Today I will show you another figure of The 7 Deadly Sins (七つの大罪). It’s Asmodeus, the personification of the Demon King of Lust. In this figure adaption her full name is Asmodeus – Maou Mokushiroku – Koori Shiri Ice Cream no Bushi. The figure was released in march 2016.

The tasty figure in the tasty sundae is Asmodeus, official she is listed as 1/7 scale with a height of 19 cm, but she appears bigger, like 1/6. She was sold as limited + exclusive for 12000 ¥. A edition with handkerchief was also available, but more expensive and quite lewd.

This figure is a collaboration of the the manufacturer Amakuni and distributor Hobby Japan, who is not interested in the foreign market. Fortunately reliable proxy buying platforms allow us to get such figures, even though through a middlesman it’s always a little more pricey.

The 7 Deadly Sins caught my attention from the start, I simply love demon girls with their dramatic make up, pointy ears and cute horns. While the first lineup was scaled in 1/8, the Maou Mokushiroku lineup grow to 1/7. I like the bigger scale and the more creative design.

In terms of appearance my favorite sinful characters are Leviathan and Mammon, as the lineup started I ordered their two figures, same happened with the Maou Mokushiroku lineup. I already received Leviathan, the 2nd Mammon should be out in June. I was no fan of Asmodeus concept from Orchid Seed at first, the proportions were just too much for me.

Later Amakuni announced a different Asmodeus, in a bunny costume with a better concept of a buxom woman. Afterwards the Asmodeus – Maou Mokushiroku ~ Koori Shiri Ice Cream no Bushi was shown, surprisingly it was designed by the same sculptor Katagiri Katsuhiro.

The characters mainly exist through their website, with sexy illustrations and small stories about their every day life, it are sweet short stories about the characters in the demon realm, but unfortunately completely in japanese, though an OVA is planned to be aired someday.

The attractive face has been greatly influenced by the style of illustrator Nishii with his distinctive and expressive portrays of girls and women. Asmodeus has gorgeous facial makeup with prominent eyelashes and beautiful green eyes, also the soft blush increases her alluring charm. The figures has wonderful made hair, very detailed and with a nice style.

Asmodeus is a pretty and somehow buxom character, her wide hips, the plump butt and meaty thighs underline the appeal of her voluptuous body. She really is a attractive grown up lady. The sculpting of her body is wonderful, very appealing shapes and a nicely, smooth look.

I totally liked the concept of this figure, the curvy Asmodeus lying in a huge, nicely decorated sundae, dressed with only a thong, gloves and boots. Actually the figure is based on a certain short story, where Asmodeus was shrinked by Mammon, to be able to jump in the ice cream.

The girls from the 7 Sins are well known for their provocative, demon realm styled, yet quite creative outfits. Well, Asmodeus apparently isn’t wearing much in this adaption, the things she inherited from her first figure adaption are the boots, the heart shaped choker and the gloves. The black thong accentuates her pretty buttocks. The boots look extremely detailed and nicely made. On her arms and thighs she has these black rings for whatever reasons.

Asmodeus is known to enjoy teasing her “victims” a lot. This figure somehow follows this direction. You can see that Asmodeus is a well endowed lady, but her nipples and most of her big boobs are nifty hidden by strands of her hair. Pushing them away is possible for naughty boys and girls, but the teasing is an intentional feature here ^^.

The base is this blue sundae cup, it looks normal, like something you could order in the cafe next door. Three elaborate looking scoops of ice, chocolate, strawberry and some apparently artificial blue flavor. It’s further decorated with cherries, strawberries and cream, additional there is a variation of Pocky and rectangular waffles. It’s a great idea and it nearly looks like a real, tasty sundae, my only nitpicking is that the chocolate scoop floats a bit in mid-air.

In the first figure lineup of The 7 Deadly Sins figures, there were always some ecchi bits and optional castoff. With the figures labeled Maou Mokushiroku a touch of lewdness was added.

Leviathan had a funny but lewd pose, Beelzebub eats some grotesque looking things, Asmodeus apparently eats some strangely shaped popsicle, too. It is only optional to display it like that, but the figure looks more complete, without it the figure shows a nicely sculpted lustful open mouth. A normal looking popsicle as additional part would have been nice.

Final Words

Asmodeus – Koori Shiri Ice Cream no Bushi of the The 7 Deadly Sins is a especially good figure of the franchise. She combines strong sex appeal with an amount of burlesque attitude.

