New Preorders part 10
2012 had just begun and I thought that it is time for a new post about my latest preorders.
From the previous New Preorder part 9 post I’ve already received Nekomura Iroha from Griffon, Shikinami Asuka Langley from Max Factory and in the meantime another order was placed by me. I couldn’t resist the discount at AmiAmi and received the Princess Bitch figure.

New Preorders Part 8
Hi Folks I initially planned to bore you with a figure review of Kotone-chan, but my pc died a few days ago and it will take a bit longer to finish the whole review. So another post comes first, I will just show you my new preorders which I’ve placed in the last few months I waited with this post until I had at least 3 figures to write about. Strike Witches – Charlotte E. Yeager by Alter
Stand to attention! Good morning recruits, today I’ll show you a review about ALTER’s Charlotte E. Yeager figure, this figure is scaled 1/8 with a height of 230 mm and her release date was on 1th July 2011. Charlotte E. Yeager is a character from the popular anime show Strike Witches.
On first look Strike Witches is all about young witches who are fighting against the Nazi’s Neuroi in a World War II setting. The Neuroi invaded europe and the young witches are the only weapon that is effective against these new agressors. These witches are from many different countries, they are all members of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing which is stationed in Britannia. All the witches have special skills to fight the Neuroi aside from their standard weaponry. For flying they are using striker units which are resembling the front half of warplanes from the 1940′s. The witches stick their legs inside of these striker units and are controlling them via magical power.
My Wonder Festival 2011 Summer favorites
The Wonderfestival 2011 Summer excibition started on 24th July 2011, unfortunately I couldn’t be there like someone else I know :p At least you can see most of the stuff which is shown there on the internet as well, without queques and scramble. I searched and checked out a few sites and blogs with pictures and infos of new figures and prototypes the whole morning.
I found many nice and promising figures, lets start with the manufacturers in alphabetical order.
Buddy by ALTER
Hi people after a break of nearly two weeks Im back with a new figure named Buddy on review.
Buddy is a 1/8 scaled figure manufactured by ALTER, released in November 2010. The origin of Buddy is a visual novel and a 3D rpg game called “VOICE FROM HAR MEGIDDO” developed by Leaf and published by Aquaplus for the PC in 2008.
Surprisingly Buddy is one of the bad guys in this game, she is described as a timid and emotionless person. In the game she is teamed up with a guy named Swen whose commands she obeys unconditionally. Judging from my little research in gameplay videos and CG pictures Buddy isn’t that bad at all, she just met the wrong persons in life. Later she even helps the good party members, after they treated her in a friendly manner. Continue reading
My Wonfes 2011 favorites
Yeah its a little late for a Wonfes post, but I think it is a nice topic for a post 
WonFes 2011 or better said Wonder Festival is always a nice event.This winter Wonfes of 2011 took place on February 6, 2011 at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall and was opened from 10:00 to 17:00.
Well I always liked the Wonfes events a lot, there are always are many new, nice and pretty figures and other figure collecting hobby related stuff and of course many nice garagekits.
A big wish of mine is to travel there one day in the future and explore all the booth there. Continue reading
New Preorders part 5
Sometimes my figure collecting hobby is giving me a hard time, not that I have money problems, I really pay attention that I don’t overstress my budget with that, but my problem will be sufficient space in the future. I have days when I think “Arghh where should I put all these figures” and on other days I think “Oh theres enough space for a few more figures” ^^
Review: Takamachi Vivio by ALTER
Hi, Im back to business and today I’ll talk about Vivio in my review, Vivio was manufactured by ALTER and is a 1/7 scaled figure with a height of 280 mm. This figure was released in July 2010.
Her Origin is the anime called Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS where her character was introduced for the first time. Vivio was found in a canalisation by two members of the Striker S team. In the progress of the story she was adopted by Nanoha, because of that her full name turned into Takamachi Vivio and also Fate took good care of her. The small family was fun to watch with Nanoha in the role of the loving yet strict father and Fate as the kind mother ;D
Normally Vivio is a 6 year old friendly child, but near the end the bad guys used a spell to transform her into a powerful and fearsome adult, Nanoha had to face in the final battle.
Review: Momohime by ALTER
So finally my Review of Momohime is done, well Better late than never!
Momohime or in other words – A figure which marched out to outclass most of your figures.
She is a 1/8 scaled figure manufactured by ALTER, I first saw her at Wonfes and I know that I had to order her as soon as possible. I had to wait for Momohime’s released until late july 2010.

Review: Reinforce II by ALTER
Here we have Reinforce II She is manufactured by ALTER and has a height of 190mm. Reinforce is scaled 1/1 in the show Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS she was also around 190mm in height. I got a few months ago, she was sold to me on tsukiboard by porcelainepriss, thx again 
As mentioned before her origin is the anime show Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. Some time went by since I watched this show, so I don’t have much knowledge about her role left.
