Kantai Collection -Kan Colle- Takao Light Armament Ver.

I’m a big Takao fan, she is so alluring and has a friendly voice. Max Factory made a 1/8 scaled figure, she is wearing her beautiful uniform and her lovely curves were nicely adapted, too. I always wished for really bold figures of the Kancolle characters, you can partially blame all the Pixiv artists for all the great ecchi fanart, but the figures are mainly modest. I ordered the light version, since the ship part is not really as important for me, as the character herself.

Love Live! School Idol Festival – Umi Sonoda

At the risk of repeating myself, I don’t count Umi as my favorite among the Love Live! girls, but fortunately she is not Maki ahahaha. I adore most of ALTER’s “School Idol Festival” figures, they are all so precious and elaborately made. Especially this Umi is a wonderful example of the lineup, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw her for the first time, Umi is so cute in that outfit, also her sweet pose and expression make her extremely adorable for me.

Original Character – Succubus-san 

Like my previously reviewed Chitose, Succubus-san also combines a sweet and romantic style with ero figure qualities. The attractive figure has strong colors and a sexy body with a strong level of chubbyness. Her face is so cute and enchanting ♡. In stark contrast her outfit is a “dream” of latex and leather, the figure is completely castoffable.

Now we take a look at the figures that were recently listed in the shops. I’ve sorted them by release date, among the listed items are a few things I totally would like to have, it’s really unfortunate when more than one nice figure is scheduled to be released in the same month.
 

Shining Wind – Touka

I have the impression that Orchid Seed is slowly getting behind the times, while other manufacturers increase their quality steadily, Orchid Seed’s figures stay on the same level, of course that does not mean that they make bad figures. This Touka for example has a very interesting atmosphere with her thoughtful pose and the diorama like base she sits on.

Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena – Labrys Naked Ver.

This Labrys figure looks really pretty and cool, detailed mechanical parts and a huge weapon are part of her interesting design. Somehow the robot hips actually bother me a little. ques Q also announced another similar looking cyborg girl scheduled for January 2017.

Ribbon Doll Collection – Shin Ikkitousen: Unchou Kanu

Here is a surprisingly artistic and creative adaption of the Kanu character, the unique and detailed pose combined with the womanly body and her really beautiful face make her quite appealing. Unfortunately she apparently will also be released in January .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena – Unit 024

Unit 024 is a cuter version than Labrys, at least I prefer it ;D The sea green hair with ponytail and a more gentle facial expression give her completely different atmosphere. I also prefer the black top. Oh, a January release too, damn that’s quite annoying for me *meh*

Girls und Panzer the Movie – Alice Shimada

Despite her short her appearance in the Girls und Panzer movie, Alice gets a pretty figure, she looks nicely made, with a cute face and the sweet loli dress and she even has a teddy.

I don’t know her origin, but everything about her shouts adorable. Her mainly white uniform like outfit is very pretty and fancy and there is also this extremely cute face of Haruna.

Infinite Stratos – Laura & Charles Nekomimi Pajama

Yes, this is a great two figure combination, they do both looks enchanting in their cat pajamas. The flustered Laura and the sweet Charles together on a fluffy base. I prefer Charles, but it’s sold as set. The base is bent to have a better perspective when they are displayed.

At least we need one bikini figure in this post. Miho is a dynamic figure with a bubbly expression and bold pink hair. She is scaled 1/5.5 and rather huge figure.

This is a marvelously nice looking figure, I love her expressive face with the orange eyes, she has a slightly evil and mysterious aura, she is sitting on a nice base in a quite charming pose.
I find her extremely enchanting actually. Maybe I will be able to add her sometime.

Yuki Yuuna is a Hero – Mimori Togo

The announcement of this figure was really surprising, I mean I remembered that great anime, but never thought figure manufacturers still gave attention to it. So after Yuuna ALTER will also make a figure of the beautiful Togo. The black hair and her sweet face with the green eyes and also tightly hugging bodysuit with her toes exposed are making the figure gorgeous.