Obviously this figure of Asmodeus creates an erotic atmosphere, but there is also something cute about her like we can expect it from anything anime related. The nicely detailed sundae base gives everything a very creative effect. Everything has the great quality we can expect from top tier figures these days, it’s a fantastic work from Amakuni and Katagiri Katsuhiro.

The 7 Deadly Sins have been a successful campaign for Hobby Japan, Orchid Seed and Amakuni. Now all figures of the first 1/8 scaled line up except Satan have been released, yet Orchid Seed and Amakuni are also working on more figures the majority in 1/7 scale.

I like this franchise, cute demon girls always have a place in my heart. Still I managed to only buy 2 figures from the 7 Sins first lineup. Leviathan which we reviewed in 2013 and Mammon.

Mammon is probably my most mature figure,  not in years but in appearance. Her figure was released in the end of December 2014, I had to pick her up between the holidays. Mammon was sculpted by Ishiyama Satoshi, the best person when it comes to such kinds of characters.

The figure of Mammon is scaled 1/8 and with around 24 cm rather big, she comes with a lot of stuff, like several decorations for her butt, cursed vegetables, a basket, english instructions and the typical for the 7 Deadly Sins line up two pieced podest base, measuring 8,5 cm.

Her backstory is a little amusing “Mammon is a single mum who was left by her husband and is now shouldering the huge debt he left behind, she mixes dangerous medicines and sells them off at a high price to feed her children.” She actually acts very friendly and ladylike.

The 7 Deadly Sins girls are supposed to be related to the 7 sins in mythology, the planned ova still wasn’t released so it’s somehow difficult to only show an image of a sin through looks. Mammon is supposed to be the image of greed, literally mammon means real estate.

Mammon is an adult demon lady in most shounen anime all grown up ladies have an impressive busom and other endowed things, Mammon’s appearance fits into this archetype. For myself I can say that I like certain busty anime characters, that doesn’t mean I don’t like others, there are things more important than that, like hips & thighs *lol*

Nevertheless, as I preordered Mammon I was a little wary about her large chest. During the time it took for the figure to be finalized I got more acceptable towards larger boobs in the anime related media. Be it illustrations or random anime where really busty heroines became accepted in the mainstream anime in recent times, like Medaka Kurokami or Isuzu Sento.
A few years ago you would only see such sizes in the naughtier subcategory of anime.

After taken pictures with her, I like Mammon more than I would have imagined.

Mammon has long blonde hair, the color is a natural tone, which looks very nice on her.
At each side she has pretty corksrew strands. As demon lady she has beast horns painted in very light purple, between her horns she also has a cute hairband that increases her feminine charm. Mammon is a truly beautiful lady, the dramatic make up with lipstick gives a lot of detail to her face, the added kindness of her expression is quite enchanting.
Would you actually believe me, that I mainly ordered her because of the pretty face? But it’s true.

The figure has an interesting, quite ornate dress. It’s painted in black with many fine golden details, she has fantastic thigh high stocking, the curved cutout accentuates the bare area of her thighs, the gradient effect and flower ornament pattern it creates an terrific look.

She must be very self conscious to walk around in fetish gear that reveals her whole butt.
The small heart shaped cutout at the front of her string panties is sweet and sexy as well.

Mammon features one of Orchid Seed’s good old strong points, different castoff stages.

As example, you have three pieces that change Mammon’s butt decoration, one piece is supposed to be a skirt. One piece you use when her corsage is still attached and another part when Mammon is “naked”. Part of the full outfit is a collar, scarf like thing, that covers her shoulders in a fancy way. although I rather like her appearance with bare shoulders.
The choker around her neck keeps the boob baskets in place, but could also be used solitary.

One thing I find remarkable is the pose or better said situation they adapted Mammon, carrying a basket around is a rather adorable way to present a figure. The basket is empty and can be loaded with cursed vegetables, they look very detailed and incredibly spooky.

I find Mammon damn attractive as a whole figure, she’s really nicely made for a 1/8 scaled figure, there are many nice parts to look at, dressed and undressed. A polarizing aspect are probably her massive boobs, obviously they are bigger than her head, but I really like their shape with the puffy nipples, the sculptor really knows how to make attractive boobs.

Well, Mammon has a phat ass, I can’t lie about that ;D she has a precious bubble butt with bawdy dimensions. The figure has a more sturdy body and because of that her greedy sized assets don’t look too silly. I love her wide hips and also to detailed back, the relatively narrow waist gives her an attractive appearance, she’s hot and very buxom but not fat.

