As first review of 2019 I chose the stunning figure of Ashikaga Chachamaru made by ALTER. Ashikaga Chachamaru is based on an VN named Soukou Akki Muramasa, which has been released in 2009.

I actually have to admit that I don’t know anything about her character and only a little about the game she is based on, except from the several CG illustrations that are widely spread around the internet, there aren’t that many informations available. Soukou Akki Muramasa hasn’t been translated so far. The game itself appears quite dark themed, with it’s dystopian setting, it also has no problems with showing the heroines in roughed up conditions.

Nevertheless it’s a popular game with beautiful and attractive character designs, illustrated by the great Namaniku ATK. The game already provided over a dozen figures of mainly Muramasa and Chachamaru. ALTER’s Ashikaga Chachamaru is her 3rd figure adaption, she was released in early December. She has been sculpted by Amato, is scaled 1/7 and measures 22 cm in height. After putting the figure on the base no further assembly is required.

The figure has a very pretty face, the big amber colored eyes are quite expressive, I’m a fan of her thicker eyebrows. She has a slightly opened mouth with a little fang. A detail I also like a lot about the figure are the pointy ears.
Overall she has a friendly expression with a mischievous gaze, it’s really great how lively her face turned out.

Chachamaru hairstyle reminds me of everyone’s favorite vampire Shinobu. She has very long hair with pointy tips, it shows a lot of movement and is captured in a dynamic momentum. The hair is painted in a not too brash tone of yellow with darker shading here and there. The bushy fringe gives the girl a wild and attractive look.

The figures design captures Ashikaga Chachamaru in the middle of undressing with an alluring intention. She’s a girl of average size sporting an enchantingly petite an youthful body. Even though she is a petite girl, her back and abdomen shows a lot of definition. Chachamaru isn’t especially well endowed, she has a small chest and a sexy small butt.

In a way her fairy like built emits a sense of fragility, of course the figure itself is a sturdy one. Her legs are relatively long and the thighs have a nice volume. Chachamaru looks really attractive and the sporty appearance suits her nicely.

The figures halfway dressed outfit is very sexy. She has nothing to wear over her bra, I have no idea where her top went to? She wears a bra with opened up backside. She wears blue striped underwear in a girly design. with blue ribbons at the bra’s and panties front. The bottom part is a thong though. Chachamaru wears nicely designed hotpants painted in orange and brown, it shows great shading effects and realistically sculpted wrinkles.

In her hand the figure holds a long black belt, that was ought to keep the tight piece of clothing in place.
She wears sturdy looking fingerless gloves that cover 2/3 of her forearm, it gives the petite figure a slightly tough appearance. the right hand has a yellow rope wrapped around and you can notice Chachamaru’s tiny thumb.
Her black thigh highs accentuate her lovely thighs and trained calves, they also create the perfect zettai ryōiki.

Final Words
I like this figure of Chachamaru a lot, to me she is adorable and erotic, her facial expression is simply great. Together with hotpants and thigh highs her outfit looks cool. On first look there is the girly underwear but it turns out to include a set of thong designed panties. Despite from looking tough and used to fighting the petite character nevertheless triggers the “must protect” instinct.

Ashikaga Chachamaru from Alter is a wonderful adaptation of Namaniku ATK characters design. Her alluring expression is both, attractive and cute, it also conveys a feeling of danger. The figures slender and athletic body is really great. In combination with her skin revealing outfit, Chachamaru emits a lot of seductive appeal.

Her character is based on an hentai doujin manga named “Zettai Junpaku Mahou Shoujo” illustrated and written by the well known illustrator Raita Honjou. The doujin manga even was turned into a 6 minutes long teaser OVA.

The story with the pretty angels enjoys a great popularity with Suzuhara Misae as fan and manufacturers favorite.

Native started making figures of Zettai Junpaku Mahou Shoujo in December 2012 starting with Suzuhara Misae. Unfortunately, in 2012 I still thought that she was a figure too scandalous for me to have, how times can change. After Misae followed Sasaki Kotone in 2013, Nitta Yui in 2016 and the last one is Kuramoto Erika you’ll see today.