Shinwa Taisen Gilgamesh Knight – Deena Challenger

This cheerful, young, blonde girl is Deena Challenger, I’ve used a close up picture for startes on purpose, she is actually sitting on an elaborately designed bike, but her official pics were far away from good, HobbyJapan should really provide bigger product pictures for their expensive figures. Deena is dressed in a eccentric slutty outfit, but with such a cute face she comes away with it. The figure is sexy and her bike is stunning.

She is an exclusive figure and with 20.000 Yen she is the most expensive figure of this post.

Hyakka Ryouran – Yagyu Jubei – Final Bride Ver.

After seeing the 2 Hyakka Ryouran – Samurai After OVA, I was reminded that I will always think of Hyakka Ryouran affectionately, not that story was very compelling, but it was the chemistry between the funny and sympathic characters that made it special for me.
ALTER announced a figure of the cute Jubel in the Samurai Bride outfit, it’s a truly stunning design, I like it a lot, unfortunately it’s sold as exclusive figure. On the good side she will be released in a unbusy months considering figure orders. I could still strike.

Soukou Akki Muramasa – Ashikaga Chachamaru – Wedding ver.

Chachamaru has always been overshadowed, by the more popular Sansei Muramasa, but she is also a heroine in that ridiculously violent game. Here Chachamaru is adapted as quite pretty bride with nice blonde hair and wow who gave her that amazingly attractive butt?! (⁄ ⁄^⁄ᗨ⁄^⁄ ⁄).

Today we will take a look at the Gotou Matabei – Kenki version figure from ALTER, which was released in January 2016. She is scaled 1/8 and Takahashi Tsuyoshi was the sculptor in charge, he already made a figure of Gotou Matabei in 2011, which was a Hobby Japan exclusive.

Hyakka Ryouran was a rather hot and popular thing among figure interested people, even before the anime started to air it’s first episodes.  ALTER and the sculptors created some really spectacular figures, of visually attractive and fashionable dressed samurai girls.

On a sidenote, with Hattori Hanzo, my first Hyakka Ryouran figure I started to review figures.

The animes of Hyakka Ryouran were no masterpieces, but the interesting artstyle and the extremely likeable cast and their amusing interactions made it very entertaining for me.

In 2013 another lineup of figures from Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Bride appeared, although the latest figure adaptions recently subjectively got less attention, but that also might to do with the number of active figure reviewers these days, yes I’m looking at exactly you XD.

Gotou Matabei was a well thought out purchase, in fact it took so long, that I was lucky that the figure was still available after the release date, apparently she’s still in stock here.

Despite her size Gotou Matabei was a very silent character in the anime, but always loyal and supporting as guardian of Sanada Yukimura and member of the group.

Matabei has a pretty ponytail, the hairstyle is nicely done, it’s very detailed and shows a good sense of motion. Her anime hair color is silver blue, but someone decided to make it purple since her first figure adaption. Since I knew that in advance I won’t argue about it. In her ponytail ribbon a Tantō (short sword) is added, it’s a pretty decoration for her head.

The figure has nice facial features with a cute nose and expressive eyes, depending on the viewing angle, the figure conveys a feeling between embarrassment and poutful, the eye brows give her a cute touch. I didn’t really expect that she would be so much on the cute side.

What I really liked about this figure was the way Gotou Matabei posed, with the giant calligraphy brush , which is actually a weapon with a retractable spear head. I like the way she is holding her brush. Sticking out her beautiful plump  butt, gives her a slightly provocative and sexy touch. The ample curves around her hips are accentuated by strong shading.

My preferences of womans measurements is widely spread, nevertheless with my growing age I noticed that the interest in buxom women increased a little. Gotou Matabei is a big girl with a mature and  motherly appearance. I like that she has wide hips and bigger thighs.

In general the Hyakka Ryouran girls wear a combination of samurai era clothes and elements of modern japanese fashion, Matabei has a exceptional traditionally styled outfit.

The figure portrays Matabei in her transformed Kenki version outfit, she wears a traditional looking, short white jacket, held together by a black belt. Under her jacket she seems to wear a black bodysuit. She shows some cleavage with her nicely shaped and moderate big boobs.

