The plan of buying less figures than last year works so far, although it makes the hobby more exhausting, when I decide about the pro and cons of certain figures, compare them and decide against preordering instantly, instead of ordering everything pleasant for the eye.

Some more months passed after New Preorders part 25, since then I accumulated 4 orders and that justifies a new Preorder Post, it’s part 26 of New Preorders. I will talk about my preorders and other figures that appeared recently and I consider as appealing.

Fate/EXTRA – Saber EXTRA

I was very much looking forward to the day preorders were opened, I saw this Saber at last years Wonderfestival as she was still an early prototype. A more curvy Saber in swimsuit is the right thing for me, I got super excited as I’ve learned that she’s scaled 1/6. I like most alternative Saber figures, I already have the Saber Maid R, which I still think is awesome. This Saber has a confident face expression and body language and appears a little teasing and dangerous, not to forget that she looks damn hot ;D

Nakahara Tomoe

With a official price of 14.815 ¥, This is probably is my most expensive preorder, since Native doesn’t ship to germany and I wasn’t that determined to pay a proxy, shiping costs and customs fees, I placed my order at a german shop, Figuya.com. It’s based on a Toni Taka artwork, what I like is that sculptor applied a few changes on her face to make her look more distinctive. The figure has a rich design and looks just beautiful. As Native figure she is supposed to be a little sexy, she’s not as lewd as other Native products she shows her allure with her low cleavage and revealed legs, she has optional panties and a partial castoff feature.

The figure is sitting on a tableclothed table and also comes with a big traditional umbrella.

Shigure – Kancolle

In their evolved form Shigure and Yudachi are the coolest looking Destroyer Class girls. As I saw Shigure shown at the last Wonfes I literally freaked out since she is one of my favorite ship girls, if they had shown Samdare I would have probably suffered a heart attack XD

The design is based on a collector card, that is why she looks a little different than in the Kancolle browsergame, but it is no drestic difference, she’s still looking awesome. I like that she has these big guns, GSC also made them exchangeable with smaller guns, I’ve read that it is also possible to remove the gunholder at her back. The torpedo pods are rotateable.

Kafuu Chino – Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?

Awww this was a warm and sweet slice of lifew anime, have you seen it? Chino is a girl who works at a coffee shop, even with her young age she is very composed and demure, still she is really cute when interacting with her friends. I was really happy about this figure announcement from Ques Q, Chino looks really adorable, I love her pretty uniform and the cute facial expression. She’s listed as 1/7 scaled figure what I really appreciate.

It’s funny that this figure is so not fitting with my other preorders this year, you can guess why. Since she comes out in the same month, I combined her order with the buxom Succubus lady, which I start to feel embarassed about, I can’t imagine myself to display the 1/6 Demon girl though I’m also looking forward to it and her beautiful face… whatever.

 Moco – Captain Earth – Dengeki Special version

I’m a big fan of Captain Earth, it’s the kind of show I enjoy with action, friendship, romance and cool villains. At least one figure of it was announced, Moco one of the villains, not my favorite character from the show, but it’s fair enough. Yeah she’s a sensual character and her clothes are raher extreme. As special version she has some extra parts. I did not hear much praise about Embrace Japan but I can’t be picky also the prototype looks more than just good.

I haven’t ordered these figures, but at least I find them overly interesting and like to list them. It’s unfortunately that most are sheduled for a July release, with 3 preorders in this month I’m already full. Push!! Cover Girl

I feel like I’ve waited an eternity for this figure to reach preorder status, I was follwing the “progress” since it was a grey unpainted prototype. I was delighted to see her ready last Wonfes, but you know happened I don’t want her that badly anymore, that feels so bad.

I recently read a nice quote about her on mfc “seems like a long time since figures with this kind of art style has been made.” Well, it probably wasn’t the intention of the writer, but you can say that she as figure is kinda outdated after these three years. She’s nevertheless cute, don’t you think? I can’t help myself I hate these shoes and socks, that is no convincing beach figure…

Girls und Panzer – Yukari Akiyama

This figure is a great portray of the friendly tank otaku Yukari, Girls und Panzer was one of my top favorite animes recently and I approve of this, be it the dress, the way she is posed or her friendly and bright smile, she’s very cute and surprisingly affordable. Would be cool if all characters of team Anglerfisch would get a figure, I’m no fan of sets, but would consider to make an exception here.

Katsuragi Nama – Senran Kagura

This Katsuragi figure has a certain feature, you can put things between her soft boobs…
I kind of like how this figure is made, her body looks great and the carttonish Senran Kagura style has been adapted faithfully. Ok the often so confident Katsuragi doesn’t look that happy, but that also has a certain appeal to some folks. She’s somehow very cute.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Sayla Mass

I don’t know this character to be honest, but I like pretty vintage space opera costumes like hers, the woman herself has a nice expression on her face and an appealing hairstyle.