Well, there is also the good old color stain issue, from the soft black parts, it’s not as bad as it sounds and these spots can be cleaned easily, but it’s annoying when it happens.

It also was difficult to get Mammon on the base, two metal pegs slide into her feet, but the last 5mm were nerve wrecking. As little advice separate the upper disk from the podest, then try to put the figures feet on the pegs, then press on her shoe tips and apply some pressure from below the base at the same time. attention is needed when putting her on base.

Final Words

Mammon convinces with her beautiful face and overall presentation of an attractive demon lady, the different display options are really pleasant. Qualitywise, Orchid Seed delivers a slightly better product than Amakuni did with Leviathan. The sculpting of Mammon’s clothes and body turned really nice and clean, showing an remarkable amount of details on a 1/8 scaled figure. If you aren’t afraid of her bigger body volume this can be a wonderful figure.

Cerberus – Rage of Bahamut

Yes, I like demon girls a lot and for some reason this list is full of them

When thinking about figures from Rage of Bahamut Olivia from Kotobukiya comes to mind, since I don’t like her design that much and also decided that I won’t buy a Kotobukiya figure again for once (Im not really serious here as you will see later) I’m happy that Max Factory brought their painted prototype and preorders for Cerberus were opened recently.

I also played the smartphone card game “Rage of Bahamut” this girl is based on, it features a number of other pretty demon girls, but the performance is kind of bad on my device.

Cerberus is a pretty girl with a hell of a cute face, twintails and beast ears, she’s rather petite, not too tall with meaty thighs and a fancy, skin revealing outfit. The gold and gloss look spectacular on her soft skin. The doggy gloves/hands are kinda funny, but give her something cheerful, without basis I think she will be delivered with optional hands to satisfy more customers.

Sorceress – Dragon Nest

Finally GSC changed this from a China only figure to something every collector could get their hands on. I was more than happy to be able to place my reservation for this cool looking figure.

Mammon – The Seven Deadly Sins

This is going to be my first Sins figure from Orchid Seed, it should be better qualitywise, than Amakuni. Leviathan is a lovely figure, but the bad cast off still leaves a little bad aftertaste.

Im not planning to buy the complete set of the 7 deadly sins, but the figures I like the most are of interest to me I might get Belphegor and Beelzebub next.  Mammon is an adult woman and actually a mother. She is without a doubt a very curvy girl with big boobs and a butt of similar size. I like her overall design, the voluptuous body, the outfit with all it’s details and the pose where she carries a basket full of demon food. Her face is beautiful and the drill hair as well.

Sonico – Super Sonico The Animation – Figma – Swimsuit version

Do you follow the Sonico anime? I watch it and I like the slow paced slice of life concept, it is close to the setting of Sonicomi, but without cameraman san. I better stay away from any MAL discussion, since it would only annoy me, some complained that there was too much fanservice and some that there is not enough of it. The show is very cute and has a kind setting, I’m glad that they made no idiot out of Sonico, she is in college and actually a dilligent student.

The figma comes with the first volume of the Soniani Blu Ray, it was sold out within minutes, lucky me didn’t wait too long. She looks adorable and I imagine it to be a fun figma to take along in my summer vacation. I love how  curvy she is and how she is holding a swim ring. It appears to be one of the newer figma frames, her hip joints are nicely covered.

Sonico – Nitro Super Sonic – Santa, Swimsuit version

Why have I ordered this again? It’s a Sonico bikini figure with christmas decorations from ALTER.
The figure wears a friendly smile on her face and is sculpted in a sweet gravure idol pose and shows a really pretty cleavage. Don’t expect her to be castoffable, it’s already uncommon to see such a hottie made by ALTER

Mushanokouji Iwai – Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge – BEACH QUEEN

It’s a tiny little doll with cheerful eyes, I’m kind of glad that she was restocked, the first batch was sold out immediately. She has two maid workmates and I’m partially interested to add this one with the white hair and black uniform.

Amazon – Excellent Model – Dragon’s Crown

Amazon is a strong girl with a set of muscles, still she looks still very feminine in my eyes.
What I like the most is her nice hair and the beautiful face, these blue eyes are so expressive.
An 1/7 scale is rather unusual for this manufacturer, but it is a nice change, to make something bigger. I find it great how Megahouse applied the shading on the very detailed sculpted body.

Two things that bother me, is that her top is too low, where are her nipples supposed to be? and her thighs still look a bit extreme.