The forearms are covered by black armguards. The lower parts of her mainly bare legs are covered by knee socks like shoes, I would prefer thigh high, though. Around her hips she is wearing a classic fundoshy not very elegant for a lady, but her marvelous round butt can be admired better this way.

Final Words

I really like the figure, she has a cute face, pretty hair and with her outfit, brush weapon and buxom body she is very pretty and interesting. I also like her articulation with a pose that is putting more focus on the figures backside, which is rarely seen. she is visually attractive and shows some sexy highlights. Also her size is nice for a 1/8 scaled figure with her sturdy physical appearance she is closer to 1/7 scale. Gotou Matabei Kenki version is a nice figure, like all Hyakka Ryouran figures, it’s nice that the quality is a reliable factor from ALTER, I don’t mind certain imperfections, but this figure looks marvelous from nearly every perspective.

This will be the first figure of 2014, that I will review today, Keiji is a real gem to start with.

Maeda Keiji or Maeda Toshimazu is a often used character in anime culture , as male in Sengeku Basara or Gifuu Doudou!! As a person of female gender, she made her appearance in Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride, where she was a supporting character who tought the group how to master their Ki and played with the girls, since she  happens to swing that way.

Maeda Keiji was an eccentric person, something like a dandy, the dandy in general is a libertine who likes and express himself with good looking, fancy clothes. His goal is to live according to his standards and ethics. The female Keiji is kind, but also a little mischievous prankster.

Maeda Keiji was released in the end of January 2014, she was sold as exclusive figure by Hobby Japan but manufactured by ALTER. The figure is based on the art of Nishii (Nitro+) and the figure was sculpted by the skilled Tanaka Sen’u. Keiji is one of the bigger 1/8 scale figure with umbrella  she measures arouaround 28 cm in height. The figure comes with a box, an elegant black base with golden decorations, a pretty large umbrella and a nicely detailed katana.

Hair & Face

The figure has light brown hair, the hair looks very detailed and shows strands, all around her head. The hair was put into a lovely ponytail hairstyle and has dynamic flow. A pipe ties her hair together, a smart way to hide her gadget. Keiji has a very pretty face and throws an adorable smile at the viewer, the open mouth is cute with the white little fang it has an michievous character.

Her purple eyes are gorgeous, they are surrounded by jagged eyelashes which are typical for characters created by Nishi, they are accentuating her face a lot. The figure has slightly rosy cheeks and a pointy chin.

Outfit & Body

Hyakka Ryouran is known for mixing traditional japanese outfits with anime fashion, but I don’t know what about Keiji is anime fashion, with her string bra and open hotpants that are more suited for a stripclub or other premises, I’m a bit lost. Well, but maybe she is a rock star. Rock stars can wear such eccentric sexy outfits without being labeled as ho.

I like her outfit a lot nevertheless, it is just awesome and I love how elegance and boldness mix.

You have the elegance of an traditional japanese dress in shape  of an richly decorated kimono. The sleeves are simply beautiful with the nice vivid colors and the white inlay, but I wonder how they printed that clear pattern on her kimono with all the folds and curves.

The string like underwear is hot and accentuates the attractive points of the lovely Keiji even more. The stocking like boots have a cool texture with some good looking wrinkles and the red soles are a real eyecatcher, the hotpants are a red black combination and resemble shiny leather, the front has a deep opening, also at the butt her hotpants also have a cutout window.

For a figure made by ALTER, which was long known for being rather conservative, Maeda Keiji is incredibly skin revealing and it looks so nice. The whole belly can be seen in all it’s sculpted glory.

Keiji has the body and curves of a grown up woman with great hips and strong thighs on the long legs, her fairly sized boobs come in a tear drop shape, not much is left to the imagination.

Final Words

ALTER didn’t disappoint with any of their Hyakka Ryouran figures, they are all great figures, but in my humble opinion Maeda Keiji is the best, she’s cute, she’s hot and she is simply beautiful.

I really like that she has this certain, strong Nitro+ look, especially her eyes, I love her cheerful  and friendly smile with the lively “I’m taking a little afternoon walk” pose. The flamboyant outfit is gorgeous and a good example for an eccentric style, the kimono part is nicely sculpted  and has great colors, together with the bold hotpants, string bra and stockings a charming contrast is created. The umbrella adds a lot of elegance to this beautiful otherwise barely dressed girl.

