean in the future is pretty low.

Final Words

Dwarf is my first figure from Orchid Seed and I’m really satisfied with their final product.
I didn’t know they were this good. Im a fan of cute looking figures, so of course I love this figure, she is incredible cute. Her face is cute because of the well painted green eyes and the half open mouth. Her outfit looks really nice and gives Dwarf a fairy-like, enchanting vibrancy.

You may have noticed that most of the time I’m quite positive and maybe a bit too nice with the figures in my reviews, but it’s no exaggeration when I say that Dwarf is the best figure I’ve bought since ALTER’s Momohime in July 2010. The figure looks a bit girly and sweet but it’s not like you will get tooth decay from her sweetness, she fits very well into my collection.

If you are interested in her, don’t miss your chance, she’s a really cute and beautiful figure.

Emi Kizaki is an older figure of mine so I’ll only write a few lines, I mainly want to show some pictures of her. Emi Kizaki is a 1/8 scaled figurine made by Kotobukiya, her release date occured in march 2009.  She comes in a very small box with a tropical theme printed on it.

Emi Kizaki is from the Manga and Anime Kurogane no Linebarrels, a mecha show with lots of ecchi and comedy. She looks a bit younger than the character of her origin, but you can identify her clearly as Emi Kizaki. This figure has an oval sand colored base, which has a soft texture.
Emi Kizaki has a very nicely sculpted pose the way she holds her arm to cover her loose bikini top strap and with her face expression, she creates an athmosphere of shy cuteness.

Her hair shows some detailed streaks which matches her look from the anime. The body itself is very well sculpted with nice long legs. She has a pale and bright skintone. Emi’s upper body looks nice too, even though she is not as well  endowed as in the anime =D

The gray bikini has some nice details, like the hanging straps for example. She uses her left arm to support her pose and with the right arm she holds her loosen bikin top. In her cleavage sits a small stuffed rat, I don’t know why Kotobukiya included the rat since it wasn’t in the anime show, maybe it was in the manga I don’t really know.

On her right side the face appears a bit square cut when you look from some angles.Where she looks the best are from the front and the left.

The figure is a very nice item for photgraphy, she looks good in outdoor and indoor shootings.
She is pretty resistant against direct sunlight, in my room I put her in very well lit areas and so far I couldn’t find any place where her color changed or her arms and legs deformend because of the heat even though You shouldn’t display your figures in direct sunlight!

Emi Kizaki is a very nice bikini figure with a pretty and petite body, the grey bikini
looks nice and the rat between her boobs makes the overall look some kind of unique.