Bertille Althusser – Walkure Romanze More & More

I like the design of this figure quite a lot, much more than their previous bikini armor figures to be honest, since bikini and armor have a more appealing desgn. Daiki is always good with strong and buxom warrior lady’s like Bertille is and recreated her alluring body’s in a very detailed way, even better since she’s scaled 1/6. Bertille has lovey corkscrew braids, too. While we are speaking about it, does Daiki still use these cheap black bases?

Sinon – Sword Art Online II

A figure that portrays Sinon as an even more badass sniper that she actually already is. I like that the face goes into a more realistic direction. Also she appears very detailed and nicely made, the 1/7 makes it more interesting, the retail list price unfortunately is a bit high, even when most shops have a discount.

Chitoge Kirisaki – Nisekoi

I plan to watch this show in the next few weeks, Chitoge has a very distinctive appearance as character, I’m already enchanted. Alter made anbespecially great looking figure in a lovely casual outfit captured in a super dynamic, cheerful pose. I love the details of her face so much. Damn July release, hopefully I can get her later… delay, delay, Delay!

Sansei Muramasa – Bunny version

That is probably my favorite bunny suit figure, since she looks beautiful in it. She will have a happy face and an emarassed one. The figure is still work in progress, but I assume her to be ready for preorders within the next two months.

This is the first Wonderfestival event of 2015, since it’s cold outside it is the winter version.

On the 8th of February 2015, the Wonder Festival [winter] opened it’s doors. It’s the most popular figure fair were the big and small figure manufacturers and Garage Kit makers assemble to present their latest works and upcoming products. This time there is a good balance of painted prototypes, unpainted prototypes and early stage announcements.

In this Post I’ve covered everything I found appealing, I added all the available Informations I could get and wrote my evaluation. Keep in mind that all these pictures are of prototype samples and the actual product may look better. It’s a longer Post with over 50 figures,

Shigure Kai Ni – Kantei Collection

Last time I was very delighted that Shigure was announced to be turned into a figure in her Kai Ni version, now she’s already painted and looks all kinds of awesome and pretty.

Hatsune Miku – EV Mirai Version

This a more comical adaption of the Miku character, where she features a rather shocked expression, her biker clothes are also very appealing with some more revealed skin she’s even a bit sexy.

Kasumigaoka Utaha

Yeah this a GSC figure, I never thought thy would have something fanservice related like this, anyway Utaha is a beautiful character the pretty hair with hairband give her a cute appearance, wihout knowing her origin I would like to have her.

Manaka Lala – PriPara

That is probably a bit too candy cute, I still think it’s an adorable design with lovely clothes and a gentle, cheerful smile.

Kissshot Acerola orion Heart under blade

This figure wasn’t forgotten about, finally we see grown up Shinobu, I like the adult look on her face and her vibrant colors.

Yuigahama Yui

I knew this figure had that potential as Yui was still gray, but dude! her latex is all bold and shiny now, the contrast to her skin is marvelous and then this innocent smile, a great looking figure from Max Factory!

Plamya-sama – Sekai Seifuku ~ Bouryaku no Zvezda

I finally watched the anime Plamya sama is based on and I would recommend to do so. This year their figure was finally painted and looks really cool with her eccentric designed outfit.

Sairenji Haruna

The first love interest of the main character really was pushed aside with every new season of To Love Ru, I never forget Haruna, I really liked her kind and cute personality. Seems that I’m not the only one ^^ Momo in bridal fashion was a big success, I was both, surprised and happy about this announcement of Haruna, though she’s 1/7 instead of 1/6 like Momo before.
  

Sorceress

Surprise, it’s not impossible to make a good looking Sorceress figure after all. I really like how they adapted this character, the face portrays the seductive nature of a beautiful witch.

Tama – Selector Spread Wixoss

No idea wh that is, but her sculpt is elaborate and appealing.

Charlotte Dunois

Infinite Stratos, as bad as it may be, has a wonderful cast of different types of girls, Charlotte is a quite likeable girl and this white prototype shows that nicely. That must look great with some more paint.
  

Saber EXTRA – Fate/EXTRA – Swimsuit version

That is the Saber of my dreams and she is scaled 1/6. Last year I was already enchanted as she was still unpainted, she looks so good in this rather Saber unusual appearance, this will be an instant preorder together with Shigure.

Yuuki Yuuna

Yuuna is cute, sporty and has a determined appearance, I really like the pink on her.

Kirisaki Chitoge – Nisekoi

I admit that I don’t know who this girl is, but she has a marvelously, striking design with beautiful colors and great looking casual clothes. The jumping pose is very cool and lively.

Hoshizora Rin

Rin is so cute, even more in this figure adaption, while the Love Live figures from ALTER have no uniform outfits they at least have the same scale, Rin also is scaled 1/7 as Maki and Kotori.

Gotou Matabei – Hyakka Ryouran – Kenki Version

I guess they changed not too much on this prototype since last Wonfes, also my interest in her is still unchanged. I like this Matabei figure and not only because of her bigger backside.

Kotegawa Yui

Orchid Seed did not such a good job with their Kotegawa Yui, some time ago. Thank you ALTER for showing us something better looking, the design is rather cute with a little butt related fanservice, I think her face will be really pretty when she’s painted.