Well, this very lack of clothing is another one of Keiji’s charm points, she has a really great body. The design is great and ALTER did an remarkable job transfering it into a wonderful bishoujo figure. I’m very happy about this purchase, Maeda Keiji is the kind of figure I really like.

The whole  figure is a very good example of ALTER’s craftsmanship also with the heavy umbrella attached Maeda Keiji still stands firmly on her base and no support rod needs to be placed.

Time for a new review and today we take a look at the Yagyu Jubei – swimsuit version figure.

The figure was recently released by AmiAmi zero, a company known for pretty and sexy figures like Menace from Queens Blade or Hinako from the silly but cute Issho ni Training Ofuro OVA.

Jubei the sexy godess of the beach which I review here is scaled 1/8 and has a height of 15 cm. The release occured in early October this year. Yagyu Jubei arrived after 3 1/2 weeks with SAL shipment, if I had known about the many delays of my other figure orders I had chosen a faster shipping method. Anyway I’m very happy to be able to write a new figure review again.

There have been a number of Yagyu Jubei figures, but I fell in love with this one after I’ve seen some unofficial pictures from a certain fair. She is part of AmiAmi zero’s Hyakka Ryouran swimsuit line Hattori Hanzo was the first one Jubei the second one and Tokugawa Sen will be the next.

This Yagyu Jubei wore this outfit in the beach episode of the Hyakka Ryouran anime where she was wearing this exotic bikini. The outer appearance of Jubei is that of a fine women, but she’s rather an airhead and has the mind of a child in the story, I can’t say that she’s one of my favorite characters, but I like happy girls, be they silly or airheaded, it doesn’t really matter to me.

Hair & Face

Yagyu Jubei has a wild and rather complex hairstyle with dynamic strands, a twin ponytail with a knot in between and antenna strands at the front. The hair is painted in a straight red, I think the colortone is very well chosen, it’s not too gaudy and not to dark either. There is no color shading, but since the detailed sculpting already creates nice shadows it’s fair enough. The sculpting of the hair is detailed and clean overall. As optional item Ami Ami zero included the black samurai themed hairclip Jubei is wearing all the time, you have to put in place by yourself, it’s equipped with thin doublefaced adhesive tape since it’s very sticky there is no real danger of loosing it.

A alluring face expression with slanted eyes and a lustful mouth, would also have been a fitting choice considering the overall apppearance of this Jubei figure, but with the recreated expression of childish, cheerful innocence this figure is true to her origin in the light novel and anime show.

The round face is showing dark eyebrows and striking blue eyes with subtle blushmarks below.
Jubei has a tiny nose and is presented with a deeply engraved open mouth the lower lip is slightly sculpted and is painted with a nice faint glossy finish, she’s actually very cute like that.

Body & Outfit

The figure is without a doubt very sexy and has a very well defined body with broad hips and a sexy waistline and other nice curves, the details on her belly look really appealing, one would like to poke an tickle her :D. The very good sculpting can also be found at the back, the round butt looks especially great, further above she also has  nicely defined scapulas. The accurately applied shading effects on her body accentuate her sensual features even more. The figure has a kneeling pose with a attractive arched back, with one hand she is playfully stretching her bikini slip (๑¯ω¯๑)

What I always like about figures are single sculpted fingers and the sculptor Ozawa Shingo put a lot of attention to these little fingers they look quite lifelike. The toes also appear very detailed and like the nails on the fingers they are painted. The posing of her left hand is no homage to the German Metal festival “Wacken“. In Japan this sign means something like “I love you”.

Yagyu Jubei has quite the revealing bikini which is nice, the level of detail is really good, I really like the seamlines and wrinkles. The thin bikini material is very well recreated overall. The slip has a tight fit and so not much is left for imagination at her private parts. A castoff feature is also integrated in this figure, the bikini top comes off easily, but you have take off the head and arms before. The white rope bracelets do a good job with hiding the area where the arms seperate.