Erika is a figure from the Creator’s Collection of Native, the figure is scaled 1/6 and proudly measures 24 cm. She was sculpted by Kawagoe Hiromitsu, check out his figures, he started sculpting in 2006. It was a good decision to hire a sculptor with a lot of experience since the illustration this figure is based on was probably not easy to adapt into 3D. This Kuramoto Erika figure surpasses her illustrations appeal, the boobs are smaller and her face has more depth.

This figure obviously features the famous Raita proportions for curvy girls (two of the angels are less curvy). The characters have a long upper body, huge boobs a super narrow waist and extra wide hips. I’m more used to figures with less stylish body sculpting, personally I would have made the torso 1/4 shorter, but Erika is still looking great.

What I like more about this figure than her “out of this world” proportions is her lovely and expressive face. Erika is presented as cheerful girl, with a friendly open mouth smile and beautiful brown eyes. The very detailed eyes are directed to the left, which adds a flirty look to her. The surprisingly detailed ears are decorated with fancy earrings.

Hahaha you also get a different faceplate that shows Erika with an emotion of both shock and embarrassment, it’s ought to be used in combination with her bursting bikini top part. It’s actually looks more hilarious than erotic.

Erika has super pretty hair painted in dark brown with a tint of red. Erika has a twintails hairstyle, each side splits up into a number of wildly flowing strands of hair. There is a high level of detail, on close view you will notice all these tiny lines on her hair, it’s really super detailed.The twintails are decorated with fancy clasps, they consist of half circles painted in metallic gold and pointy triangles painted in light grey.

Erika’s outfit exposes the most amount of skin from all of Native’s Zettai Junpaku Mahou Shoujo girls, she mainly wears a skimpy white bikini. Around her neck is a nicely sculpted collar with a pretty pattern and a purple crystal in the middle I also like her short sleeves with the cute ruffles at the wrists. The hip armor has a pretty design, the metallic colors look great in combination with the silky textured clothes. The fancy thigh high boots are very pretty as well.
The figures clothes aren’t just white they show complex variations of dark shading to match the style of Raita’s work.

Erika has a fantastic looking body and a fantastic looking butt, nice, very round and juicy with her bikini bottom pulled down, her buttocks are highlighted perfectly. From below you can admire her nicely sculpted private parts if desired.
I’m not really interested in having these details, but I don’t mind either when it’s not done in a too bold way.

The wings are quite impressive, the figure is equipped with 2 pairs of them, the smaller ones are coming out of her neck and the big ones from her lower back. These wings are sculpted in an organic way, the thin parts might look a bit scary, but the tips are really beautiful, also their nice shades of purple, pink and turquoise create an appealing view.

The figure has a pretty black base, the top is transparent and reflective with magic circles printed on it.
What is interesting in this regard, is that the “pillars” of cloth that are going downwards from the hip armor make it possible for Erika to stand without base. The risk of the figure toppling over is not present and you don’t have to worry about broken pegs, like it’s the case with so many other figures from time to time.

Her weapon is a nicely designed, long spear, which she is holding behind her back. Erika has an interesting pose that shows complex articulation, I really like the lively and cheerful appearance of her. It seems to be a kind of victory pose and she makes a devils sign with her fingers, it’s very funny that an angel shows the devils sign, but an angel also should not wear such an outfit. I think the position of her legs is a bit awkward although it just follows the illustration.

Final Words

Well, yes the Kuramoto Erika figure from Native turned out amazingly nice, her whole appearance even though her being half naked is simply beautiful. My favorite is Erika’s pretty head with her enchantingly cheerful smile and also the elaborately styled hair. I feel a bit of regret about not getting the first figure of Mahou Shoujo from Native in the past, I don’t care about the skinny angels but Misae is so pretty. Anyway, I’m glad that I at least ordered the second prettiest character, Kuramoto Erika. Raita designs are quite polarizing and I don’t really like the extremely stylish proportions of Mahou Shoujo, the Valkyria Chronicles character designs while also being drawn by Raita, are more pleasing to the eye. Of course I like Erika a lot and she has been referred to as beautiful by my friends and family.

In February 2016, I’ve reviewed the Shigure Kai Ni version, that focused on the character as warrior. Kancolle figures are generally bristling with guns and equipment for naval warfare, but this Shigure has none of such things.