Plamya-sama – Sekai Seifuku ~ Bouryaku no Zvezda

Sure, we have seen a Plamya from Max Factory earlier in this post and this figure also has the same scale, ALTER’s version appears more focused on her female attributes and sex appeal. Plamya sama also shows a scheming smile.

Lorna Murasame

Deena Challenger – Shinwa Taisen Gilgamesh Knights

She is just in the planning, but judging from this illustration the figure must look fantastic, a cheerful and cute, busty blonde in rocker clothes with a futuristic bike.

Sansei Muramasa – Bunny version

The popular dark skinned heroine gets more and more figure adaptions, this time as cute and adorable girl, because of her mature body with wide hips and shapely thighs, she looks extremely appealing in her bunny suit and she also smiles in a friendly manner.

Konjiki no Yami – Childhood version

Personally I’m not very interested in this figure, but somehow I felt like putting her in this list, she’s at least very cute with her bare feet and vibrant smile.

Queens Gate Alice

Haha, I was really excited as I learned about Wing making another loli version of the lovely Alice, I really like the old version from Alpha x Omega, but always wanted a more upbeat looking figure like this, I’m very excited about seeing the prototype later this year.

Yuudachi – Kantei Collection

Yuudachi Kai Ni is also a great looking character design, her she is shown as slightly deformed joint based action figure.

Zuihou – Kantei Collection

I like that Zuihou will be a larger scale figure than 1/8, she’s a cool looking light aircraft carrier, it’s always fun when seeing figures from your Fleet turned into figure material…

  

Kongo – Kantei Collection

I already have a little sad looking Kongou figure from Max Factory, after seeing her in the anime with her rather nuts personality this is probably more appropriate.

  

Mikoze Yui

This one made me curious, it’s a really funny and cute concept of a figure hiding in … whatever this is supposed to be. Anyway the figure inside is cute and has well developed boobs, the cheerful figure is just lovely.

  

Koala

The first figure that caught my eyes, as I started to look at the Wonfes material, I like her outfit a lot.

  

Asseylum Vers Allusia

 

This is a typical Kotobukiya figure, very cute in appearance with a nicely rounded face, she’s not wearing the awesome princess dress.

  

 

Akiyama Yukari

Are there actually any Girls & Panzer figures? No? Anyway I love what Kotobukiya did with Yukari, this is such a nice way to present this character, I’ll definitely consider to order her.

  

Kafuu Chino – Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? was a very sweet anime, I’m glad to see one figure adaption of it. I guess Chino is the audience favorite character, caue she’s damn adorable. As 1/7 scale she should look great.

Atago is not my favorite Kancolle design, but I love her bright and cheerful personality, the way she talks, laughs and smile. As busty blonde she’s also really pretty…

Congratulations! Orchid Seed finally shows one of the “old” grey prototypes from years ago painted, seriously even the most patient human being would freak out, waiting for these figures, should I count them for you …? Comic Megastore Cover Girl, Snow, Komatsu Eiji Cover Girl(4 damn years ago!), Yukishiro May, Ayanokouji Aoi or the Kantoku based original character. Fortunately Push!! is something I am still looking forward to, she’s a beautiful summer figure and the paintjob turned out nicely.

Sakaki Yumiko

It’s no like nothing is happening with their other prototypes, Yumiko for example received her fishnet stockings, she’s a really pretty one, I consider to get SOMEDAY !!!

Angela Balzac

The visual presentation of Expelled From Paradise was a little odd with showing the main heroine as detailed MMD. but as figure she looks rather nice and attractive in her skimpy plug suit.

Saber is popular on an ridiculously high level, here she is again in an elegant, summerly and very short dress and a stylish umbrella.

I like that they are doing something really elaborate with the Asmodeus girl, sure it’s a little ecchi, but I really like her erotic presentation inside this ice dessert, it’s great. I was waiting for a better picture, but nothing better is available at the moment

Maou – Maoyuu Maou Yuusha

Maou looks really cute as farm girl with flap pants, it’s painted this time, I kinda like it, the situation look is very unique and her boobs look great inside her clothes.

Pyon-Kti – Original Character

Pink hair, unbuttoned white shirt and a very sexy lady… Shut up and take my money! The 1/7 scale is not official, but will most likely be true.

Super Sonico

A new Sonico from Native, although this is not the most appealing Sonico illustration, haha and wtf is she doing… her idea of telephone sex might ne just wrong lol. As figure though this might be nicer as you would expect…

Kuramoto Erika – Mahou Shoujo

The Mahou Shoujo figures have a polarizing appearance you either like it or not. The first, Suzuhara Misae was actually beautiful, but with each figure it gets more weird. Erika “Holstein” has a funny pair of ballons, but at least her face seems to be attractive and she has nice hips. Native also showed as more advanced prototype of Nitta Yui, who is actually my favorite among these girls, though they have to put more work into it, the face is somewhat off.