Her breast actually aren’t as big as expected, sure the arched back lifts them up quite a bit, but underneath the bikini top they appear “normal” sized compared to some legendary cleavage figures in my collection. I really like the shape of Jubei’s breasts, her nipples are in a neutral state and are painted in a pastel pink color. With such a bright red bikini you would think about some nasty paint transfer all over her body, but fortunately that’s not the case with this figure.

To dress this redheaded darling up again there are little spikes made of wire at the ends of the straps of her bikini who slide in into the holes of her bikini pants, in most pictures I was too lazy to put them back into the holes, but it’s possible to display her in more proper way like I did here.

Final Words

I’ve ordered this figure mainly out of curiosity and actually had subdued expectations, so now I can say that she turned out a lot better than expected. Jubei has a cute face and her well defined body is just hot and sexy. This figure really has a superior body sculpting and the overall quality of her is also very good. This was my second figure of Ami Ami zero and Im quite satisfied again.

Since this figure is so detailed Ami Ami zero could have easily sculpted her at a bigger scale, like the with first Hyakka Ryouran figures they’ve made, but since the actual lineup is done at 1/8 it can’t be helped. Despite all the praise for this Jubei there are a few not so good points; the base for example is very, very simple. I expected a bit more than clear blue disk with no engraved text.

Another not so nice part is the stability of her pose a little more rough vibrations when she’s placed on a desk or an while taking pictures on uneven floor makes her flip over easily.  Well, she’s not completely instable, when left alone on a shelf, the figure won’t cause such problems.

It’s Hammer time! The warrior of love, Naoe Kanetsugu makes her appearance.

Today I can present you my review of ALTER‘s latest figure from the Hyakka Ryouran lineup. There already have been a few reviews of her, but it would be nice if you would also read mine.

Naoe Kanetsugu is scaled 1/8 and has a height of 225 mm including the height of her hammer. She was sculpted by Makio Munetoshi who mainly works for ALTER and Kotobukiya as well.

Naoe’s release date was on the 24th February, I’ve ordered her at a german store and therefore I had to wait a little longer. I wasn’t that convinced to order her at first, after a lot of debating for and against her purchase, I decided to get her, but at that time she was already sold out in the big and also small japanese shops. Luckily the german shop still had a few copy’s in stock.

Intro

Overall the Hyakka Ryouran figure Line up was and still is a big hit for ALTER. The popularity of the figures apparently isn’t based on the anime itself. It received rather mixed opinions from the audience and I think only a few people really liked it, like me who already watched it several times. Aside from the flaws in the storytelling the comedy was always overly entertaining for me.

In the story Naoe Kanetsugu is a side character who joins the party halfway in the story. She has a goofy personality and often pretends to be good at certain things, but the outcome always showed us something different. On the other hand she’s a funny girl and caused some hilarious moments. Aside from being a cute weirdo in terms of fighting she’s not completely useless.

One appeal point of this figure Line up are the outfits, which are a mix of school uniform and traditional japanese clothes. In comparison with the other Samurai girls, Naoe’s outfit appears more like the uniform of a private school, aside from her weapon the knots and the sake bottle there aren’t that many traditional japanese traits. Anyway her outfit looks nice and stylish.

Review part

The black and white colored jacket is a nice piece of her outfit and together with the red tie a very modern look is created, her skirt is a simple grey and short one. What also draws attention are the stockings with the cherry blossom petals pattern and the white lines. The shading gives them a slightly transparent look and the dark color accentuates her bare thighs area very well. Smaller but not less eyecatching parts are the fighter like red gloves and the fancy design of her shoes.

I don’t know if Naoe is a hard drinker, but this sake bottle is a interesting detail and I really like the level of detail they added to the cork, it looks almost real.

From my impression ALTER’s figures became cuter than in the years before, be it Kaminagi Ryoko, Charlotte Dunois or the child version of Takamachi Vivio, all of them have a cute and adorable flair. Also Naoe received this cuter finishing with her big eyes which are pointed to the left, the joyful open mouth and the rosy cheeks, she’s just an enchanting pretty young girl.

A lot of effort has been put into Naoe’s hairstyle as well, the hair has a very nice look and feel to it, all the sculpted strands are giving her hair a very three dimensional and detailed appearance.
At the end of each of the twintails are some big metallic colored bells connected via a white rope.