Like the name implies, the Shigure – casual version is portrayed on her day off, she is wearing her winter school uniform with a jacket over it to match the autumn theme.  The Shigure – casual version was released in August 2018 and manufactured by GSC. The figure is scaled 1/8 and more or less based on an illustration that was in the Nyantype magazine from November 2016, sculptor Yuukoon had a bit of artistic freedom and turned it into a very nice figure.

Although the figure measures only 21 cm her portrayal and appearance are very expressive and nearly iconic. Shigure is very photogenic, she looks like right out of an outdoor shooting from a fashion magazine. Shigure is leaning on a fence, one you would see in a nature related park. She and the fence are attached on a round brown base, it has an appealing stone like texture, half of the base is covered by a cluster of as well as separate ginkgo tree leaves.

Shigure’s hair looks beautiful, it accurately follows her official character design with huge ahoge and the “dog ears”, it shows sharp contours and has a fluffy look at the same time. On the left side of her head is a nice hair ornament.

At 1/8 scale she apparently has a small head, but the figure has a very detailed face nevertheless. Shigure has beautiful blue eyes, the optional red framed glasses give Shigure a mature and also smart appearance, without them her face looks a bit “naked”. Her cheeks show some subtle blush and the slightly open mouth is cute.

The clothes of this Shigure are what you would consider casual, still many elements of a school uniform are present, although a casual look has been created. The jacket is quite nice, it looks cool how Shigure has one hand in the side pocket. Her red loosened up necktie is nice to look at. The very pretty square patterned skirt might be piece that isn’t looking like part of a school uniform. Overall the clothes look great and are nicely sculpted I like how the clothes follow the bodylines tightly and how the slender but attractive body is accentuated.

The figure is designed in a way that you could display her without skirt, wearing her black panties, but I thought it would be rather weird to only wear panties in the park. Her legwear consists of black kneesocks and brown loafers.

With the added items like bag and a retro camera around her neck, she could pass as a student of photography.

Because of her size Shigure might appear like a simple figure, but she isn’t. The pose were Shigure is leaning on the fence in an expressive way shows great articulation. I really like how her left hand touches the glasses frame with her hand, that said fingers and frame doesn’t align that well, there is 1-2 mm distance, maybe I was too dumb to get it in the correct position.

Final Words

This was my th review of a Kantai Collection figure, I really like my Shigure – casual version figure, that shows a different approach on the origin she is based on. It’s very nice to see one of the Kantai Collection characters in a different context than with weapons and machine parts, after all the character designs from the game are enchanting.

The appearance of this figure is rather mature. In this adaption Shigure is not brimming with a smile, of course her character is actually not the upbeat type. Here she wears a serious and yes, a somewhat blank expression. I think it fits the overall style of the figure. The figure has a cool pose a pretty looking outfit and an appealing base.

Good Smile Company planned a few more figures of Kantai Collection characters with a casual  look, tagged as “Shopping Mode”. These figures are based on Kaga, Haruna and Kashima.

Shiina Chieri is the main heroine from Baka Dakedo Chinchin Shaburu no Dake wa Jouzu na Chii-chan, which means something like “It’s stupid but just sucking cock is good” Yes, now I`m rather shocked myself, don’t get lead astray by the crude title, it`s after all, a vanilla hentai with a sweet story.

Shiina Chieri is gyaru character, in anime culture gyaru characters are most likely portrayed as good girls with a big heart. She is a sweet girl only a bit bad in school. I liked her cute personality and beautiful character design.

The purchase was love at first sight, she is a wonderful figure with a dynamite body and a beautiful smile. The only question was which version I wanted in the end, the Sky Blue version with a flustered face, the regular version with leopard pattern bikini or the glossy Extremely Limited Distribution Edition. On the past Wonfes even a non tanned version was offered. I decided for the Extremely Limited Distribution Edition, but what is so extremely limited about the Shiina Chieri figure?  In short the figure has a glossy top coat, which looks really great and attractive.

Q-six is mainly a manufacturer of ecchi figures, they mainly adapt characters from h manga or hentai anime.
Shiina Chieri was sculpted by Nollgreco and is scaled 1/6 (18cm). The figure has been released in June 2018.The figures box includes 2 faceplates, one with tongue out, which is very good and funny, she also offers exchangeable arms for each sides, there also is a popsicle that Chieri can hold in one of her hand. The bikini is castoff able. There are many different display options. A set pubic hair decals in blonde and black color of different sizes is also included.