Without the customs officer included with this figure, I might give this another thought… the breast grab is hot ^^

Mary – Shinazu No Himegimi

I really like Native’s collaboration prototypes with Rocket Boy shown with Mary and Chitose. Ahh this is so lewd, yet I really want this announced figure, she looks so amazingly seductive. her boots and gloves aside she is showing a lot, at least her crotch is a little covered. I would buy this with pleasure!

Chitose – Natsu no Kemono

Chitose is a little less bold with her nipple slip. Her outstretched hand, gives this figure a distinctive, more personal  feel, she is really a lovely figure.
  

So that was it for this Wonderfestival 2015 Winter Post, my impression was quite positive even though not everything was like I imagined beforehand I only focused on figures that I found interesting, which was already was too much work, I’m really exhausted now ;D

It’s always a strange phenomenon at Wonder Festival, the less popular companies seldom get the attention from photographers as for example GSC, therefore we people in front of the screen must be happy with less quality pictures. Well, I guess it’s still better than nothing,

Kagura – Gintama – G.E.M. – China version

I already finished 3 seasons of Gintama, it is fun. Kagura is the cutest character in Gintama with her childish voice and bold language she is always fun. Here is a new version from MegaHouse, called “China”. The figure has a pretty dress and comes with traditional umbrella and a funny second face expression. Oh, obviously you can order her starting from today.

Haramura Nodoka – Saki Zenkoku-hen – Sekai Seifuku Sakusen

For some reason this Saki will only be made in 1/10 scale, still she looks very pretty as a whole in her classic sailor uniform. You can also preorder her since a few days.

Himemiya Anthy – Shoujo Kakumei Utena – ChuChu

Megane! Megane! I think this figure prototype looks quite appealing in her vulnarable pose. I’m not that familiar with Shoujo Kakumei Utena, but this girl is supposed to have a darker skincolor, I like that and I’m quite curious how she will look with some color.

Mori Yuki – Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 – Pilot Suit Version 2

I recently finished the OVA series and I liked quite bit, with a great visual presentation and a overworked storyline compared to the old (also great ) anime. MegaHouse made a number of characters of it. I got the nurse  recently and love it. There already was a figure of her, but here is a little more dynamic version of Yuki in a sexy pilot suit and a great facial expression.

Ishikei –  Original Character – C77 Guide Book Illustration

I was pleased to see that Wing got this adorable figure painted for the event, she turned out really nice and close to her illustration. Her face is cute and she is big, I will probably order her.

Saber – Fate/Stay Night – Last Episode

Saber is so popular all the time and she constantly appears in different outfits, this one is especially pretty and shows her in a peaceful manner. I always like to see Saber in alternative outfits that seem to be out of character. I love this friendly and positive appearance. I think it’s great how she stretches her open hand torwards the viewer, you just have to like her, awww.

Konjiki no Yami – To LOVEru Darkness – Childhood version

Yami-chan was still kinda happy and cheerful as a child, this figure shows little Yami in quite cheerful manner with a big smile. She is also a big scale figure.

I guess this is Alphamax first appearance at Wonfes, they gained a solid fanbase within a short time with their steady and increasing quality they can be considered as a promising manufacturer of sexy or hentai figures.

Himekawa Hayuru – Masou Gakuen HxH

This is just illustration status, but I like this project, the tsundere cat girls looks really nice here, I hope they can turn this into a convincing 3D figure.

Tony Taka – Original Character

Tony Taka is on close terms with Alphamax and his artworks are often used in their lineup, here is a cute christmas related cat eared girl with a very short skirt. The design is very cute.

Jack the Ripper – Fate/Apocrypha

I’m happy that Phat could show their painted prototype of this Garage Kit adaption, the small person with the big thighs was one of the figure related things I was looking forward to since some time. She turned out really pretty overall.

Ques Q has a lot of Kancolle stuff planned, like Destroyers like Hibiko or heavy cruiser  Atago, everything based on official ingame artwork, yu can expect a lot of figures from them.

Tenryuu – Kantai Collection

This is a 1:1 adaption of the official in game artworks of Kancolle and the prototype looks already great with all the details, Tenryuu is one of the tougher girls in the game, not really ladylike but she is really cool.

Kitakami Kai – Kantai Collection

I don’t know why they adapted Kitakami after all, but the promising prototype  doesn’t look too bad, actually it’s the opposite. She is a torpedo cruiser therefore she is equipped with lots of torpedo tubes.

Tutankhamun – Eiyuu Senki Gold

I like this one a lot, the design is quite adorable, the petite girl has an ancient Egyptian design and tanned skin, I will keep an close eye on this figure.

Super Sonico – Nitro Super Sonic

Actually, that was the only Sonico figure from this Wonfes that caught my attention, the prototype sculpt looks really good. She is big, curvy and the under bikini top grab is quite erotic. Hopefully the paintjob will bring out her full potential in the end.

Yagyu Jubei – Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride – Maid version

I loved the maid outfits in Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride, they were really pretty, it’s nice to finally see a figure, the dress and body look very nice, but they should work on the face before the release.