Super Sonico – Mouse version

Haha I hope Sonico doesn’t like cheese, that for sure took long until preorders finally opened.
With her tongue out Sonico has a light naughty expression, a little more assertiveness suits her.
The mouse eared figure comes with a huge cheese themed base, The girl looks charming and the focus on her butt is quite nice. I think I like this figure enough to justify a purchase

Mei Sagara – Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!

This girl has a lot of cute megane (glasses) appeal, but somehow she forgot most of her clothes.

Leafa  – Fairy Dance – Sword Art Online

That looks like a great Leafa figure, deep green friendly eyes, pointy ears and a really nice rack.
She’s really pretty and the base fits very well to her, like a small diorama.

I always preferred the other girls in Sword Art Online instead of Asuna, in particular Leafa / Suguha but I found it silly that people started to dislike Asuna as she was trapped in a golden cage. The figure looks lovely in the promo shots, unfortunately this figure was made by the same sculptor as Kobato, like you all know, I didn’t really enjoy, after all. I better play safe this time and try to get her after release in case I like the final product.

Makoto Harada – Yamato Girls Collection – Yamato 2199

Have you ever watched the old Uchuu Senkan Yamato? It’s a combination of the old Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. I did and it was awesome, it sucked that I had to watch the last episode in english, to be fair, the japanese dub also was far from good at first, bu that improved quickly. Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 is a more modern version with fantastic animations. Makoto Harada is the top nurse on the ship and assists the doctor with sake.

As big fan of the show I would like to have her. I love the cute design of her, the sweet face, the fashionable pink suit and the dynamic pose, she has exchangle faces and arms.

The Muse of Range Murata – JC.COM

I’d never believe this lovely GK figure would be adapted as PVC figure, but no it even is from ALTER and of a large scale. The girl is based on the art of Range Murata, it’s a cute and attractive design with a scarf, boots and gloves and cute underwear. A chair is also part of this great figure.

Billy the Kid – Eiyuu*Senki GOLD

A wild, slender girl with a cowboy – bikini dress and a watergun, I find her design totally appealing, she’s proud and has a dominant appearance despite from being half naked.

Anything here caught your attention?

I’m a bit lost here, march, april and may will be full of cool figures, any suggestions what I should get? If I didn’t have brought so many figure preorders from 2013 in the new year, I could order more freely without stressing myself.

Time for new preorders, this time I just ordered 2 new figures, but a few bigger changes occured with the already placed preorders and I will also talk about the problems of a figure collector.

I looked over my latest list of preorders for this year and I felt that something wasn’t right. It was just too much, it actually were around four figures each month. It would be quite expensive and I can’t write my reviews that fast. So after the Wonfes in July, I decided to get rid of my bad feeling and canceled three figures for the sake of precious shelf space, money and freetime. Sometimes canceling is also part of the figure collecting hobby. We order our figures many months in advance and while waiting for their release other pretty and interesting figures appear.

Of course you should know which figures you want to have, but the no cancellation policy many Japanese figure shops have is very inconvenient (even though when they make exceptions). One more cancellation this year and AmiAmi might ban me. Well, I actually just canceled 6 orders there in the last two years, but I understand that is annoying for them to have indecisive and erratic customers . Have you ever canceled a few more figure orders?

I canceled the following figures

Blanc Neige from Orchid Seed; I don’t know if I should have done this since outfit pose and base looked very pretty, but I guess I wouldn’t liked the figure without rosy cheeks on her face.

Takamachi Nonoha from Ques q; I still think that this Nanoha is very cute, but after I’ve heard not many good things of the figure which have been released recently by Ques q I better pass.

Hinako from AmiAmi zero; I was seriously sick of all these delays that occured with this figure and the pictures I’ve seen of her lately weren’t convincing to me anymore either. I might regret this decision, but for the time being I feel very relieved.

In case I’ll really regret some of my decisions there is always the aftermarket and AmiAmi’s new pre-owned items section.

This month I was hit by two unexpected delays, first the 1/6 scaled Kan’u Unchou and then the Hatsune Miku Cheerful Japan! Support version was also delayed. I already expected Anarchy Stocking and Yagju Jubei, but now I can expect to receive 4 figures in September, how funny

*haha* There was stil no info about Nagisa’s release date

In November and December I still have no preorders out of two reasons, first so far there will be nothing I would really like to have in these months. Second Im more interested in the figures from the Summer Wonfes which will come out in 2013.  Now to the few preorders I’ve placed.