In advance of receiving this figure I had no idea how the glossy tan would look in person. The tanned skin tone alone already turned out quite pretty and interesting, between all my mostly pale figures, the orange brown color stands out and is a real eyecatcher. The glossy finish adds a wet look to the figures body and highlights her great curves.

The face is not as shiny as the body, the effect is moderately reduced, it won`t get in the way of admiring Chieri chan. It is very cute with these lively purple eyes. Her gaze points to the left makes her expression flirty and sweet. The eyebrows are thicker than usual, it`s actually quite nice. She also has a simply adorable mouth with accentuated lips.The alternative face comes off as a bit naughtier in appearance with her cute tongue sticking out, the sculpted upper front teeth is very nice in addition to her expression.

The popsicle comes along as neat item and can be use in such context without she seems to be in heat.The outfit consists of a skimpy designed bikini and loose socks, the top is a bit thick and in general not so convincing, We should probably not use it anymore. The lower part is better and align better with her body.

Speaking of her body Shiina Chieri is so hot 

Her wide hips look really sexy as well as her nicely sculpted belly, I like that the sculptor made it soft looking and a bit squishy. Most prominent though are probably her generously sized boobs, common for your hentai heroine next door. In this figures case they are huge, but don`t defy gravity, I see no place for complains. Also her pink nipples look great next to the tanned skin. Her butt is nicely shaped, it just appears a bit dwarfed by the size of her boobs.

The sexy figure is presented in a kneeling pose, which highlights her hips, thighs and belly. The arms allow you to display her in a variety of ways, playing around with the different arms was fun.

Without her panties Chieri looks quite beautiful as well with full focus on her hips and lower abdomen, you also notice her cute cameltoe, the figure has sculpted genitals, but they are presented in a subtle manner.

And no! you can`t insert anything there, which seems to be en vouge with ero figures these days. But such a figure won`t come into my house

Final Words

Shiina Chieri from Q-six is a very nice figure adaption of the hentai heroine, she has a very cute face, the other face is nicely lewd, but still cute. The figure has a gorgeous body with a splendid bosom and extremely detailed belly.
Her tanned skin looks fantastic and the glossy finish of the Extremely Limited Distribution Edition is very nice to look at. She is so beautiful that she looks best when displayed without clothes or half nude, also since the bikini top is not that great. the different display options of her face and arms are a very cool extra to have. I will try out these pubic hair decals another time. This is my first purchase of a Q-six figure and I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of it.

I will pay more attention to their future releases, in case they are only mildly lewd I’d get another one.

I have bought quite a number of Kantai Collection figures in the last few years, but this one is especially nice. Amakuni’s Kashima has a number of additional  parts; 1 alternative arm and hand part for left and right. The figure also has a second smaller base, for displaying her without weapons, for this also a nice back cover is provided.

Kashima is a character from the Kantai Collection browser game, she is very popular and with her voice and overall appearance she is especially cute. Unlike her sadistic sister ship Katori, Kashima is a very gentle girl, her general pattern of speech is friendly, slightly flirty and coquettish. Twitter and Pixiv or fanart in general portrayed her as easy to have girl, which I found rather cruel, but more about it in a later paragraph.

On a historical note Kashima was officially a training cruiser for the Imperial Japanese Navy, sometimes she was used as flagship but her main purpose was that of a training cruiser. The Kashima cruiser actually survived World War II and was not used for tests of nuclear weapons afterwards. Instead she was made a repatriation transport ship that under the command of the American authorities, transported japanese prisoners of war back to the homeland, which is rather sweet when I think about it.

I didn’t have much interest in Kashima before, she wasn’t part of my Kancolle online fleet and I wondered about all the hype. Shortly after the figures was announced a friend showed me a short doujinshi about Kashima. It showed her in different situations where she acts quite lewd like to be expected from her and breaks in tears in the end, because she doesn’t like it at all ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚

That poorly illustrated piece created a deep feeling of guilt and sadness inside me, it points out a critique on anime pop culture, Kashima is a good girl but in most fanart she is bluntly put, mainly portrayed as slut, which is honestly often happening with female anime characters. Since that day I cant’t enjoy ecchi fanart like I used to. To protect Kashima’s dignity I decided to buy her figure and take good care of it. Show some respect for your anime waifus!