Shinonono Houki – Infinite Stratos 2 – Miko version

FREEing put a lot of work ininto their big IS girls line up, I already feared that Houki would be left out, but now she’s will be made, I’m happy because she wears my favorite outfit from this certain episode, the painted prototype looks great.

Hoshii Miki – The Idolmaster (TV Animation)

FREEing showed a lot of prototype figures of popular characters dressed in Yukata’s, Railgun, Idolm@ster and so on. I will look forward  to see them painted.

Penguin Parade seems to have improved since their first figures, I really liked how the faces of their Wonfes lineup figures turned out.

Ryuuzouji Akane – Walkure Romanze

Akane looks just beautiful and sweet with her facial expression, the bikini is mixed with samurai armor, what I like much more than the heavy European armor bikini mix from other Walkure Romanze figures.

Rias Gremory – High School DxD NEW

Most Rias Gremory figures so far turned out with rather unsatisfying results, for whatever reason. I am very impressed by the lovely, expressive face of this one, her little smile is awesome, I don’t mind the slutty dress that much even though she could wear more clothes ^. Oh, I really love her face.

Asuna & Yui – Sword Art Online

This was hard to find I thought, that there has been no progress on this prototype, but look it has been painted, the whole bedroom scene looks quite lovely and Asuna together with her “digital” daughter are a sweet set of characters placed together.

Tony Taka – Original Character

This is one of Taka’s more daring illustrations, that was used to create this quite “exciting” prototype ^^. Dragon Toy is a good company for figures of such kind, it will probably turn out quite nice after the paintjob has been applied.

Another illustration status announcement, the character design is cute with the big eyes and striped bikni, the slimy liquid is a bit too bold in my opinion, but lets wait for a more advanced prototype.

Ok , that was all of my little Wonder festival 2014 summer coverage, in part 2 I wanted to show that also the smaller figure manufacturing companies were showing interesting content and figures at their booths. Also from this list I have figures I’d probably like to add to my collection.

It has been around 4 months since my last New Preorders post, so here is a new one.
Thanks to all the delays from last year, 2014 is already rather crowded with preordered figures which will without question influence this years upcoming preorders in an inconvenient way.
In the meantime I ordered a few fancy plastic things nevertheless 6 new figures actually.

Cerberus – Rage of Bahamut

Yes, I like demon girls a lot and for some reason this list is full of them

When thinking about figures from Rage of Bahamut Olivia from Kotobukiya comes to mind, since I don’t like her design that much and also decided that I won’t buy a Kotobukiya figure again for once (Im not really serious here as you will see later) I’m happy that Max Factory brought their painted prototype and preorders for Cerberus were opened recently.

I also played the smartphone card game “Rage of Bahamut” this girl is based on, it features a number of other pretty demon girls, but the performance is kind of bad on my device.

Cerberus is a pretty girl with a hell of a cute face, twintails and beast ears, she’s rather petite, not too tall with meaty thighs and a fancy, skin revealing outfit. The gold and gloss look spectacular on her soft skin. The doggy gloves/hands are kinda funny, but give her something cheerful, without basis I think she will be delivered with optional hands to satisfy more customers.

Sorceress – Dragon Nest

Finally GSC changed this from a China only figure to something every collector could get their hands on. I was more than happy to be able to place my reservation for this cool looking figure.

Mammon – The Seven Deadly Sins

This is going to be my first Sins figure from Orchid Seed, it should be better qualitywise, than Amakuni. Leviathan is a lovely figure, but the bad cast off still leaves a little bad aftertaste.

Im not planning to buy the complete set of the 7 deadly sins, but the figures I like the most are of interest to me I might get Belphegor and Beelzebub next.  Mammon is an adult woman and actually a mother. She is without a doubt a very curvy girl with big boobs and a butt of similar size. I like her overall design, the voluptuous body, the outfit with all it’s details and the pose where she carries a basket full of demon food. Her face is beautiful and the drill hair as well.

Sonico – Super Sonico The Animation – Figma – Swimsuit version

Do you follow the Sonico anime? I watch it and I like the slow paced slice of life concept, it is close to the setting of Sonicomi, but without cameraman san. I better stay away from any MAL discussion, since it would only annoy me, some complained that there was too much fanservice and some that there is not enough of it. The show is very cute and has a kind setting, I’m glad that they made no idiot out of Sonico, she is in college and actually a dilligent student.

The figma comes with the first volume of the Soniani Blu Ray, it was sold out within minutes, lucky me didn’t wait too long. She looks adorable and I imagine it to be a fun figma to take along in my summer vacation. I love how  curvy she is and how she is holding a swim ring. It appears to be one of the newer figma frames, her hip joints are nicely covered.