Louise … de la Vallière – Uniform version -1/8 – Alter

I already complaint a few times about the lack of Louise figures that match my image of the cute tsundere magician. She’s one of my 2D girl favorites, but I never got any figures of her However this one from ALTER must have slipped under my radar, maybe because she is already from 2009. Anyway thx to the very nice pictures of Rubee I noticed the figure which comes quite close to my image of Louise. I was able to get her for a fair price. The seller promised to mark her package as gift, but the customs snatched the package nevertheless. Time to pick her up ^^.

Takamachi Nanoha – Swimsuit version – 1/6 – Alpha Max

Haha I canceled loli swimsuit Nanoha to get the adult swimsuit Nanoha what is wrong with me ;D Well, Alpha Max left a good impression with their Gravure Swimsuit figure from Sonico, that I received a few weeks ago. I already had her prototype on my list, so I didn’t hesitate to place my order for this figure in a few seconds as soon as I noticed that she was availabe for preordering.
I think this 1/6! scaled figure does justice to the appearance of adult Nanoha character, I really like her gentle smile and the huge sidetail. She will be released in February of the next year.

what Im looking forward to …

This figure is called Leviathan, she is an exclusive figure from Hobby Japan in collaboration with AMAKUNI. Leviathan is scaled 1/8 and will have a height of 22cm, the base will add 8,5cm to the height.  Leviathan is sculpted by Hiroshi and this time AMAKUNI is in charge of Leviathan, the next figure from The Seven Deadly Sins lineup. On August 25th this figure can be preordered.

Since I saw the illustration of her I know that I want the figure. Leviathan has the appearance of a cute, yet rebellious punk rock girl. Im a big fan of her outfit and the overall presentation of this character. Orchid Seed won’t work on her unlike on Asmodeus,  but nevertheless AMAKUNI also equipped their figure with a cast off option. I can’t wait until tomorrow (>◡<)

Touwa Erio  – scale: 1/8 – manufacturer: CM – release date: August

Im quite curious about the outcome of this , even though I expect no wonders of CM. Anyway this a cute sculpt and her face seems to be nice as well. Maybe this Erio will hit the bargain bin.

Ignis – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Orchid Seed – release date: October

She also was in the last maybe baby list, maybe I should get her soon. Its a really nicely sculpted figure with a good looking outfit and also the color combination is quite appealing.

Suzuhara Misae – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Native – release date: October

Yeah, Yeah I know the preorder Deadline is already over and I probably won’t get her anymore, but nevertheless she would have been a great figure here in my room. It is a nicely sculpted angel with a beautiful face and convincing female attributes ^^

Amami Haruka  – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Kotobukiya – release date: October

I liked Haruka a lot in the Idolmaster anime, this figure adaption from Kotobukiya’s Angelic Island lineup captures her cheerful and positive personality very well, but I’d rather have a figure of her in a more casual outfit. But her happy open mouth is so adorable

Chouhi Ekitoku – scale: 1/7 – manufacturer: Orchid Seed – release date: December

I don’t know  anymore how long I’ve waited until the figure was ready for preordering. I had high expectations, but felt rather dissapointed by the outcome of magical Chouhi. Somehow her eyes look rather odd, maybe a bit too pale. Argh it feels so stupid, I was really looking forward to it, but now I have only unmatched expectations. Well her butt is still nice, but I won’t order a figure just for a nice butt. Maybe Im just too picky, hopefully further pictures will convince me until December.

Tenshi – scale: 1/8 – manufacturer: GSC – release date: January 2013

I don’t even like Angel Beats! but I like pure girls in cute summer dresses This new figure of Tenshi is convincing on her own. Barefoot and wings Im looking forward to this figure. At Wonfes GSC confidently announced her early release date, but I doubt that there will be no small delay.

Akasa Akari – scale: 1/8 – manufacturer: Alter – release date:  in 2013

Ok these two figures here have no fix release date so I anticipate quite a bit.  Akarin! … , since I started to watch Yuru Yuri a month ago I fell in love with Akasa Akari , she is such a cute and good girl, no matter how cruel the world is around her, she never looses her cheerfulness. She wears a plain school uniform, but with such a sweet face everything would look good on her =)

Melty de Granite  – scale: 1/8 – manufacturer: Alter – release date:  in 2013

Yes a Shinning Hearts figure from Alter,  it was a shallow anime overall, but at least the characters were cute. This figure seems to turn out quite pretty and elaborate. All these details on this Melty and her dress just look stunning and the base turns the whole figure into something enchanting.