Now lets talk about the figure in detail, Kashima is wearing a sassy beret with Uniform Yankee signal flags at the sides.

Kashima’s hair is nicely sculpted and painted in a light purple tone, she sports a curly twintail hairstyle of rather short length. Overall her hairstyle is slightly curly at the tips. It is a very cute hairstyle that matches the characters overall sweet appearance. Her face has a very smooth texture without sharp corners, the figure has blue eyes with a distinctive design that makes her look attractive and adorable. Her sweet lips add the final touch to her beautiful face.

Kashima wears a gorgeous looking uniform, the cream white color and overall design create an elegant look, her olive green shirt shows it’s collar and frilly sleeves under the jacket, also her nice and modestly sized chest begins to show.

She wears a dark colored pleated miniskirt with decorative white line and inlay. Its shortness reveals her curvy thighs. While the overall figure has a slender silhouette, those meaty and womanly legs do stand out. I like that a lot about her. Amakuni added a special surface to her legs, the feature is called “soft skin” and you can feel the difference ♡.

The figure is castoffable, the skirt is, it’s absence reveals her fancy black panties. Unfortunately Kashima’s butt is more or less flat, compared to her thighs it’s a small disappointment for me, so I better leave her skirt where it belongs.

Kashima’s weapon backpack is the coolest and realistic looking that I have ever seen on a kancolle figure since Yuudachi. Between the main turrets she has two AA guns, one on each side, under those two searchlights are installed, the shiny lenses look really great. Her main turrets, AA guns and searchlights are extremely moveable. Furthermore Kashima’s equipment involves a pair of binoculars and a depth charge launcher carried like a briefcase.

Optionally the arm that hold the binoculars and has a ship part like bag can be exchanged with an arm where Kashima touches her collarbone. On the left side you can exchange  the hand that holds the depth charge launcher briefcase with a hand where Kashima moves her fingers playfully. When you don’t want to use the weapon backpack, because it requires too much space or for whatever reason, Amakuni was so kind to include a smaller base and a pretty plug.

Final Words

Amakuni’s Kashima deserves a premium tag and it’s worth every Yen. The figure has a very sweet face, a super beautiful and detailed uniform, exceptionally cool weapon backpack and different options to display her, make her an awesome figure from the Kancolle franchise. Also the big size gives her an iconic appearance. She is actually a bit better than the Kancolle figures that GSC or Max Factory made so far.

If I would plan a trip to Japan, I would probably chose Okinawa before Tokyo. Bikini figure photoshootings are always a good excuse for me to play with sand XD I really like to prepare those indoor beach settings.

Today’s figure of choice is Gotou Jun from the Tenshi no 3P! anime. From what I heard it’s quite loliconic, so far I haven’t watched it. Maybe I should be glad about it. Anyway I don’t have to know the origin of the character, to purchase a figure of my liking. PLUM manufactured this enchanting figure of a young girl, I actually noticed that
PLUM makes all the cute and innocent loli figures on the market. It’s cool that they found their niche in that category.

Fortunately my sexual orientation is not pointing in any harmful direction lol. I think it’s ok to like loli characters for being cute and adorable like this. In general I prefer ordering figures of attractive Onee sans, but when I saw it, I really had to order this little angel with the sunflower in the hair.

The Gotou Jun – Summer Bikini version was released in March 2018. She is scaled 1/7 and measures 21,5 cm.

The figure has the typical appearance and proportions of a young anime character, a big head placed on a petite frame body. Gotou looks especially nice with the pastel tones of purple and the bare skin. She also has really pretty hair, too. A deep hanging fringe and cute long separate strands all around from the back you will notice how asymmetrical and unique her hairstyle actually is. The hair shows nicely decorations as well, like the semi transparent ribbon with jagged edges, it shows a nice dynamic movement, the added color in the element of the sunflower is also a quite nice detail.

Gotou portrays the image of a cheerful girl very well, her big purple eyes are very lively and the strong blush is a welcome feature, she also has this perfectly sculpted mouth with upper front teeth, to complete her adorable look.