Sonico – Nitro Super Sonic – Santa, Swimsuit version

Why have I ordered this again? It’s a Sonico bikini figure with christmas decorations from ALTER.
The figure wears a friendly smile on her face and is sculpted in a sweet gravure idol pose and shows a really pretty cleavage. Don’t expect her to be castoffable, it’s already uncommon to see such a hottie made by ALTER

Mushanokouji Iwai – Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge – BEACH QUEEN

I know it will be a really tiny, small scale figure, but she’s SOOO CUUUTE! The first time I wanted to preorder her she was sold out, but this week she was in stock again. I have no idea who she is but her face and the mass of hair hnnng!

Erunoe – Lil’Fairy – Chiisana Otetsudai-san

This cute little devil was supposed to stay in the “Upcoming figures I’m interested in” category, but I had the tab with her open for two days and ordered her as this post was as good as finished. It’s a tiny little doll with cheerful eyes, I’m kind of glad that she was restocked, the first batch was sold out immediately. She has two maid workmates and I’m partially interested to add this one with the white hair and black uniform.

Amazon – Excellent Model – Dragon’s Crown

manufacturer: MegaHouse release date: July scale: 1/7

Amazon is a strong girl with a set of muscles, still she looks still very feminine in my eyes.
What I like the most is her nice hair and the beautiful face, these blue eyes are so expressive.
An 1/7 scale is rather unusual for this manufacturer, but it is a nice change, to make something bigger. I find it great how Megahouse applied the shading on the very detailed sculpted body.

Two things that bother me, is that her top is too low, where are her nipples supposed to be? and her thighs still look a bit extreme.

Super Sonico – Mouse version

Haha I hope Sonico doesn’t like cheese, that for sure took long until preorders finally opened.
With her tongue out Sonico has a light naughty expression, a little more assertiveness suits her.
The mouse eared figure comes with a huge cheese themed base, The girl looks charming and the focus on her butt is quite nice. I think I like this figure enough to justify a purchase

Mei Sagara – Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!

This girl has a lot of cute megane (glasses) appeal, but somehow she forgot most of her clothes.

Leafa  – Fairy Dance – Sword Art Online

That looks like a great Leafa figure, deep green friendly eyes, pointy ears and a really nice rack.
She’s really pretty and the base fits very well to her, like a small diorama.

I always preferred the other girls in Sword Art Online instead of Asuna, in particular Leafa / Suguha but I found it silly that people started to dislike Asuna as she was trapped in a golden cage. The figure looks lovely in the promo shots, unfortunately this figure was made by the same sculptor as Kobato, like you all know, I didn’t really enjoy, after all. I better play safe this time and try to get her after release in case I like the final product.

Makoto Harada – Yamato Girls Collection – Yamato 2199

Have you ever watched the old Uchuu Senkan Yamato? It’s a combination of the old Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. I did and it was awesome, it sucked that I had to watch the last episode in english, to be fair, the japanese dub also was far from good at first, bu that improved quickly. Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 is a more modern version with fantastic animations. Makoto Harada is the top nurse on the ship and assists the doctor with sake.

As big fan of the show I would like to have her. I love the cute design of her, the sweet face, the fashionable pink suit and the dynamic pose, she has exchangle faces and arms.

The Muse of Range Murata – JC.COM

I’d never believe this lovely GK figure would be adapted as PVC figure, but no it even is from ALTER and of a large scale. The girl is based on the art of Range Murata, it’s a cute and attractive design with a scarf, boots and gloves and cute underwear. A chair is also part of this great figure.

Billy the Kid – Eiyuu*Senki GOLD

A wild, slender girl with a cowboy – bikini dress and a watergun, I find her design totally appealing, she’s proud and has a dominant appearance despite from being half naked.

Anything here caught your attention?

I’m a bit lost here, march, april and may will be full of cool figures, any suggestions what I should get? If I didn’t have brought so many figure preorders from 2013 in the new year, I could order more freely without stressing myself.

Hi today we’ll take a look at little miss sunshine, Inaba Rinne manufactured by MegaHouse.

Inaba Rinne was released in the middle of November 2013, she was sculpted by Kibayashi Norio, who already worked on many, many, many Queen’s Blade figures for MegaHouse.

Her origin is Chousoku Henkei Gyrozetter an 51 episode long anime aimed at the  younger audience. Wow it nearly aired around a year. Actually I didn’t watch a single episode of it.

MegaHouse picked two of the shows heroines, Inaba Rinne and the slightly hotter Rui Akana,
I don’t know how popular Gyrozetter really is, but I like that MegaHouse didn’t just throw out soulless merchandise figures of another “random” anime. Rinne comes with an unexpected amount of parts, like a second head, an alternative left arm, a right hand and alternative boots.

Hair & Face

Rinne is a teenager, her age must be between 10 or 12, I guess. As such she has a lot of cuteness. I really like the atmosphere this energetic little lady radiates, she has a round head with cute ears. The facial details, like the sparkling eyes, the little blush, the nose or the open mouth with the upper front line give Rinne something truly adorable and enchanting. Her second face is also pretty, yet with the closed mouth it shows a more determined expression.