The bendover pose appears quite cheerful like she wants to play her next prank on someone, despite her modest appearance from the front, her rear is quite exposed and with her tight fit white panties there is not much space for imagination left. The figure is showing her nice buttocks, her thighs and overall very pretty legs garnished by some pretty black stockings.

There are also come some optional parts with the figure, there are two different arts for the end of the staff. One is a simple end part while the other one has a fixed chain made of flexible PVC attached to it. To attach the hammer you have to take off the end part and push it in her hand, to make the assembly a bit easier one of the twintails can be taken off.

Me and the Hammer…

My impression of the Hammer is not entirely positive, overall it has a fancy design, the hilt is very well crafted and has a nice texture, also the golden parts of it with the flower ornaments look pretty. Unfortunately the things in between, which resemble a temple look a bit cheap with the glossy plastic texture and show only very little shading. I somehow felt reminded of Playmobil.

A bigger point for criticism is the balance of the weapon, it is a bit annoying to put it in place, cause it won’t stay in place even with the clear stand ALTER included. It is such a hassle to use it. I can’t shake off the impression that it was done in a somewhat half assed way. On their blog ALTER provided a detailed explanation how to use it, but in my case it only worked for an hour.

A hole for the shaft in the base would have probably solved the balancing problem. I came up with my own solution, you have to turn the shaft of the hammer so that the purple ribbon of it sits on Naoe’s back, so far it’s still in place and puts less stress on Naoe’s arm.

Final Words

Naoe Kanetsugu is my second figure of ALTER’s Hyakka Ryoran Line up. In 2010 I got this Hattori Hanzo. Naoe is another very nice figure from that Line up from all the girls she has the most modern looking outfit with just a few traits of samurai and traditional japanese fashion elements. The school uniform in combination with the lovely stockings is very well done.

ALTER created a pretty Naoe figure with a very cute facial expression. They delivered another figure with next to zero flaws in terms of sculpting and painting. One letdown I can’t sugarcoat was the bad balancing of the hammer weapon but with my method it stays in place at least.

Hi here is a new figure related post, but instead of a new figure review it’s about my latest figure preorders. 5 more figures made it to my list. This years list keeps growing faster than I would actually wish, lets see if I can keep it under 24 figures at the end of this year unlike in 2011.

Naoe Kanetsugu -Hyakka Ryouran – ALTER

Naoe Kanetsugu from the Hyakka Ryouran anime is a 1/8 scaled figure which was released on 2012/02/24. With a big fat smile and a big fat hammer she has a very appealing design.

I nearly passed on Naoe since I wasn’t sure about purchasing her and as I considered it, she was already sold out on the japanese market. Luckily the german shop Figuya still had a few copies of her. I don’t have to say much more about her just check out Tier’s review, she’s awesome.

Astraea – Sora no Otoshimono – PLUM

Another figure that triggered my interest since announcement was this Astraea, she is scaled 1/6 and was released on 2011/12/27. Astraea is the 2nd Sora no Otoshimono figure by Plum.

The face of the first one, looked a bit off, luckily Astraea resembled her origin close enough.
Sora no Otoshimono is a nice anime with likeable characters, the girls are especially likeable, unfortunately so far there is not much to find from them in the figure market. I like Astraea, the strong and gluttonous Angeloid with the low processing capabilities. The figure is based on an official illustration. Because of her face the whole figure appears a bit *kyahhh!* ecchi.