The figure wears a short bolero jacket over her bikini, it’s frilly sleeves cover her wrists in a very cute way. It’s a cute bikini design, a bit skimpy, but not naughty at all, the frills here and there underline the figures cute direction. Around her left leg she wears a matching garter with a sweetly looking ribbon. The tiny feet are equipped with shoes for the beach, PLUM could have just made her go bare foot, but I’m glad that it was decided to give Gotou these shoes.

The figure has a rather simple standing pose although  the upper body involves more movement. The sculpting of her body looks very good, most of the focus has been set to her upper body and cute belly, the thin legs aren’t very interesting on their own, but together with the shading color that highlights certain areas, the figure is very appealing and pretty. It’s also really enchanting how she is standing there with the angled arms and fists tilted backwards.

Final Words

Alltogether I’m really happy about this purchase, I received a very cute bikini figure. She has a lovely face and her outfit with the bolero jacket looks great. PLUM manufactured the figure of Gotou Jun as enchanting and nice as the prototype already implied. Her probably shameless origin aside this little angel with her adorable pose puts a smile on my face.

She was released at the end of January 2018. She was sculpted by Hiroshi and is scaled 1/8. There also was a WHS heavy armament version, to me it added not much to the figure, so I payed around 5k less for the pacifist version.

I seriously was [on] and [off] about this figure on the one hand i always wanted a figure of Takao on the other hand I wished for a different adaption than this. You should know, that I always was a fan of the elaborate Kantai Collection fanart on Pixiv, also the naughty ones ^^. The  Kantai Collection figures are all based on In Game design. Unfortunately, I would actually dare to say. In many cases I often wished for a different fanart adaption.

Nevertheless, even though I considered to cancel her a few times I’ve kept my preorder active.

Takao is a heavy cruiser, in Kantai Collection heavy cruiser literally means curvy character. She is a cool, soft spoken character and one of the older ship girls. In comparison to her bright and cheerful sister ship Atago, Takao is less flashy, she has a darker personality and is somehow more naughty.

The figure has pretty black hair, it’s nicely detailed and shows a number of separate strands and a nice dynamic flow. Takao’s face shows a puzzled expression with red eyes and cute raised eyebrows, maybe she noticed how short her skirt actually is. Joking aside the figure has a very lively and adorable expression.

The best aspect of this figure is the bright navy blue uniform, the design is really beautiful with the white edges, golden details and wrinkles. The sailor hat is so adorable. It’s actually quite amazing how tight fit this uniform is and how it’s even able to stretch around Takao’s ample boobs like this Her shirt cuffs and black gloves add a lot of elegance.

Of course a lady needs a bag, it resembles the smokestack and bridge of the real Takao ship. The outfit is overall very detailed with her stockings and garter belt she resembles a Pin up girl. On each of her stockings is a cute green planes. Her shiny red shoes are nice painted and the pointy fins look really cool.

This figure actually portrays Takao a bit too petite, she should have wider shoulders and a less narrow waist and more thighs volume. Oh I’m so demanding, but nevertheless the slender Takao with big boobs is also very attractive. She wears a tight and very short skirt, a good quarter of lower buttocks is exposed, a quite nice view if you ask me. Apparently Kantai Collection is a fanservice heavy game and all outfits are tight, except for the smaller destroyer girls.

Final Words

Even though, I had mixed feelings about this figure, during the photo session Takao showed what she is made of. I had a lot of fun with the post processing. It’s a nicely made figure with amazing details and a very dynamic pose. Her outfit together with the stunning body creates a cool and sexy combination. I don’t miss the guns of the heavy armament version, the light armament version is as good as the other one, the guns are just an distract from the pretty figure.

My next figure will be Kashima from Amakuni who will be released by tomorrow

Nevertheless after seeing pictures of the final figure, I decided that I need the Sonico – Clumsy Office Lady figure, too

This Sonico – Clumsy Office Lady version was manufactured by Native as part of their Character’s Selection, as 1/6 scaled figure. She was released in mid december of 2017. The illustrator for this scene with Sonico was Tsuji Santa,
who do take a lot of liberty with her proportions sometimes. This figure was the first work Yamaki Chihiro as sculptor.

The figure came in a totally oversized box, even when considering the number of parts inside, it’s a chunky box.