She has brown hair with some shading here and there, her hairstyle is a voluminous side ponytail, decorated with a butterfly hairband. She is wearing her bangs in an divided fashion with stronger deep hanging strands on the right and a full forehead on the left, the curl at the tip of the ponytail is cute. Overall her hair seems to be a bit too close to the simple anime design, a few more strands in her hair would have been nicer for this figure.

Outfit & Body

What I liked about Inaba Rinne at first were her clothes, she’s a fashionable girl, her salmon red shirt has an interesting design with the wide collar and how the sleeves are attached to it.

The garters of her underwear top are wrapped around her neck, which creates a nice look. The white frill on and under her top is really cute, the yellow shorts are also really nice, it is something different once in a while next to all these figures with skirts, I guess this is my first figure with trousers. At her legs she has only one white – blue striped stocking.

Girls need their handbags to carry all their necessities and un – necessities along, also Rinne has a detailed one swung around her neck.

I think the pose of this figure is very well done, it captures her during skating/running on one leg, it’s cute how she balances with her arms and upper body with the other arm attached it looks more as if she is accelerating passionately.

She has special boots  that can be transformed into three wheel roller skates, you have the option to display the figure with the boots that show the wheels out or the retracted version.

You can notice that the sculptor has done a number of Queen’s Blade figures before, when you see that he even implemented a well thought cast off option for Rinne, you can take off the yellow trousers and the frilly part of her top, of course Rinne isn’t nude underneath and wears pink panties. One blogger also ripped off her top, which shouldn’t be done after all, but there is a fully sculpted pink tank top underneath, nevertheless.

It’s always a little weird to talk about physical aspects when the figure is based on a young character, but anyway Rinne has a nicely shaped butt and also her waist is nicely sculpted.
She will become a beautiful lady in the near future

Final Words

I love my cheerful and super cute Inaba Rinne a lot, she is a little sunshine on my messy desk.

MegaHouse put quite some effort in making a lovely figure of Inaba Rinne, she has a very good quality and the different parts and display options make her a good deal. I ordered a number of figures in this year I didn’t really need and didn’t felt happy with after all, KOBATO!!! for example, but with Rinne, I made the right choice. I got her for 5918 Yen at AmiAmi, she’s still available.

Afaik only 6 people on MFC ordered her which I find a bit strange since this one a is a great example of a figure that captures the charm of a cheerful and innocent young girl.

Hey Yo! Whazzup people MC Irma in da house. It felt like forever but in 2013 Irma arrived with her dagger. Ah, well Irma is no hip hop idol, her occupation is Assassin, but she hides her identity with working as a cleaning lady, in fact she is known as Strongest cleaning lady on the Continent.

Queen’s Blade always has been a favorite franchise of mine, even though it has an louch unsteadiness between being borderline hentai and telling an interesting, epic story within a rather grim environment. The first two seasons + OVA’s were quite entertaining for me.

Queen’s Blade Rebellion also had a promising setting and wasn’t bad either but had a strange open end, god knows why it wasn’t already continued, I wanna see more.
Overall I really like when they focus on one of the many interesting characters within the cast.

Unfortunately, I don’t know much about Irma’s personality and don’t remember much about her role in the Queen’s Blade anime, it is told that she is a kind of coldhearted person, she doesn’t like to be around noisy humans, but cats are something she likes and cares for a lot.

Irma was created as part of MegaHouse’s Queen’s Blade Excellent Model line and released in the end of July 2013. The figure is the debut works of Roin, keep it up Roin youre awesome ^^. Irma is scaled 1/8 and has an overall height of 21 cm, she comes with a number of parts like two scabbards, a sword, a dagger, sword and dagger hilts to be placed in the scabbards and a torso.

Hair & Face

Irma has light blue hair with dark shading at the tips, the hairstyle is short and appears rather wild with many single strands from the back it also looks great. The head of the figure is slightly tilted downwards which makes her face a bit hidden from the left. In other cases that might be a bothering thing, but in this case it gives this figure the right appearance. Under her bangs she “hides” very expressive and detailedy eyes in a vivid pinkish tone. The cheeks underneath are slightly flushed, the mouth is desinged in a fierce way with clenched teeth and light pink lips.

The face is very detailed and not flat a all, the eyes look beautiful also the sulpted lower lip and the nose give her head a good 3 dimensional shape and a very attractive appearance.

Outfit & Body

Irma’s pose seems to capture her shortly before striking down on her opponent with her stretched leg and sword and dagger in her hands, it’s a very action orientated pose that is befitting her feline like body. In case you are curious, yes Irma stands firmly on her solid metal peg. The base isn’t the most creative one, but it’s ok not every manufacturer pays much attention to this aspect of figure manufacturing.

She is wearing a modified, skimpier version of the death squad armor, which is a lot more skin revealing. On the other hand it looks really cool and  badass. The outfit consists of many layers and fine details that makes it interesting to inspect the figure more thoroughly. The wrinkles or the red and golden lines, it’s a quite spectacular design. Irma must be an eccentric assassin.