I would have prefered this figure with a happy face, but Im quite satisfied with the look of her body and outfit. I assumed that she would end in the bargain bin, but nonsense this figure was sold out faster than expected. A few days ago I was able to find her for a reasonable price at Playmoya. But with the figure in the shipping now I slightly start to regret this purchase, but lets see how this one will turn out in the end. My upcoming review of her might be interesting :p

Sayaka Miki – Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica – GSC

Sayaka is from the popular Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica anime, she is scaled 1/8 and will be released in June 2012. From the bigger figure manufacturers GSC seems to have leased the Madoka license and at first I was a bit dissapointed as I saw their prototypes, because I expected something more dynamic. Madoka is very cute, but from the 1st run Madoka★Magica figures, Sayaka was the more appealing one to me. She is by far not my favorite girl from the anime. [spoiler name=”spoiler”]I still don’t understand why she chose to die in such a pityful way[/spoiler] but in terms of overall appearance she looks so nice. I really like her blue and white colored knight like outfit with the skirt and the cape. Some parts of her outfit give her a slightly tomboyish still ladylike appearance. The cute face expression is also quite appealing to me, as well as her pose. The hands are exchangeable and she is able to hold two cool looking cutlass sabers.

Hatsune Miku – Cheerful Japan! – Support version – GSC

This figure was just recently announced on winter Wonfes 2012 and is now available exclusively at GSC’s online shop with shipping included I had to pay 12000 Yen upfront. This Hatsune Miku figure adaption is based on a submission by bun150 the winner of the Cheerful JAPAN! Cheerful Illustration Contest. The figure is scaled 1/8 and will be shipped in August this year. I fell for this figure as I saw pictures of her on Wonfes. She has such an adorable design, she is wearing a cute cheerleader dress and is equipped with an adorable face and super nice twintails. I also fell in love with the dynamic pose and the speaker box base, orange is my favorite color by the way.

Yagyu Jubei – Hyakka Ryouran – AmiAmi zero

A new swimsuit figure from AmiAmi zero’s Hyakka Ryouran swimsuit figure line up, next to Hattori and an announced Senhime figure, Jubei was chosen as a new figure. She is scaled 1/8 and will be released in September 2012. I actually like her design more than her character, but that shouldn’t be a problem, she has a very cute face and looks good from tip to toe. The blue eyes add a lovely contrast to the red hair and the skimpy red swimsuit. She has a very sexy body, with an well defined belly and a damn hot backside, this Jubei is also partly castoffable.

There were some more nice figures announced recently, that I would like to get, but since budget and space are limited, I have to give it some more thought to decide about ordering them or not.

Rororina Fryxell by Megahouse

Thats a lovely recreation of leather clothes we see on her outfit. The figure has a very nice design overall, if the cape will turn out as castoffable I might pick her up.

Naoe Kanetsugu Swimsuit version by Hobby Link/ALTER

If this Naoe was a normal run figure I would have already ordered her, but I already have three exclusive figures on order, so in terms of money I should pass, but when just looking at her bishoujo face and hair, I would really like to have her in my collection.

Soniko Nurse Version by Orchid Seed

A more cartoon like figure adaption from Soniko, here she is a friendly nurse with her curves pressed into an old geezers daydream nurse uniform, oh these stockings. Of course she is castoffable, but you even have a second dress option in form of a light top. As Soniko fan this should be a no brainer, but I should have a better resistance.

Megurine Luka by Max Factory

What draw me to this figures at first was the unique brown color of her outfit with the golden accents, and the more sexy adaption of a vocaloid. Now Im not so sure about her face anymore, its not ugly at all, but something seems to be missing for me.

Sandaime Muramasa by Max Factory

I might regret it later, but I can’t bring myself to order her until I see pictures of the final product. A brown skintone is something you could mess up with ease in my opinion. Well, I guess Max Factory can do a good job and I might order her after release if possible.

Laura Bodewig  swimsuit version by WAVE

A cute twintail girl with an eyepatch and an overall priceless face expression. Why am I hesitating? The only little underwhelming thing is that she’s just 1/10 , which is a bit small to be honest.

Inia Sestina and Cryska Barchenowa by Kotobukiya

This adorable Inia is wearing a nice and tight Mizugi + stocking outfit and has a  very cute appearance overall. Both figures would look very good together, I guess

Inia’s friend Cryska appears in a more aggressive fashion and shows a cleavage to die for XD She also has a great backside and comes with a Santa Clause hat. I didn’t remember that Kotobukiya had such sexy figures.

Figure preorder rodamap 02 of 2012

Aside from the 5 new additions most orders stayed like on the last preorder roadmap, only the bathing Hinako was delayed again to April TT , but Nagisa is finally set to be released in August.