Let me list the parts for you, there are two file folders, a file folder container, a notebook, a pen, a wired telephone, a green teddy bear, a desk plate and of course the figure itself. This Sonico is figure is quite heavy and sturdy.

The figures head is decorated with the trademark headphones of this certain character. Sonico wears her usual hairstyle, but the sculptor added more detail to it, the well defined strands are pretty and the pastel pink is sweet.

Sonico’s cute head is nicely sculpted and the face is very pretty, her detailed eyes are not just glossy, they are shiny with a glass like texture. The cute open mouth shows her upper and lower front teeth line. Her appalled expression leaves several ways for interpretation, either she suddenly noticed how entangled she is in the telephone cord or she just doesn’t like the angry voice at the other side of the line.

The pose looks interesting and sexy, but I would not say its a natural situation, I mean, who would lie on the desk with a telephone cord wrapped around one leg while wearing a nervous expression on the face. Whatever the reason it is a nicely articulated pose and the figure is super detailed, especially when you pay attention to the hands for a second.

Before the release it wasn’t clear if this figure would be partially castoff able, but the figure includes an alternative vest part to display Sonico with exposed boobs, the skirt won’t come off and so we can’t admire her beautiful butt without a layer of cloth. This figure looks best fully dressed, the alternative option, while not really necessary is good to have.

In a normal situation Sonico’s office dress would actually look cute and appealing, the short sleeved white blouse and pink colored vest, together with the ribbon around the collar look really cute. The clothes for the lower body have a more seductive character, for example the black pencil skirt that tightly stretches around her well endowed hips.

Also these partially see through thigh highs with a darker rim are wonderfully made and super sexy. At her feet she is wearing rather neutral black high heels. Sonico would nearly pass as diligent office lady if her clothes weren’t really tight and her body sexy dynamite. She has a shapely womanly appearance, those button bursting voluptuous boobs and really wide hips, I like the narrow waist a lot and all together the proportions create a stunning hourglass shape.

Her buxom thighs are quite emphasized in this pose, the soft looking, cone shaped thighs are a real eye catcher.

In the alternative display option Sonico’s boobs have popped out of her blouse from the center with the upper and lower buttons still closed. Her boobs look nice and have pretty, pale pink nipples. The way the phone cord is wrapped around and between her legs is quite naughty befitting for a Native figure and getting the cable(s) in place was no easy task, either (⊙.☉)7.

Final Words

While I wasn’t really convinced by this Sonico figure at first, after I have taken a closer look, I would claim that she is among the best ones, first she is a big 1/6 scale figure, secondly she has a beautiful face and hair, thirdly she wears a cute office outfit wrapped around an amazingly sexy body and those thighs . Additionally to this the figure includes lots of convincing office paraphernalia. It’s an elaborately designed figure with an interesting pose and great quality.   

What I also liked was the Seikatsu Micchaku Shuzai Special Figure (Lifestyle Total Coverage Special Figure) lineup from FuRyu, where Sonico is portrayed in a variety of daily life activities. Those nicely made prize figures were more focused on Sonico’s cuteness than her being sexy dynamite. The Sonico – Sweets Time version was my first figure that I’ve bought from FuRyu, that review was from 2014 though, last christmas (2017) my dear sister gave me another figure from this lineup, the Sonico – Chatting Time version. I was happy that my sister remembered that I really like Sonico.

Since 2014 Prize figures constantly improved in quality and some even rival a few of the big manufacturers adaptions, of course not because of perfect quality but when there is one thing those figures show their appeal it’s creativity and nicely articulated poses. Recently I was quite impressed by an Kaede prize figure that fellow figure photographer Miette purchased and photographed. Prize figures of Love Live Sunshine currently look more interesting than the announced figures of the top manufacturers, it’s amusing, but I nevertheless also hope to see figures of Aquors in fancy and pretty idol outfits at the upcoming Winter Wonder Festival.

Sonico is sitting on a pillow with her legs placed on the floor, in this pose she measures 140 mm in height.

The figure has a nicely articulated pose, portraying a everday scene of a girl having a chat over the phone. The vintage telephone gives the figure additional charm, as well as the green teddybear that she is holding in her arm.