The black vest with the high collar has a nice leather texture, there a  golden rims and a little fur above the shoulders. The top is short and stretchy, it barely covers Irma’s boobs halfway. MegaHouse isn’t shy about accentuating pointy nipples under the top. Around her hips she has a broad belt like piece of cloth which doesn’t cover her light grey, high cut thong very much.

Mainly used colors of her outfit are anthracite, black, red and gold, but there is even more interesting things about her, like the half sleeves and gloves, the tough combat stockings or also these bossy black high heel boots. Optionally she can be equipped with a dagger and/or the slightly larger sword. The scabbards can be placed in smalls holes at her belt and thighs.

The chocolate brown skin color has an exotic flair, since such figures are more than rare and of course this tan suits Irma perfectly, the shading here and there increases her attractivity points.

While the majority of Queen’s Blade characters is buxom, Irma is the most slender, mature character among them. She is rather petite in an athletic way, but she also has a decent bust.
I would say she is a great example for being slim and sexy. Nevertheless Irma is carrying a rather meaty butt around when you compare it with the rest of her body, it’s really nice actually.

Cast off

Like most Queen’s Blade figures, Irma is castoff able and it works in the same way as the previously reviewed Chouhi, she has a semi nude torso than can easily be exchanged with the other one. It’s a seamless procedure without paint transfer or other dangers as abrasion marks.

So when her clothes are gone, the remarkable body sculpting of Irma comes to light, there are so many nice aspects of her body that itfeels to stupid to mention everything; there are these nicely rounded shoulders, collarbones, firm breast with cute pointy nipples and also well defined abs. The figure also shows a beautiful backside with lovely shoulderblades and firm round butt.

Final Words

Irma didn’t receive much love or attention from figure manufacturers before, it seemed rather unrealistic to believe a figure of her would ever be made, but MegaHouse created one and let me say it is a really great figure of her. I also think  that she is one of the best Queen’s Blade figures that were created by MegaHouse so far. She has the face, the body, the outfit, the pose and the quality for deserving to be considered a really great figure. Again I took too many pictures ;D

We already took a look at a few figures from the summer Wonder Festival in part 1, with a little delay, I present you the second part of  Wonder Festival 2013  summer event. Maybe the topic lost it’s hype appeal by now, but I still want to list the remaining figures that caught my attention, so here we go with the featured figures from a number of popular manufacturers.

To save some time, I haven’t left a comment on everything , but I’m interested in these items.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica – Kaname Madoka

Is there really a need for more Madoka figures from GSC? sure this appears more creative and dynamic than the first batch of figures, but still it’s a little odd.

Magi – Labyrinth of Magic – Morgiana

Magi was a cool anime that will continue soon, aside from shounen cry baby Alibaba’s depression, it was totally awesome. Alibaba got no figure, but Morgiana an Alladin. The character designs were very appealing and therefore I think these figures will be great.

In the official illustration the Amazon character looked a little deformed to me, here MegaHouse gives her more appealing shape, even the face seems softer now. I like the design a lot even though I prefer it more petite in general, the Amazon is sexy with her muscles and overall appearance.

Busou Shinki – Altlene

I totally wished for a PVC adaption of these two elaborate Garage Kits, my heart literally skipped a beat as I saw Altines and Altlene on Wonfes. I like the Busou Shinki anime quite a bit, the tiny, kind robots were really adorable. This might be really cool, I slightly prefer Altines to be honest.

Belphegor is my most favoríte design after Leviathan,  she looks like a cute animal mixed with a cute girl （‐＾▽＾‐）The clothes or what is left from her outfit are attractive, hehe these stripes around her legs make me dizzy. The sitting pose already creates a number of photographic possibilities in my head.

A sexy, sailor seifuku Succubus, this combination is brought to you by anime culture XD Im not sure about getting something like this, but it’s interesting and the 1/6 scale is cool. The censoring might be a bit misleading, she’s wearing underwear, there is nothing coming out *lol*.

Original Character – Suzuki Margit 

Can Native figures never wear panties?  Obviously not, aside from that I really like this figure, she is cute on her chair. With the glasses and the lab coatshe looks a bit like a shy yet adorable laboratory girl. She partially stimulates hides her genitals with a test tube, this might appear a bit too bold.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT – Kashiwazaki Sena

A buxom 1/4 scaled Sena figure isn’t bad at all ヾ(＾-＾)ノ.  I imagine that this figure will look beautiful after it got painted. Sure it’s just another swimsuit figure, but Sena is the prtotype of a natural bikini beauty and she’s big and sculpted in a nice pin up pose.

Nitro Super Sonic – Sonico – Tiger Parka 

For some reason I honestly dislike this figure, I dislike it as much as I like it, actually.  A cheerful Sonico with a “casual” outfit is nice, but here she looks so exaggerated happy that it nearly looks faked. When I had sorted out my thoughts about her, I might place my order.

Vividred Operation – Isshiki Akane – CharaGumin 

Even though Akane turned out as a rather silly character, she is really popular among figure manufacturers. I think Volks figure is the best so far and captures all of her personality, too bad she’s a Garage Kit, but maybe I will try to acquire her nevertheless.