For the pictures I used a backdrop that I’ve build for last years Maid Ami figure and took a few things out of my figure furniture box and created a cute room for Sonico. The sweater dress of the figure has an attractive design and texture.

Sonico’s face looks very cute with blush marks and crisp eye decals, her face also wears a quite expressive facial expression. It seems like Sonico listens to something exciting or maybe she heard some shocking news over the phone right now. Her hair looks good with the backside being especially smooth and the pastel pink gradient is just beautiful.

Of course Sonico also is sexy, in her shoulder free sweater she has a pretty cleavage and nicely shaped legs.

Overall it’s a nicely sculpted and nicely painted figure, the colors have an appealing saturation the sculpt leaves a very good impression, on closer inspection some areas are slightly rough, but you could display the figure with pride.

I don’t purchase many prize figures, eager collectors are always in need for space and I rather would order an expensive figure to put it on the shelf honestly. But I might make an exception for anime characters I really like ^^.

Anyway, even with a limited budget one doesn’t have to live with unappealing figures, prize figures nowadays can be both appealing and affordable

The figure was released in late November 2017 and I received her shortly before christmas. Hanasaki Marika was sculpted by Hashimoto Ryou, my favorite figure sculptor if I had to name one. She is scaled 1/7 and 22 cm in height.

The figure includes a few parts to assemble a bath corner diorama with mirror, plant, a cup and toothbrushes, it’s really cool that the doors can be opened and that the light works. It’s definetely a nicely made addition to the figure with a convincing design. Although it is also possible to display the figure on a smaller base without the bathroom closet.

The two toothbrushes and too wide shirt could indicate that the character spend the night with her boyfriend.

The figure has been captured in an interesting scene, where the cute Marika brushes her teeth half asleep. Haha she is actually dressed like someone who fell out of bed. Her slightly surprised and still dozy expression is quite adorable.

Marika is a very curvy girl with mature proportions. Her ripe pawpaws and juicy peach bottom are quite inviting. Of course you would always turn the figure in a way that she would look at you, but she has beautiful boobs for sure.

What is more prominent though are her wide hips and the beautiful big butt attached to them. Bigger butts aren’t so common in the figure market, this pink haired figure is a great exception though. The way the panties are digging into her skin accentuates the nice volume and shape. I love it together with these marvelously sculpted thighs (/∇＼*)○♡.

The figure has no additionally cast off magic, you get what you see, nevertheless it would be no real Native figure without additionally lewdness, below the hanging panties you can notice the figures accurately sculpted sweet spot,
it’s not too obvious so that it’s actually a nice detail of the Hanasaki Marika figure.

It’s very obvious that Marika is sexy, but looking at these cute, striped ribbons and hairstyle one can never be too sexy for having kawaii pigtails.The style of her fringe is very cute and girly, the longer parts of the hair have a more mature appeal. The pink hair is nicely done and shaded in soft and also more vivid tones of pastel pink.

I also llike the figures nicely articulated pose, from boobs to butt … EHH! from head to toe of course (⁄ ⁄^⁄ᗨ⁄^⁄ ⁄) it’s an interesting and convincing pose. I really like how her arm partially hides the left breast for example. Additionally the movement of the hair and white shirt have a kind of elegance and make the figure more dynamic.

The face is great as well with the 1/3 closed, blue and beautiful eyes, distintive eye makeup and flushed cheeks. Together and with the small opening of her cute mouth an appealing expression has been created.

Her expression appears ashamed and of slightly pouting character, maybe we should not stare too much at her butt.

The illustration by Pyon-Kti has been adapted very pretty and faithfully, except the sweat traces, but that is probably difficult to recreate and no desired detail anyway. For me the nice skintexture and smooth body sculpting is perfect.

I really appreciate the great looking bathroom corner that was added to the main figure. It was desinged with love and attention to detail. The “wooden” framed mirror, the tiles around the sink or the faucet itself. The tiny accesoires as well as the opening doors and light feature bring the figure to life. The diorama is also pretty useful for photography.

On summary Native’s Hanasaki Marika is a lovely figure with gorgeous curvy body and appealing face. I like her proportions a lot, Hashimoto Ryou did a great job again with this buxom but at the same time cute character. The quality is great, only on second thought the figure could be scaled 1/6 but it’s allright to see her as 1/7 figure instead.
